Call the Store and ask... but more than likely... if an Apple Retail Store... you will not need to take yours.

It's unlikely they will fix it while you wait. They won't go thru your stuff, but if you are that concerned then make a complete backup. Make a new user account; log into the new account and delete your Home folder.

On your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link. My hard drive S.M.A.R.T. status is reading 'Failing' for my 27' iMac. Does this mean that I need to take my iMac to the Apple Store?

Ok, the whole story in a nut shell.
My computer was lagging pretty badly and so I turned it off and on again, obviously. But when I turned it back on, I couldn't get to the login screen, the computer would just freeze at the white loading screen with the Apple logo and the loading spinner.
After that, I left it for a couple hours thinking that it might resolve, when it didn't I forced reboot and booted of the OS X instillation disk, following advice of the internet about running diagnostics.
I opened Disk Utility to see what was going on and I then attempted to run repairs on the hard drive, this failed and froze up. So I rebooted. Next time I open up Disk Utility it highlights the internal hard drive in red and says that the S.M.A.R.T. status is failing. I've seen a couple other people with this problem and I was wondering if this is a reoccurring problem with iMacs or a one of thing, either way, what should I do, take it into the Apple store?

I have a requirement to take the list of employee numbers in a csv file and display its corresponding job on the page.
I have created a item 'MessageFileupload' where the user will upload the csv file containing the employee number and a Button 'Display Jobs' which will display the corresponding jobs on the page.
Any idea how to take the values from the csv file and query it?

1) I am displaying a Stage which is having an image and shapes in it and wanted to take the screen shot as and when i move the shape( which moves the stage ).

I just bought a new 13" Macbook pro i5 on May/03/13 but I need more space and I want to upgrade my Hard Drive from the 500GB it come's with to a 750GB. Correct. After installing the new hard drive, your Mac won't have any operating system, so you will have to reinstall OS X using Internet Recovery > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4718
To start in Internet Recovery, hold Command, Option (Alt) and R keys while your Mac is starting. Then, open Disk Utility and create a partition formatted with "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)", if it hasn't been already created. Finally, close Disk Utility and reinstall OS X.
If you want to copy all the data you had on the old hard drive into the new one, use Disk Utility's Restore feature > http://pondini.org/OSX/DU7.html Note that you will have to buy an enclosure to put the old hard drive

Need help with installing Windows for the bar exam

I need to retake the bar exam in Feb 2011 and I've decided to switch to typing. I am trying to figure out what Windows I need (the software says XP is fine but is that even available anymore)- so can someone walk me through this process? I've partioned my hard drive with the default 5GB but should it be more?
I'm looking at buying Windows- is XP okay or should I shell out for 7-i.e. is one more compatible with Macs?
And then finally, in the installation instructions they mention that I need my Mac OS disc for the process- is that the snow leopard disc or something else? My discs are in storage right now so should I wait until I get them before starting this process or can I get replacements if I accidentally threw them out in moving?
Sorry for all the questions, but well, I'm racing to get everything done and I want to make sure I don't crash my system halfway through the exam!

You don't need Boot Camp, but even XP will have a lot of stuff to update from after the install, and that takes temp space. Just as your Mac shows 5-10GB there is add'l hidden space used.
Apple's 'requirements' has gotten others in trouble and I was pretty sure it was more like 10GB. Plus a lot of XP discs are now SP3.
XP out of the box but connected to the net is just waiting for malware, average is 15 minutes to be infected. 7 is better and just in case you need it again.
System Builder can come in 32 or 64-bit but XP is 32-bit only.
VirtualBox by Oracle is a free VM.
1GB for one program actually seems like a lot, or is that RAM requirement?

Dashboard is used to view the industries KPI, I really don't understand the need of pushing the data from reporting side to DB. If the customers are not clear about that, as a developer we need to explain them the process. On top of all this, if its really helpful for the analysis, then go with them.
