BT in their wisdom tell me they have restricted my service because I havent paid my bill and auto system gives me 2 options - pay my bill or tell them that I have paid it.  I assume they must know what they are doing and choose option 1 to pay my dues only to be told that my account is in credit and no payment is due "thank you" and cut me off.  I check my bill online and I am told again that I am in credit (but by a different amount). I try every number I can find and go around and around for 40 minutes only to finally get the option "key 9" to talk to an advisor - in a queue now with the message "we are very busy....." and again and again and again and.... until at 8:03pm the message changes to "we are closed....." and nobody gives a stuff until 8 o'clock tomorrow morning.

Unfortunately you will need to wait till the morning and go through it all again.
You can claim compensation if they have cut you off by mistake but don't spend it all at once. It is only a days rental for each day you are disconnected.

    After 2 hours transferred back and forth between billing, one bill, home and wireless no one could prove that I owed money.  Wireless said I owed nothing and home said I had a credit for cancelling a couple days before the billing cycle but owed for wireless.  After a three-way called between Home and Wireless and Wireless insisting I do not owe anything, the Home representative disconnected herself, the wireless rep promised me a call back the next day to get the other department online and to get everything resolved.  No one called me back next day and the day after.  Knowing this could go in circles and don't want to do anything bad to my credit, I paid the settlement amount to the collection agencies.  Now I saw that my credit score got ding for an amount that Verizon couldn't prove that I owed.  I should not have paid it at all.   If someone from Verizon reads this message, please get back to me and get this resolved.  After more than 15 years with this company, this is making me so frustrated.  I liked Verizon services but at this point I am going to start looking for someone with better billing.

    I called customer service, spoke to Verizon Wireless Representative but they cannot pull anything on my record.  So after two transfers I asked to speak to financial services.  Spoke to Ronnie Ext 5100.  Representative was very rude, not listening, kept on insisting that since I paid the collection agency I cannot dispute.  Said should not have paid the collection agency.  Rep was over talking, not listing to me explaining my frustration of being on the phone for hours in November between Verizon OneBill, Home and Wireless and got nothing resolved, and that's why I paid.  Said there's nothing she can do except to put a note to Credit Bureau that the account is paid in full.  I asked to talk to a supervisor or a manager and she said no one can do anything else.  I insisted and she asked me to leave a phone number to call back.  After all the calls and speaking to many reps, this is the worst.  Now I am back to square one waiting for someone to call me back.  And my credit score is still one hundred points lower thanks to Verizon!!!

    Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill ? If it's not then that might be the reason that you are getting the security code error : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
    If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorizations have the correct information on file.

    For a standard iTunes account you need a valid payment method even for free apps and app updates.

    - Are you saying that they are not listed in your Purchased section?
    Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
    - Are they listed in your Puchases history when you log into your account on your computer?
    - Are they still available now for purchase? If not then you are out of luck
    If they are still available and listed in your Puchase History then contact iTunes

    Hello, I'm 13 years old and recently I purchased some songs and a tv series from iTunes. Stupidly! I paid for these using my bank card, at the time I only had roughly £10 in my bank account and iTunes are not letting me buy or get any free apps because I need to pay off my previous bill. I am now aware that this is because I do not have any money left in my bank account. And I'm starting to get really worried because if my parents find out they will be SERIOUSLY angry with me because they are always telling me not to do things like this :'-( however, i don't know weather or not to just tell them and get it over with?? I don't know what to do. Below are the questions I would like answering. I would be SO SO SO great full if anyone could answer them...

    This is certainly not an "iPad in the Enterprise" issue and so not really an appropriate question for this forum, but if you owe money to the Mexican iTunes Store, you'll need to input a credit card from a Mexican bank with a Mexican billing address, or redeem a Mexican-issued prepaid iTunes Store gift card or gift certificate in an amount larger than the amount you owe.

    Open iTunes on your computer. In the iTunes Store log into your iTunes Store account and view your account. Select Edit Payment Information. In the credit card choices I would choose None. That will remove your Mom's CC info. Next under iTunes Gift Cards and Certificates click the little arrow to redeem your Gift Card. Then follow the instrction to redeem your GC.
    You can also do this on your iPod, but it is more complicated to describe how to do it and to actually do it. It is easier to do in the iTunes on your computer.

    Your best corse of action would be to either email apple support or ring them giving them your debit I'd and the order number where they will be able to look at what's wrong and set u going on the right track

    What id shows at the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app ? You could try tapping on the id there and logging out of it and then log back in with your account - if your friend downloaded any apps then those apps will be tied to her account, so only her account will be able to download updates to her apps.
