Do I not get full versions of the CC software when I buy a CC membership?

So I bought my CC membership back in January I think. And the first thing I did was install Premiere Pro CC. I needed it. Now about a month later, I need it again, and it says that I'm on a trial version. I signed into my CC, and tried again, but it still tells me I'm on a trial. The same thing happens with Speedgrade. Apparently after paying for 2 months of subcription, I can only use a 30 day trial version of the software I need. Is this a normal thing? Or should I call adobe, and get this fixed? I'd really really like to have working software on my computer, and I'm spending the money to have it. I'm in college, and on a pretty tight budget, so if I don't get actual versions of the software, I'm going to cancel my subscription. Nowhere on the literature on the CC does it say that you only get access to 30 day trials of most of the software. Please give me a hand here. I need to know if I should end my subscription or not.

Is there a way to download and install a premium version of the ToGo apps (or just the PDF Viewer component - I searched the latter term and found one relevant thread wherein sdgardne had made reference to the premium ToGo apps) on my device from an installation executable within the Windows environment?
Or at least get the necessary file onto the device via Windows?

I would recommend making sure the vibrate switch is not engaged. If the ringer switch is set to audible alert, try the steps in the second article below.

Unable to install iOS 5 on iPad 1. I get "This version of the iPad software (4.2) is the current version."

I have also tried to manually upgrade but then I get the following error message:
The iPad "iPad" could not be upgraded. An unknown error occurred (3002). (I have followed the explanation here on the 3002 error but that does not make any sense.)
I have seen other reports on the same issue but found no solutions. Can anyone help?

I fixed iPad with recovery mode.
Hold down home / power button together for 10 seconds.
Then release power button.
It will go into recovery mode and you can update to OS5.

Mac OS X 10.5.8 is years old, 3 major versions out-of-date and unsupported at this point. You will never get any further updates for 10.5.8, and more and more applications will stop supporting 10.5.8 as time goes on. As mende1 points out, you can buy Snow Leopard (Mac OS X 10.6), which will let you use your new iPhone with your computer, but you need to make sure your computer's hardware is supported. See the system requirements for Snow Leopard:

If your computer cannot run Snow Leopard, you will need to either buy a new computer or abandon any thoughts of syncing the iPhone with that computer.
Also, note that you'll get far better integration of your iPhone and your Mac if you're using Lion (Mac OS X 10.7) or Mountain Lion (Mac OS X 10.8), which are required to use iCloud. Of course, the requirements of those systems are even steeper than those of Snow Leopard:

Problem to get the full version of the game

I recently had a similar issue with an "in-app" purchase. In my case transferring a pre-iBooks book app (The Left Hand of God) from my iPhone to my iPad. Provided you are not talking about "consumable" items such as "ammo" or "bux" then you should be able to go through the motions of purchasing the content right up to the last stage where you have to confirm your password, after which the app should announce that you have already bought the full game/book/extension pack/whatever and let you have it for free.

I bought Adobe Acrobat Pro XI full version but the serial number given to me is invalid

I bought Adobe Acrobat Pro XI full version and the reseller sent me a serial number but when I install an error message says the serial number is invalid.
The reseller claimed it is Adobe's problem not theirs.
Adobe website is very confusing that I am not able to send an email to ask for help.
It has been a week since I bought it and I am still not able to enjoy the program.
How do I go about getting Adobe attention on my problem ?

Ok, thanks for that. If the serial doesn't work, you will indeed need to contact Adobe. But here are some things to try first.
1. Does it refer to a QUALIFYING PRODUCT? If so, enter the serial number of the OTHER product, not the one you just paid for.
2. If you are copy/pasting the serial, try typing it. If you are typing it, try copy/pasting it.
3. Make sure what you purchased matches what you downloaded. For instance, check you didn't buy Acrobat Standard and try to install Acrobat Pro. Or that you didn't buy a Mac product for use in Windows. And so on.

Error when trying to re-mount a VHDx (the version does not support this version of the file format)

I have a vhdx on a NAS that I use for server backup. I created the VHDx via disk management, mounted it and assigned drive letter X. I now created a script that gets triggered upon startup via task scheduler to remount the VHD. If I try to mount it however,
it tells me this:
No matter what I try, I can't mount it. Double clicking just says this:
Eventviewer spits out error 137: The default transaction resource manager on volume X: encountered a non-retryable error and could not start. The data contains the error code.
How do I trouble shoot this? oO Originally I had created the VHD as expanding, where now I recreated it at it's full size of 900GB. Maybe that will make a difference.

Hi Maike,
Do you mean that you can mount the VHDX via disk management but cannot mount it via a script? If so, please provide the diskpart’s mount commands in the script.
In the meantime, check if destination partition is NTFS formatted.

I can not mount it after a reboot. So I create the VHDx via disc management and attach it afterwards without problem. After the server reboots and the attached VHDx dropps, I can't remount it. Gives me the errors I posted above.
As I had mentioned above, I recreated the VHDx at it's full size this time, rather than expanding. That worked just fine and I can remount after reboot.
So I consider this dealt with ;)

Could not get remote version of file.name to compare

Hi All,
Running CS5.5 installed on my new MacPro running 10.6.8.
I have to sites installed. The first one works great including file compare and sync.
On the 2nd site, when I try to do a file compare, I get "Could not get remote version of xxx to compare, where xxx is my selected filename.
As I said, the on the first site, this works perfectly.
I can get files, I can put files, but I cannot compare a file.
I checked the file permissions. They are 755 and the owner is set the similarly to the first site that works.
Another hint is that when I try to sync the site, it tells me that syncronization is not necessary. When I view the files anyway, it shows zero files, even though the show all files checkbox is checked.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Does anyone know how i can get the older versions of the ipod software on my nano because my nano had a feature that when i held down the menu button for a couple of seconds, the backlight turned on.......well ever since i downloaded the most recent software, everytime i hold down the menu button, it goes directly to the menu(which im not very enthusiastic about). Can anyone please help me if you can? I appreciate your help=)

i agree with you 100%, i really want that feature back! it was so useful being able to turn the backlight on and off whenever i wanted. unfortunately im in the same boat as you are as i dont know how to get the old software

Snow base station next to imac - yet not getting full strength reception?

I have my snow base station sitting about 1 foot from my imac, yet only 3 out of the four bars are dark. Meaning I'm not getting full reception? Why is this is? I can't say I notice a significant difference in internet usage, but every little bit helps. I only have a cordless 5.8 ghz phone and my Harmon Kardon soundsticks speakers on the same desk. But from what I understand, 5.8 ghz are not supposed to interfere with cordless internet.
Any suggestions?

Duane, I've tried every channel and no improvement. The only thing I have discovered is if I hold the base station in my hand and lift it up above my head - I get full signal strength. However, if I hold it up and place it against the wall (as though I were to hang it), it drops back down to three bars.
Do you think if I got the newest airport express, my signal strength would be better? Or do you think a more insulated ethernet cable would help? Or could it be my imac airport card?

Issue Summary
In Java 1.7 Update 71, Java 1.7 Update 72 and Java 1.8 Update 25 Deployment Rule Sets do not properly launch the latest available version from the JRE6 family when the jpi-version is specified by the RIA. We've noticed this with Oracle Forms and Reports 11g where we have forms that specify Java 1.6 Update 20. We used to be able to specify Java 1.6 Update 26 in our Ruleset, but now the only version a that works in our ruleset is Java 1.6 Update 20 which is the same version requested by the JPI-Version attribute of the jar. The long term solution would be to upgrade Oracle Forms and Reports, however this isn't currently in the cards.

With the trace logging turned on, I suspected the version attribute supplied by the RIA. I was able to trick Java by adding the following to my system deployment.properties file:

Because the RIA requests 1.6.0_20 it matches 1.6* from the deployment ruleset sooner than 1.6.0_26. However, if 1.6.0_20 is not available 1.6.0_26 should match according to the Deployment Rule Set documentation:

1. The current version of the JRE is used if it is available and matches both the version attribute and the version requested by the RIA.

3. The current version of the JRE is used if it is available and matches the version attribute.
4. The latest available version of the JRE is used if it matches the version attribute.
If no version is available that meets the criteria, then the RIA is blocked, and a message is shown to the user. To provide a custom message, include the message element.
As a result:
If Java 1.6.0_20 is listed in the version requested by the RIA and 1.6.0_20 is listed in the deployment.properties file, #1 matches.
If Java 1.6.0_20 is listed in the version requested by the RIA, but 1.6.0_20 is NOT listed in the deployment.properties file the #1 SHOULD match, but doesn’t. It used to match up-to and including JRE 1.7 Update 51 however the ruleset appears to no longer match in subsequent versions.
#2 should never match with our current Deployment Ruleset. It would match if we specified 1.7* as a version in the Ruleset.xml.
#3 used to be broken as well after JRE 1.7 Update 51 however this bug has been marked as fixed. See: http://bugs.java.com/view_bug.do?bug_id=8032781
I have reproduced this issue with Java 1.7 Update 71, Java 1.7 Update 72, and Java 1.8 Update 25 when one of these versions are installed with Java 1.6 Update 26.

When an after-market graphics card is installed into a motherboard with UEFI enabled in the system BIOS, or if the system is a certified Windows 8 PC with Secure Boot enabled, the system may not boot.
UEFI is a new system BIOS feature that is provided on most new motherboards. A UEFI system BIOS is required in order for the Windows 8 Secure Boot feature to work. Secure boot is enabled by default on certified Windows 8 PCs.
In order to get the PC to boot with a graphics card that does not contain UEFI firmware, the end-user must first disable the secure boot feature in the system's SBIOS before installing the graphics card.
Note: Some system SBIOS's incorporate a feature called compatibility boot. These systems will detect a non-UEFI-enabled firmware VBIOS and allow the user to disable secure boot and then proceed with a compatibility boot. If the system contains a system SBIOS the supports compatibility boot, the user will need to disable secure boot when asked during boot process
This leads me to believe that the BIOS update that wrecked my setup was 9SKT58A/9SJT58A, which only contains one change;
"Adds support for updating BIOS from a WIN7 BIOS to a WIN8 BIOS".

That refers to free disk space, not RAM. If your computer has 4GB of RAM, that's enough. If it only has 4GB of free disk space, you need to delete content from the internal drive; for best results, free up at least 20GB.
