Do skins for the 30gb work for the 80gb as well?

i am interested in this skin, but seeing as the products are made only for the 30gb 5th generation ipods, does anyone know if it could still possibly fit for the 80gb?

Sorry to say the 30 gig is slimmer than the 80 gig so it won't fit. That said skins do stretch - careful they also tear. There are many skins available for the 80 gig and skins that say 60 gig should work on 80 gig too. You can find list here

Sorry, I don't like "skins". They inhibit the heat transfer necessary to keep your MBA cool. Get a soft or hard case to store it when not in use. I like Speck products.
Just take care of it. Battle scars make it uniquely yours.

Bugs fixed:
SDK-19655 - Setting rowCount property on DataGrid causes extra blank row to be displayed
SDK-19652 - Items in a DataGrid do not line up after scrolling.
SDK-19605 - disabled Halo ColorPicker with Gumbo skin draws too dark
SDK-19596 - When you have a single button on an Alert, the left edge looks flatter than the right
SDK-19585 - Menus compiled with the halo theme in Flex 4 have a different backgroundColor than in Flex 3
SDK-19665 - Halo List with Gumbo skin doesnt draw the alternating item color all the way to the right edge of the control if VScrollBar is present

QA Notes: The alert layout code was positioning the buttons/text on sub-pixel boundaries if the width or height of the alert was an odd number of pixels. We always snap to pixel boundaries now, but this may cause bitmap compare issues with Alert.

Skins for the ipod menu

why does the iphone,ipod touch and some others have different backgrounds or skins for thier menus but the ipod nano does not,i have some friends who are really wantin skins for theirs, ask apple why we dont have them for our apps.

I just received a skin from Decal Girl. It covers the front and back, no sides, no screen, optional click wheel and button parts. It's pretty cheap ($7), and you can get a separate screen cover. I guess it's okay. The problem that others have mentioned, that I also noticed, is that the screen protector has a bit of a grayish haze and what appears to be like the 'noize' you get when you take digital photos in a dark place. So screen quality goes down a bit, which is a shame. If you are into design skins, though, the front and back pieces (that go over the white/black) may be worth it.

Can anyone recommend good clear skins for the iPod Nano 3G?

P.s. the skins that cover the wheel will that cause a problem with the response of the wheel? I have just adopted the Nano for the first time my previous ipod was the Shuffle!

I like hard cases for my iPods and so the one I have to recommend is a clear plastic hard case made by Agent 18. I had one for my previous iPod and I never got a scratch on the actual iPod. They make awesome cases for iPods and have fast shipping (the new 3rd gen isn't available in stores yet). Plus you don't have to put a film on your screen, the case covers the screen in hard plastic so you don't ever have to worry about screen scratches- I think the films can still get scratched if you bang it up enough because they are thin. Go for Agent 18!

How can I dsiable the skins for a Button?

I want to make a button without any skins. I know how to specify the skins for a button, but I don't see how to set them to null.

Basically, I just had

i'm not able to understand if HTMLElement is the right element to make html5 skin for my osmf player because there is not good documentation or example about HTMLElement and HTMLMediaContainer .
i'm not able to understand if i can "load" html element INSIDE flash player that can be used as skin, adding listener to click and so on.

I should correct that last entry and state that the | charactacters are generated automatically in the Toc-Path for each 'book' name in the online help, and are not something manually created, whereas the : characters have come from the TOC book topic names (which were manually entered names and are what we would ideally require). But, because 'previous' and 'next' topics within nested TOC books without colon (:) characters CAN be browsed successfully when just | characters are present in the Toc-Path, the limitation would appear to be solely due to the : characters.

I cannot choose the MX skin for the help

Hi,
I am in the process of testing RoboHelp8, and I am generating layers for some old projects.
Everything is OK till now, however for some reason, I cannot choose the MX skin for my Flash layer.
I used in the old projects the MX skin, however now when I try to select it, I press the OK button and nothing is happening.
I can select however any other skin. Only the MX does not want to select.
Did anybody met this issue till now?
