Do Not Disturb doesn't work!

Do Not Disturb does NOT work! It still lets in calls. I have tried all the settings to no avail. Even selecting block every call, all the time, the moon icon is showing, but the calls still come through!
What the?! Come on Apple... this is not rocket science. I've embarassed myself in public settings because this easy feature is broken!

I think you are correct. Page 31 of the manual says:
Do Not Disturb
Do Not Disturb is an easy way to silence iPhone, whether you’re going to dinner or to sleep. It keeps calls and alerts from making any sounds or lighting up the screen.
Turn on Do Not Disturb. Swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen to open Control Center, then tap . When Do Not Disturb is on, appears in the status bar.
Note: Alarms still sound, even when Do Not Disturb is on. To make sure iPhone stays silent, turn it off.
Configure Do Not Disturb. Go to Settings > Do Not Disturb.
You can schedule quiet hours, allow calls from your Favorites or groups of contacts, and allow repeated calls to ring through for those emergency situations. You can also set whether Do Not Disturb silences iPhone only when it’s locked, or even when it’s unlocked.

Do not disturb used to work perfectly fine. All my notifications still came up but was completely silenced, as is the purpose of DND.
But now no notifications show up when i'm actually using my phone, leading to me not seeing notifications for at least an hour. Also, when on DND with my phone locked and I received a notification, it would make my phone wake up, but now I have to manually wake up my phone to see notifications.
I use an iPhone 5S running iOS 8.1 and I have never encountered this problem before. How do I fix it?

Again, according to the manual, when the phone is in DND mode, it does not light up in anyway. You're not supposed to be notified of anything. As I don't use it very much, I don't know what it used to do. I can only say that I'm seeing the behavior described in the manual. And, if they put it in the manual, I would assume it's working the way they intended.

Do not disturb doesn't switch off out of the scheduled period in first morning of 2013. (With GMT+8)

I made some tests and this issue will fix itself on Sunday January 6, 2013. It will happen the first few days of January 2014 (until Sunday January 5, 2014) if the bug is not fixed. Most first few days of most years seem to have this bug. The bugs starts on January 1st (based on the From time under Scheduled) and is usually fixed on the first Sunday of the year (except if the first day of the year is a Sunday, then it is fixed on the second Sunday). Years preceding years where the first day is a Sunday are not affected by the bug.
Let's check the next few years, this is the pattern :
2013 : Issue fixed on Sunday Jan 6
2014 : Issue fixed on Sunday Jan 5
2015 : Issue fixed on Sunday Jan 4
2016 : Issue not happening even though first day is a Friday
2017 : Issue fixed on Sunday Jan 8 (Jan 1st is also a Sunday)
2018 : Issue fixed on Sunday Jan 7
2019 : Issue fixed on Sunday Jan 6
2020 : Issue fixed on Sunday Jan 5
2021 : Issue fixed on Sunday Jan 3
2022 : Issue not happening even though first day is a Saturday
2023 : Issue fixed on Sunday Jan 8 (Jan 1st is also a Sunday)
2024 : Issue fixed on Sunday Jan 7
Etc...
The same pattern happens if you go back in time as well.
Note : If DND is scheduled before midnight, then the issue and the fix (see above) are delayed one day since it's based on the From time under Scheduled.

Do Not Disturb function stopped working automatically

My "Do Not Disturb" function on my iPhone 5 worked per the time schedule I set in Notifications. It only works when I manually set the On/Off function. Does anyone have a fix?

I don't know how wide spread this bug it, but I wouldn't call it sporadic, as I have 2 iPhones (iPhone 5 and iPhone 4) as well as an iPad 3 with the latest versions of iOS and ALL 3 have this DND bug
Its so annoying, i'm just waiting on the fix but for now I have had to turn the feature off completely!

Serial number not working, not disk doesn't work (mac copy)

I've just brought a new Mac Mini installed my Photoshop CS3 onto it. When I opened the application my serial number wouldn't work because I've used it too many times. My last computer crashed, so I can't take Photoshop off it. I followed a tutorial which had two options:
1. reset the clock on your computer uninstall and re-install.
2. delete the following folders in /Library/Application Support/Adobe: Adobe PCD, backup and caps. And re-install
Now when I try to install Photoshop CS3 it doesn't even install! There is a cross instead of a tick next to everything. I've tried repair disk in Disk Utilities, and I was told that there was nothing wrong with the CD.
Is there a way to fix this?

hence follow this step:-
1) Run the cleaner tool for CS3 , www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

Ipod Touch, Notes App doesn't Work?

The Notes App on my 1st generation Ipod touch doesnt work. When I open it up, it shows all my notes but I when I try to create a new note and click "done" it goes right back to the main screen. When I try to view my previous notes, their all mixed up. When I try to delete a note, it goes right back to the main screen.

The solution can be quite "devastating", if you have a lot of data on your iPod touch. So... do the restoration from iTunes. After the installation, iPod will connect to iTunes, and there is a screen asking if you want to make this iPod a "new" one, or restore your previous setting on there. Choose the "new" option, which is the first choice. Obviously, you will lost all the data if you have a lot. It is an absolute clean slate. and notes will work again.
Just a note for people who's updating to iSO 3.0: delete all the notes you have before updating. I think the file registration for the notes are all massed up after update.

I have LE 7.2.3 and Note Velocity does not show up in Hyperdraw.
In a book I have, Note Velocity is one of four options shown in the bottom panel of the Hyperdraw submenu - Channel Pressure, Pitch Bend and Program Change being the other three. Twelve options, plus "Other . . ." are shown in the upper panel. In my copy of LE 7.2.3, the only options that appear are the ones you've described. I suspect the others are Logic Pro only features, although I can find no mention of it.

Need to restart iphone 5 to get do not disturb slider to work in settings

This scenario happens frequently and there are other sensitivity issues. I list this example because I have to repeat the restart multiple times daily!

If resetting the phone by holding the home and off button down until the apple symbol comes up doesnt fix it, then you should restore your phone from your backup in itunes by connecting your phone to the computer that you use with itunes, then right click on your phones name to the left, then click restore from backup. Thats assuming you have backed up your phone recently.

Do Not Disturb turned on, call got through after being silenced 7 times

Hi all,
I scheduled DND to automatically turn on every night and it's been working fine until tonight. Someone called me during the night and after 7 missed (silenced) calls, the 8th got through. Fortunately I was not asleep yet but it was very irritating as I don't like being disturbed at night.
"Repeated calls" has always been and is still disabled; the 8 calls took place within 16 minutes and came from the same number, which was not in my favorite (it wasn't even in my contacts) so I really don't know what went wrong.
I was not using the phone at the time so I'm sure it was locked.
Has this happened to anyone else?

My do not disturb schedule will not work

When I schedule a "do not disturb" on my phone (iphone 4s), it does not automatically turn it on. It will only work when the do not disturb is swiped on/off manually. Can anyone help with a solution please?

I got my Iphone 4s about a month ago. Updated my software to ios 6.0 abot a few days ago. I tryed DO NOT DISTURB option when i first got the phone, and i tried it a few minutes b4 i turned this computer on. My do not disturb still doesnt work. I know this b/c i put my house phone is on the list and when i call my phone (with screen being off or unlocked) the call still comes through and rings! this **** is wack! I've read and set up the correct way as tutorial has said but i still recieve phone calls? Can anyone explain the reason behing that??
Im not having any time scheduling problems like everyone else. ITs me still recieving call, when i dont want them, and the line still rings on the other end??? How come no1 else is having this problem but me??? NEED HELP

StageWebView Doesn't work on Android with Captive Runtme...

If I make an apk with the default setup (requires separate runtime download) it works, but not with captive runtime. I need captive runtime so that it can be accepted into Amazon Appstore.
StageWebView.isSupported appears to return true when run, and then it just doesn't work.
Is there any way around this? Will this work in the future?
I am probably just going to work around it and do without it for this release, but would like to see if anyone knows what the deal is with it and let folks know of the issue.
Edit: I have found that any usage of a StageWebView object not only doesn't work, but makes errors and breaks other parts of the app, so I have had to disable any usage of it...

I'm also using StageWebView, but I don't have the problems you mention. I am using Captive Runtime to compile my app and it's working fine in the Android Market (I haven't tried Amazon Appstore, though).
The version of AIR i'm using is 3.1. Are you using this version?

Could you please try your scenario again? We deployed a service change recently which should support this scenario.
We have a different issue where testing of queries in the browser (without starting a job) does not have this fix yet, that change should be rolled out as soon as it is ready.

I have 'Do Not Disturb' on, but I'm still being disturbed.

Title pretty much says it all, but here are some particulars...
* iPad mini, 32 GB, iOS 6.1.3
* Do Not Disturb is set to ON in settings.
* It is it not on a schedule. It is simply set to ON.
* Ordinarily, I will just turn the switch on the side of the device on, however, some games and other programs ( for example, You Don't Know Jack) won't play audio with that switch on.
Am I missing something?

The Do not Disturb function only works when the unit is in sleep mode.

In iOS6 the do not disturb otion was working fine. But in iOS7 the call rings even if the phone is Do Not Disturb mode.Helpless.. :/

Also, there is currently an issue with Do Not Disturb (and Call Block) in iOS 7 on the Rogers network in Canada. It's related to Rogers Name Display feature.

TS4510 'Do not disturb' moon icon still stay on after my scheduled time.

I thought the 'Do not disturb' issue should have solved until I recently slide the 'Do Not Disturb' back to 'ON' and found that the moon icon still stay on after my scheduled time. Restarted the iphone5 (already running iOS 6.1.3) still showed the moon icon.
If the 'Do Not Disturb' is slide to OFF, with a schedule period being set (e.g. 22:00 - 07:00). The moon icon still appear from 22:00, no noise.
If the 'Do Not Disturb' is slide to ON, moon icon always show, phone still ring outside the scheduled period.
Is it what the 'Do Not Disturb' designed to work like this now?
