Dear all,
Does anyone know where I could find the corresponding option in Web Intelligence for "Do Not Generate SQL before running" (in Desktop Intelligence)? Thanks.

Go to the 'Edit Query' panel and press the 'SQL' button.  There is a 'Use Custom SQL' check box that allows you to change the SQL manaully and if you 'Save' the results will work the same as 'Do Not Generate SQL ...'

  • "Do not generate SQL" VB macro

    is it possible to get the property "Do not generate SQL" in  VB macro?
    thanks

    Hi Cyril,
    I know you were looking for that, but it's not available as attribut in the current object model as Suresh said.
    Then again why would you insist on doing this via the macro iso in the dp itself?
    Are you adding a new dp via vba?
    Or are you using the macro for more than one document?
    Just curious about the why...
    Sorry I can't be of more help,

  • RE : IDOCS did not Generate after payment run

    I have a unique issue.  After APP run (ACH) all accounting entries & payment document created corectly. However idoc's for 3 vendors did not generated. There is no issue with configuration as this is not a new vendor and every month payments made off automatically. Vendor complained non receipt of payment after 10 days  and I could not find the log for that day. Could anyone please give some hints what could have gone wrong if anyone is expereinced this issue. As I said earlier all config and set up are correct and infact after that one payment is made to that vendor.
    Thanks
    Ivan

    Hi,
    Once APP run completed, Vendor open items will be cleared.
    You have to create IDOC using WE19.
    Run the Idoc using AL11
    may be your problem will be solved
    Thanks

  • Call a function whose name will not be known before run time

    how can i make a call to a function whose name will not be known to me before run time.

    how can i make a call to a function whose name will
    not be known to me before run time.That smells like a design-flaw! Care to explain what it is you're trying to do exactly? Perhaps I, or someone else, can suggest another (maybe even better/easier) approach.

  • DME Output not Generated after Payment Run in F110

    Hello,
    I have a typical problem. I have been running the payment run for a Finland Company  and I am not able to generate the DME data medium contents in the overview which generally appears for other company.
    I have checked the Payment Method for the Country and the Format given there is FI_LUM2. And the Payment Method Workbench is selected instead of the classic payment programs. In the payment method for company code there are no forms available. I just wanted to ask whether it is mandatory to define a form at the company code level in case of a Payment Method Workbench being used in Country payment method?
    About the customizing of PMW Payment Medium formats I went to the node Adjust Payment Medium Formats and then checked at standard settings for the relevant format FI_LUM2 and found that payment medium accompanying sheet was not ticked. Could this be the cause.
    I don't really understand. Please help me out.
    Thanks
    Chetan Mahapatra.

    Hi,
    Run payment through F110 without putting variant name in front of RFFOEDI1.
    After running F110, go to SE38 transaction and put all the detail and execute, system will tell you the reason of not generating IDOC.

  • Updates on a specific COLUMN is not generating a BEFORE or AFTER value ...

    I have a table SCHEMA_OWNER.RX_TX table that has 182 columns. Here is the extract param file. Also on this table i have enabled ALL COLUMNS to be supplimental logged via "alter table SCHEMA_OWNER.RX_TX add supplemental log data (all) columns". The table has a PK on the "ID" column. Please note that the POS_REFUND_DATE column in the table SCHEMA_OWNER.RX_TX is 178th column.
    When i execute the following UPDATE followed by a COMMIT, when the current value of POS_REFUND_DATE=NULL, i do not see TRAIL records getting created in the trail file.
    SQL>Update Eps2_Kp_900001058.Rx_Tx Set Pos_Refund_Date=Pos_Refund_Date Where Tx_Number=1014524 And Nhin_Store_Id=900001058 And Id=4575035;
    SQL>COMMIT;
    NOTE: If POS_REFUND_DATE is NOT NULL, before the above UPDATE is executed, then TRAIL RECORDS (i.e. before and after trail records) are successfully created.

    Hope to get a solution to the above issue. Why no TRAIL records are being created for this 178th column in question. If i do for example the following SQL for a different column say "RETURNED_DATE", when the value of the RETURNED_DATE=NULL before the UPDATE is fired, the TRAIL records are being generated.
    SQL>Update Eps2_Kp_900001058.Rx_Tx Set RETURNED_DATE=RETURNED_DATE Where Tx_Number=1014524 And Nhin_Store_Id=900001058 And Id=4575035;
    SQL>COMMIT;

    This looks like a trailing null issue. Sometimes Oracle decides not to write columns to the redo logs if they are null and they are the last column in the record. What version of Oracle is this? I can ask QA to look into this and see what can be done.
    Thanks for the reply, but
    1) The UPDATE done to a column i.e.POS_REFUND_DATE is NOT THE LAST column of the table=eps2_kp_900001058. Please see the DDL that is in this mail chain. So your observation is not right.
    2) Also the TRAIL records does get generated if the following UPDATE is executed and the value of this column is NOT NULL prior to the firing of this UPDATE
    Update Eps2_Kp_900001058.Rx_Tx Set Pos_Refund_Date=Pos_Refund_Date Where Tx_Number=1014524 And Nhin_Store_Id=900001058 And Id=4575035;
    3) The TRAIL records does not get generted if the following UPDATE is done and the value of the column POS_REFUND_DATE is NULL before the UPDATE is fired.
    Update Eps2_Kp_900001058.Rx_Tx Set Pos_Refund_Date=Pos_Refund_Date Where Tx_Number=1014524 And Nhin_Store_Id=900001058 And Id=4575035;
    Very strange. Hope you can get me an answer.
    Also opened an SR for this issue, the SR details are:
    SR 3-7288541301 : TRAIL records are not getting generated for SELECTED UPDATE SQL statements - DB supplimental logging
    4) Also the DB version is 11gR2, 11.2.0.3, 64 bit enterprise edition on AIX

  • Ejb3 entity bean not generating valid sql for postgres 8.1

    Hello,
    I originally posted this on the jboss seam board as I ran across this error on a seam test example, but it seems it's more generally applicable to ejb3 entity beans not generating sql that postgres can understand. I'll post my message below, all replies are appreciated.
    I'm going through the hello world example from the seam book, and I'm getting an error I cannot resolve, that with an auto generated sql statement, that's not valid for postgres 8.1, the database I'm on. Here's my error:
    17:40:31,370 INFO [STDOUT] Hibernate: select next value for person_id_seq from dual_person_id_seq
    17:40:31,394 WARN [JDBCExceptionReporter] SQL Error: 0, SQLState: 42601
    17:40:31,394 ERROR [JDBCExceptionReporter] ERROR: syntax error at or near "value"
    17:40:31,396 FATAL [application] javax.ejb.EJBException: javax.persistence.PersistenceException: org.hibernate.exception.SQLGrammarException: could not get next sequence value
    javax.faces.el.EvaluationException: javax.ejb.EJBException: javax.persistence.PersistenceException: org.hibernate.exception.SQLGrammarException: could not get next sequence value
    Here's the table definition
    - create table Person (id bigint not null, name varchar(255), primary key (id))
    - create table dual_person_id_seq (zero integer)
    - create sequence person_id_seq start with 1 increment by 1
    and here's the entity bean:
    @Entity
    @Name("person")
    @Table(name="person")
    @SequenceGenerator(name="person_sequence", sequenceName="person_id_seq")
    public class Person implements Serializable {
    private long id;
    private String name;
    @Id
    @GeneratedValue(strategy = GenerationType.SEQUENCE, generator="person_sequence")
    public long getId() { return id;}
    public void setId(long id) { this.id = id; }
    public String getName() { return name; }
    public void setName(String name) { this.name = name; }
    How do I get it to generate a valid sql statement for postgres?

    I think you should try putting the sequence generator annotation over the primary key field. Try it and be sure it works.
    regards,
    Michael

  • SQL script runs under SQL Devoper, will not run under UNIX, SQLPlus

    I have a sql program I developed under the SQL Developer tool and it runs fine. I have ftp'd the sql to the Unix server and I am trying to run the same program under SQL Plus in unix. The program echo's back the line number that is the last line number in the code before the 'Exception' code in the program and it goes out into never never land.
    I can't figure out why this runs under SQL Developer but will not run under SQLPlus in Unix. Any ideas would be appreciated!!!!

    Assuming that the ftp process did not append any invisible characters(which it usually does) at the end of each line,
    did you put the '/' symbol at the end of your program before running in sql*plus
    something like
    begin
    end;

    New package or one that used to work? Connecting how? How does it poll?
    On the surface it is an error from a memory space of the binary/non-managed code, so nothing can be really concluded based on what you decided to share with us.

    How to make sure that schema name is not included with generated sqls with tableadapter wizard.
    What should I use? Oledb, ODT.NET, where can set that I want "pure" sqls, not schemas, not ", or anything like this
    I want
    "Select a,b from t1" ,not "select "a","b" from schema.t1"
    Also schema name is put in all parameters, all over the place... What if schema name changes. (b1test to b1prod)

    I am trying to reverse an XML file and running into the following exception:
    java.sql.SQLException: Could not generate the DTD because the file could not be created. Verify that you have write permission in the directory.
    I have permission to the directory, so I suspect something else is causing this. I saw in another thread that file name length sometimes caused this. I tried that approach and it did not help.
    I am trying to get data from an oracle table and put it in an XML file using an interface.
    I have my interface set to use an oracle source table and an XML target. My LKM is SQL to SQL and my IKM is SQL Control Append. I have staging area different from target set.
    My model (for the XML file) has technology set to XML, uses the SnpsXML jdbc driver and I use the following parameters in my file path: f, d, s, dp. This tests successfully.
    I am trying reverse the xml file using standard reverse.
    I am running this on a remote agent.
    I am using ODI 10.1.3.5.5
    Thank you for any help you can provide me.

  • Error "Lock not set for: Generate index" while running process chain

    SAP BI 7.0
    SP 17
    I am attempting to run a new process chain and the generate index steps are failing with the below errors:
    "Lock NOT set forGenerate index"
    "RSSM PROCESS INDEX terminated, because InfoCube/DSO object could not be locked."
    The process chain just pauses. I let it finish once and it took 2 hours and then it gave the failure messages. I have looked in sm12 and can see the lock records when the process chain is running - unfortunately I can't make much of what's there - everything looks good to me. I also tried creating the indexes manually inside the cube and then re-ran, but still get the same error. Before running the process chain, I can get the indexes to check to green, but then after running the process chain they go back to red. I have attempted many things (including looking at other forum posts), but I still have the error. Please help. Thanks

    Hello,
    So Create index is getting failed in you PS right?
    1)check  if any other loads are running to the same CUBE(May be from other PC's also)
    Goto Manage of the cube and check, some times it may happen if any Loads are running into cube I mean Load/DTP & roll up may be running.. if so wait till the others Loads(Jobs) get complete then Repeat the failed index
    2) If the Create index is running for long time, then  got RSDDV--> Select the CUBE then click on BIA index(Maintenance wizard), you can see a message if indexes are running , this will happen  only when some one would have tried to generate the indexes manually and it may got failed due to some reason , since u are running it manually u couldn't identify whether it got failed or not unless you got to RSDDV and check. So delete the index here and then rebuild them through PC
    Hope it helps!
