Do I register eprint with my printer email address or a personal address?

HP asks us to register the eprint app with an email address. Is this the printer email address or a personal address?

Hi earlpw,
You use the printer code to set up the printer email address and you use your personal email address to set up an ePrintCenter account.  For more getting started steps you can follow this link: http://h30495.www3.hp.com/help#getting_started.gs-support-apps-eprint

If you updated your existing account then try logging out of it on the iPad by tapping on the id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on the iPad. If you created a new account then any content that you purchased/downloaded via the old account will remain tied to that old account, and only that old account can download updates to its apps.

  • HT1918 My father has a new email address, whenever we try to sign into his apple account, it comes up with his old email address and asking for his password, I created a new account with his new email address, however I cannot download the eprint app.

My dad's email has changed, he cannot remember his password under his old itunes email account. Whenever he tries to download apps on his new iphone with his new email address, it is asking for his password for his "old email" account. We created a new itunes account with his new email address, but whenever we try to install an app, it keeps asking for his password and shows his old email address. What is the best way to solve this problem?

what is my printer email address

    Hi,
The following is an extract for the HP ePrint Help Centre.
For Photosmart: On the printer's front panel display, touch Wireless>Web Services>Display Email, or if available on your device, touch the ePrint icon on the printer front panel.
For OfficeJet: On the printer's front panel display, touch the ePrint icon (4.3” display only) to display the email address or Setup>Web Services Setup>Printer Email Address to reprint the information sheet.
Photosmart Only: If you register your printer at ePrintCenter.com, your email address displays on the ePrint panel.
For LaserJet: On the printer's front panel display, touch the ePrint icon or “How to Connect” to display the email address. For LaserJet printers with the small 2 line display, please print out the information sheet to see the email address.

I have my printer email address, but I can not see my printer listed when I login to hpeprint.com

I will need some more information in order to assist. What model of printer do you have? Different printers have different features such as the ability to display the printer's ePrint address on the front panel of the printer. The website that the printer can be viewed at is eprintcenter.com. Click on this link here to see the sign in page. Have you signed up and register the printer at this site? Is the email address for the printer one that you have customized? Or is one consisting of what appears to be random letters and numbers?

    Hi,
You will always have to use the claim code which was printed when registering the printer to web services.
You have to claim the printer within 24hrs.
If you have not done this in 24hrs, print the information sheet again, get the claim code and then claim it and change the email.
    Kind Regards,
    Oliver

  • Finding printer email address

I bought our photosmart eprinter 2 years ago and set it up to print wirelessly, however I've never emailed anything to it.  I am now trying to set up cloud print and my tablet is asking for the printer email address and I have no idea what it is- is there a way to find that out. thanks

Have you already setup and registered your printer in ePrint Center? If so, you can get your printer email address from ePrint Center (www.hp.com/go/eprintcenter).

We have iPad2 and Macbook Pro. Both are registered to iTunes acct (same email address). We want to be able to use Facetime when she goes off to college.  Any advise greatly appreciated!

On your Mac, launch FaceTime and then go to the menubar for FaceTime->Preferences.
Within Preferences for FaceTime, look for the entries under "You can be reached for calls at:" and click on "Add Another Email..."
    Add another email address.
The iPad can now be used to "call" the Mac by trying to start a FaceTime connection to the alternate email address you just entered. The Mac can be used to call the iPad by trying to start a FaceTime connection to the primary email address associated with the iPad.

  • Web Services Setup -Printer Email Address

I am having same problem locating the printer email address to setup eprint and I have the 910A; thoughts?

    Hi gligon,
I'll be happy to help you set up ePrint for your printer.
I just have a few questions for you:  first, is the printer connected to your network?  If so, have you enabled Web Services?
Both of these factors will determine what we do from this point.

I have two apple I.D., one with the .me email address I want, how can I delete it so that I can use that .me address on my other account
Or is it possible to transfer the purchases (apps) to my new .me account so that I can re-download them in the future without having to switch accounts?

You can't do this, and you can't transfer purchases between accounts. There is no conflict about using one ID for iTunes, iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match (the ID you've been using for iTunes) and using the other ID for iCloud.

  • I am having serious issues trying to alter my old iCloud account with an old non-functioning email to my new apple id with a new email address. The message keeps coming up on all my apple products with my old email (which is not available anymore).

I am having serious issues trying to alter my old iCloud account with an old non-functioning email to my new apple id with a new email address. The message keeps coming up on all my apple products with my old email (which is not available anymore).

I have the same problem - it is maddening. I rely on this iPad for work so this is not just an annoyance! The above solutions of changing the appleid on the device or on the website do not work.
The old email address no longer exists - I haven't used it in a year probably and I no longer have the account.  I logged into the appleid website and there is no trace of the old email address so there is nothing that can be deleted or changed there.  On the iPad there is no trace of the old email address so nothing can be deleted there either. I have updated the iPad software and the same problem comes right back.  Every 2 seconds I am asked to log in using the old non-existent email.  The device is currently useless.
The only recent change to anything was the addition of an Apple TV device, which was set up using the correct login and password.
Does anyone have any ideas? The iPad has been backed up to the iCloud so presumably it now won't recognize the current iCloud account? So restoring may notbe an option?
