Do not see created SC in check in tab of transport studio

Hi,
We have created a SC in SLD and created a track and added that SC in Track.
But when coming to the transport studio . Do not see the created sc , but can see the three dependent SCs as they are present in inbox.
we are in Netweaver2004s . OS : windows
any solutaion ?

Hi Kousik,
If I am not wrong then you have created SC in SLD and you wanted to start development under this SC, right?
You have not added this SC as dependant SC. It will show only dependant SCs in the check-in list. You have to import those SCs into Development to start working with this.
Try to import configuration from Developer studio. You will see your SC.
If my assumption is wrong please reply.

I'm trying to use iPhoto through iMovie, but it doesn't see iPhoto under the Media>Photos tab. It says "open iPhoto 2 or later to see photos from your iPhoto library in this list."
I have iPhoto 6.0.5 and iMovie 6.0.3, and even when I open iPhoto it doesn't recognize. Restarting computer didn't help.

I am having the same trouble with both iMovie and the new iTunes 7.
Here's a clue: We share our photos and songs and have relocated the photo library "Shared" and have set up an ACL. It has been working great, except iMovie seems to not understand it has moved. I can use iPhoto to create a new library in the user 'default' area, and iMovie sees it fine. But even if I switch libraries when starting iPhoto, iMovie can't find it, and there appears to be no way to browse for another iPhoto library.
iTunes 6 worked ok, but after downloading iTunes 7, I have the exact same problem.
Any ideas?

NWDI check-in of CMS transport studio has no entries

Hi,
I want to use the CMS to import existing packages in a new one. The sld and the Landscape Configurator are configured and the packages are in the inbox of the CMS. But there are no packages shown in the check-in table of the transport studio.
Have anyone had this problem before? Whats the reason?

We are facing the same problem, we don't find the MSS Package in the Transport Studio for check in. We did copy the .SCA file into the import folder of the Transport Studio.
Any help would be appreciated!

Not Possible Create Database Connection to Essbase From Web Analysis Studio

Hello
It is not possible to create a database connection to Essbase cluster from Web Analysis (WA) Studio. The following error message is displayed:
"Unable to retrieve the list of available databases"
And the detail:
[1033] Native: 1003 Error: Create connection failed [For input string:
[ApsServer=, OlapServer=[HOST];]]
Foundation Services, Agent, Financial Reporting and Web Analysis are enabled.
As additional information from EAS can seamlessly connect to Essbase server.
The EPM version is 11.1.2.2

Hi ,
For creating a WebAnalysis database connection, please make sure you do the following :
1. Verify if you have Essbase client installed on the WebAnalysis server.
2. Check if the path of adm drivers are mentioned in the system environment variable -> PATH entries.
3. Try giving the Essbase server name instead of the cluster name when attempting to create a connection.
4. The error 1003 means it doesnt seem to create a connection with the server and while attempting it fails.
Make sure you have all the parameters mentioned correctly in the server details.
To get detailed information on what is causing the problem, make sure you stop the WebAnalysis service and start it from console .

I can't see EP_BUILD in checkin tab in Transport Studio

I am setting up my NWDI environment for ESS/MSS. I have copied all the .sca files
SAPJEE12P_2-10003469.SCA
SAPBUILDT10_0-10003479.SCA
SAPESS09P_2-20000512.SCA
SAPJTECHS12P_2-10003467.SCA
SAPMSS09_0-20000503.SCA
SAPPCUIGP06P_1-20001215.SCA
EPBUILDT12_0-10003786.SCA
into CMS\inbox folder.
But I see all the files in the checkin tab except EPBUILDT12_0-10003786.SCA. Because of this my ESS and MSS sca file import into the repository fails. Can you please tell me how I can fix this.

sound like outdated SLD content. EP_BUILDT was introduced with 7.00, maybe you still have rather old data in your SLD? If you go to the SLD and search for "EP BUILD TOOL" is there a release 7.00 in your SLD?
The dependency should be defined in SLD and CMS should take data from there. So either your SLD content is outdated (see http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/2c/5f7ecd8ddc454ca86ff6e53919b0d1/frameset.htm ) or you should update the CMS data from SLD ( http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/37/fd454117acf423e10000000a155106/frameset.htm ).

I am developing an VISITOR Adobe Interactive Form, i have Designer 8.1 and Reader 9.0 in my Windows 7 Laptop. When i checked the menu EDIT-->form properties --> Compatability, its Adobe XML form File (XDP)
When i opened this VISITOR interactive form in a browser, right clicking and checked form PROPERTIES, then i saw the "PDF Version: 1.6 (Acrobat 7.x)"
I am trying to debug my Java script on a VISITOR interactive form, i found this link in google

Data element could not be created- error mesaage

hi all,
we are getting some wierd error when transporting to quality system. The transport for satrasfer structure datasource etc fails. The transfer structure does not get activated and we get following error message:
DD_DTEL_PUT: Act. parameter ROLLNAME=<space> invalid

if you check the infoobjects data element it is active in that system. And this is not getting solved even if you recollect the trasfer structure and transport it. We have to ask for reimport. But we dont understand why is this happening. We have got this error 4-5 times and only in this system.
Please suggest how to resolve this. if any setting or basis related configuration is missing or what could be issue.
Any help will be rewarded by points.

The problem is probably with the number range for transferstructure data elements.
Number range objects are maintained with transaction SNUM. BI_TSDTEL is
used for naming of transferstructure dataelements. The status must
always be bigger than the highest transferstructure dataelement number.

SAP-JEE, SAP_JTECHS, SAP_BUILDT not present in Check-In Tab for import

Platform :J2ee server 6.40 SP19 , <b>NWDI 7.0</b> , XSS 100 SP 16.
While creation of ESS/MSS track only 3 SCA(ESS/MSS/PCUI) file shows up in the Check In Tab , all the 3(SAP-JEE, SAP_JTECHS, SAP_BUILDT) remaining SAP support file is not present.
All 6 File is present in cms/inbox folder.
What is the reason for the file not showing up in the check in tab? Please let me know , some has a solution to it.

Let me add some more to your point, when you deploy these SCA file using SDM. The file system deployment will extract the contained Build Plugin SCAs into the directory /usr/sap/<instance name>/SYS/global/CMS_CBS/plugins. You can now copy the extracted files to the CMS Inbox.
If you directly copy these files to CMS/inbox then CMS wont recognize them, but once you deploy it,it does recognize them.

Manual journal entries created in Ap did not see in Accounts Payable Trial

Hi Experts,
Report Accounts Payables Trial Balance, with parameter Include SLA/Manuals/Other Sources Flag set to Yes, does not show manual journal entries.
These Manual journals entries are created in AP
Navigation: Payables -->Accounting --> Subledger accounting --> Journal Entries.
Ofter creating the journal entries i ran Accounts Payable Trial Balance, when i go through the output i did not see the Manual journal entries which are created in AP.
Please help me it is very urgent.

Pl check your 'Report Defintion' once to ensure that liability accounts that you are using in manual entries are included in report definition.

Checks not getting created VIA FPY1

Hello All,
I am trying to create checks using FPY1. Even though the entries to Customer contract accounts are being posted correctly there are no checks being created (I am not concerned about printing the checks). When I look at the posted document the check number field is blank. All through the FPY1 run there is no error in the logs. The client I am working in was recently copied over and as a result so did the payment medium do I have to create a new payment medium or does the payment medium that was copied over will do. I tried creating payment medium via FBPM but it does not show up in FPY1> Environment > Payment Medium >Payment Medium Variant. Please guide.

Hi Reena,
There are couple of things that needs to be checked, it is a configuration issue
check the below things before running the FPY1 again
1) Has check lots been configured
2) Is payment medium format ( check ) created
3) Is payment medium variant created (program SAPFKPY3)
If you have both the payment medium format and variant for it and then assign them in FPY1 and you should be able to see the check numbers.

I cannot reopen library. During opening aperture I can see a list of libraries. After selection "Aperture library.aplibrary" (default I guess) msg box is open
"Library info directory path contains a file where a folder was expected.
The Aperture Library could not be created at “/Volumes/Data/Aperture Library.aplibrary”. Check the path and try again."
Moreover, aperture library is not visible in other apps like Final Cut X Pro. I assume this is caused by the aperture problem.
Can anybody help me?

Sounds strange.
Did you try to double click your "Aperture Library.aplibrary"?
Maybe trying to open backuped library...
Or creating a new library by pressing the alt key when clicking on the Aperture Dock icon.

I can not testUser as it checks user in LH not in resource. I need to see if my user is existing in particular resource.
