Do I need to take a form of purchase when I see a 'genius'?

I'm going to see a genius tomorrow about my iPhone 4, and am wondering whether I need to take a form of purchase for it?
I cannot vividly remember it coming with a receipt, seeing as it was just the box it came in... I ordered it directly from Apple. Should I also of received one?

One more; if I go up there, with a printed off order details of the phone, how do they have proof that it is under warranty? Is this because of how new the device is?

1) The database character set controls (and specifies) the character set of CHAR & VARCHAR2 columns. The national character set controls the character set of NCHAR & NVARCHAR2 columns.
2) Please make sure that you read the section of the Globalization manual that discusses character set migration. In particular, going from UTF-8 to Windows-1252 is going to require a bit more work since the latter is a subset (and not a strict binary subset) of the former.

hi,
well when you copy an ODS only the structure is copied. to load the data you might need to create transformation and DTp to load data in the new ODS.
You need to load data manually. Copying the ODS will only copy the structure.

The last time I tried to connect 2 devices to Itunes I ended up loosing my own music library so I am a bit hesitant to start setting up this new IPOD touch with outsome help. Question is: We are planning to change our DIT structure like moving OU (contains 80k entries including static groups and managed roles,filtered assigned to users) from one sub-suffix to root suffix as below.
Currently we have ou=ldap,ou=directory,dc=example,dc=com
Where ou=ldap has 80k entries and it included managed roles,filtered roles and static groups assigned.
Planning to change DIT as below.
ou=ldap,dc=example,dc=com
1> How to implement this please give some technical knowledge of doing this
2>What precualtions we need to take?
3> Do we have any outage
We have 12 servers installed ldap instance all MMR and its ODSEE 11.1.1.7.0

At first glance, the easiest way would be to use LDAP mod dn operation. However, I would encourage you to review potential issues first:
Before performing a modify DN operation, ensure that the operation would not break client authentication: how do you application depend on the user DNs ? Do they directly bind as <uid=some user>, ou=ldap,ou=directory, dc=example,dc=com or do they discover the actual user dn by doing a lookup/search first as many portal apps do ? Moving entries may require changes to the client application side. Is it something acceptable for you or should that move be transparent for the client apps ?
Similarly, If you move an entry that refers to a SSL client certificate, client authentication will break after moving an entry. Are you using client certificates ?
Before performing a modify DN operation, ensure that the operation would not break your application. The rename or move of an entry can change the following characteristics of the entry: The scope of a filtered role of an entry, The nested role of an entry, where the nested role contains a filtered role, The dynamic group membership of an entry. Furthermore, the entryid attribute of an entry can change when an entry is moved so this may impact your applications if they use the entryid operational attribute.
Static groups that contain reference to the old user dn may be updated automatically if you Enable and configure the referential integrity plug-in on all master replicas in the topology. This action ensures that the server maintains referential integrity for groups and roles.

Need to take over apple ID due to death of a family member

My Dad has died and I need to take over his apple ID in order to help my mum, who has his iPhone, computer, MacBook, iPad, and her iPhone all on his account. I have tried several times contacting Apple Support, and was starting to get somewhere, however, since the middle of March, I have had no response from my emails. Today I phoned apple and got put through to the US (this lady was actually very helpful, although unable to actually help me). I've since scheduled a call, but do not hold out much hope.
Has anyone been through this process?

I'm afraid the only way you are going to be able to deal with this is through Apple Support. You could try regarding it as a security issue. This Apple Help page provides contact information for various countries for security problems with an Apple ID:

[beginner] I need to take data from 4 in Numbers '09 and combine info

I need to take 4 cells of data that has name and address in column and combine all cell information into a single cell in address format so it can be copied and pasted onto labels.
e.g. A1 cell: John A2 cell" smith A3 city A4 state A5 zip code
how can i get all of that info to be:
John Smith
city, state, zip code

Adding to what Yvan posted, if you want the exact format you posted, with commas and a line feed, it would be this:
A1&" "&A2&CHAR(10)&A3&", "&A4&", "&A5
The CHAR function isn't supposed to take codes smaller than 32 but 10 works. It is a line feed.
You may also want to reconsider the comma between the state and zip code as that is typically just a space.

If you received you phone as part of the contract then surely from a legal pov your contract is with 3 not Apple unless you bought Applecare, if you bought your phone outright then put your 3 SIM into it then yes you'd have to visit an Apple store with your phone's purchase receipt.

Time Machine creates a back up of the entire Hard Drive, with the exception of Boot Camp or exceptions you have created. So in other words after you create the profile run Time Machine, and a backup of the other user profile will be added to your Time Machine backups.

Wipe it clean and restore it. You should then be able to rename the iPod and set up an account with iTunes. I hope this helps!
