I wonder if the iPhone 5 supports 4G LTE network in Chile or whether to wait for an update that is due

I will be ordering 3 iPhone 5's and have decided to get Applecare+ on two of them. I've suffered through the broken Home button on my iPhone 4 long enough to convince me to get it. Plus the accidental damage replacement would be a lot of comfort. The only reason I'm not getting it for all three is one of the phones is for my grown daughter and I figure if she wants it she can buy it herself.

Does Iphone 6 support TD-LTE which is the 4G standard in China?
I also saw that there are different modes listed on the iphone6 page. Are these modes all available? A1549, A1522, A1586, A1524

Can i buy a factory unlocked version of A1586 in US retail store.(What i mean "Factory unlocked" is that i can use A1586's all bands supported all over the world.)

  • Can iphone 6 support TD-LTE network under China Mobile?

I bought a iphone 6 in Australia. can it support TD-LTE network under China Mobile?

LTE is supported on the A1586 with China Mobile. That's the same model sold in Australia. So long as it's an unlocked phone, and your account is properly provisioned, LTE should work fine.

I assume you mean Voice over LTE (VoLTE)? If so, I do not believe it does. It certainly doesn't with my carrier (Verizon).

  • HT3939 is my iPhone 5s support LTE Advance?

is my iPhone 5s support LTE Advance?

Apple only guarantees LTE support using an iPhone designed for the country/region, on a supported carriers network, in that country region. Fact is, there are only three supported carriers in Malaysia, and U-Mobile is not one of them. Further, the iPhone is not officially sold in Cambodia, so if that's where you purchased this phone, then you purchased a grey market import, that could have come from anywhere.
That's why you don't have LTE.

  • Can the unlocked iphone 6 support LTE in Malaysia?

Can the unlocked iphone 6 support LTE in Malaysia?

There is currently no support for LTE carriers in Malaysia for the iPhone 6 / 6+.  Only the 5/5c/5s support LTE in Malaysia.

  • If my iphone 4s doesn't support 4G LTE, then what kind of data would I get from the plan with 4G LTE Data?

I am currently have iphone 4s. I am planing to use the plan which have 4G LTE for data; however, my phone doesn't support 4G LTE. So, i want to know what kind of data would i get from this plan. Is it gonna be 4g or 3g or no data at all? I am very confused right now.
The plan is UNLIMITED WEB & TEXT WITH 100 MINUTES TALK.  Up to 5Gb of nationwide 4g lte data.
If you look at the plan it has 4g lte data, but my phone doesn't support it. Please answer my question.

Ask the wireless provider you have the plan with - they should be able to tell what speed
you will get if you cannot connect at 4G/LTE.
Your iPhone will connect at the highest speed it can by default. But not all wireless providers
offer 3G as the fallback connection on their 4G network - some fall back to 2G.

Will the Iphone 5 support the Mobile Hava player

It does...  I saw a photo of the relevant slide that was put up during the iOS 6 announcement, but am too lazy to look for it now.
It's possible it may not have made it into the final release. Apple never made any statements about it as far as I know beyond the slide referenced.
Near the end of the iOS portion of the keynote, Apple showed a slide listing a host of other features included in the iOS 6 update. Among those were Game Center challenges, the ability to connect Game Center friends from Facebook, VoiceOver improvements, personal dictionary in iCloud (for adding your own terms to the dictionary, which can sync between devices), and per-account signatures in Mail. Also on the list was improved privacy, which—as a new option in Settings—will let you control which apps can access which bits of personal data, like your Contacts, Calendar, or Photos. Other features on the list included autocorrection for every keyboard,Bluetooth MAP support (which is commonly used to help cars better offer hands-free communication with Bluetooth devices), kernel ASLR (which aims to make data even more impervious to snooping from malicious attackers), custom vibrations for alerts, redesigned stores (for the App and iTunes stores), IPv6 support for Wi-Fi and LTE, word highlights for speak selection, improved keyboard layouts, alarms with songs, and faster JavaScript in Safari. Apple also says iOS 6 includes a global HTTP proxy option, which would supplant the current approach, limited as it is to per-connection proxy settings."

  • Is iphone 5 support 4g in India..?

Is iphone 5 support 4g in India..?

Read the link a little closer:
With LTE on iPhone 5c, iPhone 5s and iPhone 5, you can browse the web, stream content, or download a movie at blazing-fast speeds. To see if your iPhone works with LTE networks in your country, refer to the chart below.1For more details, contact your carrier.

  • What happens if the iPhone 5 is 4G LTE?

Does anyone know if the 3G network will ultimately be phased-out? Purchasing another iPhone 4S, just hope it won't be obsolete in the near future if the iPhone 5 is 4G LTE or Verizon pulls another fast one on customers and no longer wants to support 3G service.

some day 3g will be obsolete.....but not any time in the next few years. the iphone5 will likely be like the rest of the LTE devices that are out now. it will be able to utilize LTE where it's available, but will also have 3g ability. there are WAY too many 3g devices out there and way to few LTE markets to get rid of 3g any time in the next few years.
verizon is currently phasing out "3g only" devices. they want every phone to be LTE capable......they will all still be 3g capable as well.

    No.
(I'd put the link up but I think Verizon would delete/edit my post).
From a New York Time's piece, "It was Apples decision to design the iPhone 5 so that customers could only make voice calls and do Internet activity simultaneously only over Wi-Fi, not over Verizon cell network."
    The reason why...
"The explanation for this, it turns out, is complicated. The technology  in 4G LTE networks does not currently handle voice transmissions; it  only does data. So when you place a phone call on a 4G LTE smartphone,  it’s actually rolling back to the carrier’s older second- or  third-generation network, according to AnandTech, a Web publication that  does deep analysis on hardware."
