No offense, but it never ceases to amaze me that anyone could set a 4 digit passcode, which they can not remember? None-the-less, you are clearly not alone as people seem to do this daily. You'll have to connect your iPad to your computer and in iTunes, restore your iPad as new.

Please not that the iPhone uses mono channel for internal speakers, the other path that you see is not the speaker per say. It is the phone microphone. Try using headphones, you will hear both channels. If the problem still persists when using headphones, check your sound balancing in the settings. Go to setting-general-accessibility scroll down and check the slide under mono audio. It should be put at the centre for you to hear both channels ON YOUR HEADPHONES

I created a "guest" network on my Time Machine router, but now i can't remember the password. How can I reset the password on that guest network?

When I upgraded to Time Machine to replace my Apple Airport, I created a "guest" network as well as a main network for the family. Now I can't access the guest network, likely because I am not using the right password. I have forgotten (if I ever knew) how to edit the password requirements for a network. Any assistance would be welcome.

On your Mac.....
Open Finder > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility
Click on the Time Capsule icon, then click Edit in the smaller window that appears
Click the Wireless tab at the top of the next window
The settings for the Guest Network are located in the center of the window, below the settings for the "Main" network.
Edit/backspace out the password for the Guest Network and and then Verify the password again
Click Update at the lower right of the window and give the Time Capsule a full minute to restart
It might be a good idea to write down the new password that you created and keep it in a safe place.

Go to general tab in Preferences and uncheck the option "Always create smart object when placing" Close Photoshop and then reopen it and check.

I got some help from an apple assistant on the phone. It is kind of round about way to get in.
Here is what he said to do and it is working for me...
a. on the device that is asking you for the security questions go to "settings", > "store" >
      tap the Apple ID and choose view"Apple ID" and sign in.
b. Tap on payment information and add a credit/debit card of your preference then select
      "done", in the upper right corner
c. sign out and back into iTunes on the device by going to "settings"> "store" > tap the
      Apple ID and choose "sign-out" > Tap "sign -in" > "use existing Apple ID" and you
      should be asked to verify your security code for the credit /debit card and NOT the
      security questions.
d. At this time you can remove the card by going back in to edit the payment info and
      selecting "none" as the card type then saving the changes by selecting "done". You
      should now be able to use your iTunes store credit without answering the security
      questions.
It's working for me ...I just have to put in my 3 digit security pin from the credit card I am using.
