Do i need to update software when i receive to update and is it can make my device out of service it happened before
my previous iphone 4 was not been jailbroken but after a year i did updated the software and my device shown blank on the screen, then when people called me that was ringing but my end shown nothing means no ringing and totally blank on the screen,no ringing and cannot been switch off and on the device.it continous happen between 3-5 month after i updated the new version software which shown on my device at setting mode.Now i really can't stand anymore i got no choice then i need to change to iphone 5.Now my question with this new device i bought in malaysia with no jailbroken do i compulsory to updated software on my new iphone 5 that now shown on my device at my setting mode.Please advice me what i need to do to make my live easy because i dont want to reformat my device as previously and as a result everything i kept in my device was gone.Waiting for your reply urgently.THANKS

I cannot open numbers. When I click to open the message says that, I need to update. When I go to updates is says I am updated. I keep going around and circles. Can anyone help?
Look in your Applications folder for the new version.
Remove the old icon from the Dock and drag down the new one for ease of use. -
My IOS is 4.2.2 and my ipod doesnt accept later versions. Before updating the software, I used to have viber and now I can reinstall it, because it needs IOS 4.3 or later. Is there any place where I can get the older versions of this app? Also, there are others app that wont install, such as netflix, angry birds, etc

Already tried deleting some prefs in the library folder but still not good.Aperture needs to be installed in the Aplication folder and named Aperture for the update to see it.

I have a similar problem and have had this before.
I rang Apple the first time and they said because I had 2 Apple ID's this can happen so I cancelled one Apple ID (which is another problem and drama in itself) and that resolved the issue.
I now have the problem again with only one Apple ID so I've transferring purchases from my iPhone and iPad to iTunes. Then I synced again and hoped for the best. Unlucky! Didn't work. Time to call Apple support again... -
i have apps to be updated but when i try to update them a message pops out saying "You have updates for other accounts, please sigh in with the other id". Can some one help me how can i still update the same with the new apple id ive created. As i dont have the access to the earlier id anymore.
You cannot. The apps are assigned to that Apple ID and there is nothing you can do to change that. You could choose to download them again with the new Apple ID, any paid apps will need to be purchased again.

Not without help. WebView is just a brower. You would need to poll or use an asynchronous notification mechanism.

All you need to do is delete those apps belonging to your wife.
Check Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID: > your own Apple ID here. If not, sign out here and sign in yours. -

I have apps that want to get updated but when i try to update them, the progress bar appears but also dissapeares again, the app isnt updated..
I keep trying but i cant update the apps..First reboot the iPad by pressing and holding down the home and sleep/wake buttons (power) at the same time until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
If that doesn't work then reset the phone by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings
