If you are sending and receiving an iMessage, it is data. If you are on wifi, then no, it would not count towards your data use. If you are on cellular, then it would not count as a text, but as a data transfer.

It IS malware, although most AVs like norton don't seem to think so. Fishy that ff doesn't allow uninstall, but it isn't the first. Disable it, run a deep scan to q. its reg keys, and if you REALLY want it gone, uninstall ff with a proper uninstaller (NOT win - s/t like revo) and try again

i have just switched to samsung and i have removed the sim from the iphone however i am still receiving texts rather 'imessage' on the old iphone. how do i make sure all messages only come to my new phone??
You can turn iMessage off on your iPhone. That's relatively easy. Since iMessage is an Apple product/service, I have no idea how a Samsung phone will deal with an incoming one. For that answer you should probably contact Samsung support.

The address and the country on the Credit Card should match the billing address then only payment would be possible.

When trying to pay for an app, i get the following message: "your purchase could not be completed. For assistance contact itunes support at .." However i cant find tbe remedy at that address. Any ideas ?

<Email Edited by Host>When you order a MBP you can have it delivered at any Apple retail store. When you get the e-mail that the MBP is ready to be picked up, you have options to enter in the rersponse if you or someone else will pick it up. You will have to fill in some required information that will identify that person to the store personnel.
I had my last MBP delivered to the local store, but I picked it up.

Are you also connected to the BT Retail Broadband network and not a different communication provider or using a mobile network to view the link?
I'm sure Keith will be able to help you as it's Keith personal website that he allows BT broadband customers use for tips and help guides on BT Retail service problems.
If you try and access the link from a non BT Retail network then it will not work.

We've tried reactivating iMessage, deleting threads, and contacts but nothing seems to work. Has this happened to anyone else?Restart both devices (press the HOME and power button until the Apple logo appears then releasae). If both devices have iMessage turned on and to send as SMS when iMessage is not available, the the green messages are indicative of iMessage not being available on one or both devices.

To repeat my question, Apple offered to install iCloud, and I allowed it. Yet when I try to sign in to iCloud using my Apple ID email and pswrd--an ID that I've been using for YEARS--I'm given the message, "This Apple ID is valid but is not an iCloud account." What is going on?
Everywhere I search on Apple's Support site says to sign in to iCloud using your "Apple ID," which I did. I've had my iTunes account for years (even migrated from the old AOL account system). It's the standard email+password that everyone is supposed to use.
My main question is how can I have a valid Apple ID and not an iCloud account--if the two are supposed to be linked?

tljI've tried both. First, I tried on my pc, where iTunes had installed iCloud when it last updated. I have iTunes installed on this computer (and on my iPad and iPhone), but that wasn't the issue.
So I went online, thinking I needed a separate iCloud Apple ID, but it prompted me for my current Apple ID and gave me the message about my ID being "valid" but not an iCloud account," which, lol, was what it had asked me to do in order to create one. When I send a text message on my iPhone 4s to my two children with non-smart phones, the message comes through blank. If I send it to each one individually, it will go through ok. Is this a problem with my phone or it is something I am doing wrong.
Check your phone to make sure MMS is turned on. If it is, check with your cell provider and make sure your phone is provisioned correctly.
