Do somebody has measured the impact of using bpel sensors?

Your customer request this information. I didn´t find anything at the internal bpel site. do performance docs to the theme sensors exists?

Sensor impact largely depends on
1. Publisher being used
2. Size of the sensor value (for variable sensors)
We have two kind of publishers, the custom and database publishers are
synchronous in nature. Means the BPEL process instance halts execution
until the sensor values are published (in case of DB until all the sensor values
are inserted into appropriate tables).
The JMS and BAM publishers are asynchronous, the impact on BPEL process
performance is minor, the sensor values are simply send to some queue/topic
which is inexpensive, the actual processing of the sensor values happens
afterwards.
If you want to track large amounts of data (using variable sensors) we generally discourage from using the database and custom publishers.
A better approach would be to use one of the JMS publishers and then do the actual processing of the sensor values in some MDB.

But for resetting the security questions, link is going to some other email id which is created by the other guy. Now the problem is that the other guy also can reset my password and access my account.
I contacted apple customer care and they are not ready to help me saying that I need to give information about the last device I logged in using this id. How can I give it when I did not create it?:) Also they are saying this account has been verified and that could happen only if someone has hacked my gmail account and verified the id using the link sent by apple.
Later I did some experiments and found that this is a security flaw from apple. Somebody has created the id and never used it(I tried to loggin to icloud and it was saying this account was not used it any apple device). The account became verified when I reset the password.(This is a bug, account should be verified only when we click on the verification link sent by apple).
The other mistake apple did is that they allotted my gmail account to someone before it's verified eventhough it cannot be used unless verified. Actually apple should allot the account id only after verifying the email address.
Apple customer care is not ready to help and I am tired of fighting with them. Can any of you guys suggest any means of getting back my gmail id to use it as apple id?

I don't think you're going to be able to. I would guess the other person used your address by accident, and when he found he couldn't access the account (because you'd changed the password) he abandoned it. Your GMail address is now locked to that account and even if it was changed you can't use it to create another.
You already have an Apple ID, which you use to log in here; you can use that to create an iCloud account if that's what you are trying to do. If you want to create a different Apple ID just get another free address such as a Yahoo one.

I need some help, somebody has turned the restrictions on on my daughters iPad mini and we don't know the pass code to turn it off. She has lost the iTunes icon because of this. Anybody know what to do? Thanks

I have tried backing it up to a laptop and then restoring it to factory settings but you need the pass code to do this....any ideas how I can turn it off or reset it, anything that might help its driving me potty...

Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button.
5. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad. Data will be lost.

Measuring the mechanical response using SoundVib Assistant

I am trying to measure the response of an object when subjected to a "strike". I think it's when you tap something, and you measure the response of the object to obtain the resonant frequency.
I have available: NI 9233 module with a PCB triaxial accelerometer. An impacting hammer with a PCB force transducer can't remember the model but it provides mv/LB force.
I am a little confused as to how to approach this problem. I thought that I would put the force transducer on the hammer, put the triaxial accelerometer on the DUT, and hit it.
I'm using Signal Express, Sound and Vibration Assistant, and I have Labview 8.61 with the latest Sound and Vib Suite. To keep it simple I'd prefer to use Signal Express or Sound/Vib assistant.
I set up the program to capture data for one second. I used "Frequency Response" and put the force transducer as the stimulus and the remaining three channels of acceleration as the response.
I'm not sure if what I'm doing is even valid. Can I combine a measurement of force with acceleration in the Frequency Response object?
Does anyone have any tips? As stated earlier, I simply want to measure the resonant frequency of an object by hitting it. I have been told this is a method but I really am having trouble understanding.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

It is fairly easy to do what you would like to do. In SignalExpress, set up the 9233 to trigger on an appropriate level of your input signal. The input should looking like a decaying sinusoid (or could be quite a bit more interesting if you have a lot of harmonics). Make sure you are taking enough data to get at least ten cycles of your resonant frequency. If you wish, you can take far more data than you need and use the Subset and Resample step to take out the piece you want. Use the Power Spectrum step on the output to generate a plot of the resonant frequencies. Use Peak Search on the output of the Power Spectrum to generate a list of the resonant frequencies.

How to measure the phase shift using AC analysis?

Hi,
I have a simple RLC circuit consisting of no more than 4 components. If i hook up the network analyser function to the circuit and read the S11 values, i can see a change in the input impedance and a phase shift when i run it across a range of frequencies.
I am trying to do the same with the AC analysis tool. I've placed a probe on the positive input line. Using the AC analysis i've obtained the input impedance by using the expression mag(V(Probe1))/mag(I(Probe1)). Everything looks fine but i just can't seem to obtain the correct expression to gain the phase shift. All of the values i get out seem to flat line.
It would be great help if someone could point me in the right direction, as i'm running out of ideas.

You need to measure the voltage phase difference over a load as the voltage source is ideal so will always be in phase.

The impact to use line item dimension

Hi,guys,
I have a question here:
When modeling a cube,we can use the line item dimesion to improve the reading performance in some cases.for example when we use SD doc. characteristic as a line item dimesion.
But what I wonder is there any limitation or impact when we use this function? What about if I click this function even for a casual characteristic like bussiness area or something? Is that useful to improve performance or impact vice versa?

The Infocube has extended star shema structure, i.e fact table contains Key figures & Dimentions, so characteristics is link with SID (Surrogate ID) to dimention table for faster access the data. These SID is further link with ur Master Data.
In this case dimension tables are eliminated and characteristics infoobjects SID is directly written in the fact table insted of dimension id so it will improve the performance.
SAP recommends that you use ODS objects, where possible, instead of InfoCubes for line items
If you are looking at better query performance and you have less than 13 chars. in ur datamodel, then you can place them individually in each dimension. make the dimensions as line item Dim .
In this case Line item IC is better than ODS.
but if you are having many data fields and you want to report on lowest granularity of data, then ODS is better option.
For Example :
Line item dimension for Order or Order item contains huge data, same as fact table. two huge table joins creates performance issues.
So SAP suggests, ODS reporting is good for Order level reporting then Line item dimensions.
Advantages of Line item :
Line item dimension is used to improve queryperformance.
Instead of joining fact table to dimension reduce joints
Disadvantages of line item :
A dimension marked as a line item cannot subsequently include additional characteristics.

What is the impact of using a variant data type on performance, speed memory demands etc?

This is another one of my "lets get this settled once and for all" threads.
I have avoided variant data types whenever possible to keep the performance of my apps up. From some observatsions i have made over the years, I am of the opinion that;
1) In-place operations can not be carried out on variants.
2) Passing a variant to a sub-VI (regardless of the terminal on the icon connector) are always copied.
I would like confirmation or correction of the above so we know more about this animal we call LabVIEW.

A couple notes:
1. You can use the To/From Variant nodes for the Inplace Element Structure to operate inplace on the contained variant data. This should work just fine even if you have a big 2D array contained.
2. Variants are incredibly useful when you use them for Variant Attributes, rather than just storing data. The Variant Attribute implementation uses a binary tree to store the key value pairs, which provides quick insertion and lookup.
3. I don't work on the internals of LV, but I see no reason whatsoever that passing a variant into a subVI would always necessitate a copy. I could be wrong, but that sounds very odd to me.
However, I have generally started trending towards using flattened strings. Flattened strings are generally more efficient memory-wise, because they don't contain all the type descriptor information, just the raw data. (I think there's some exception when flattening LV Classes.) Variants always store the type descriptor, so even an empty variant can take up a bit of memory.
Variants received a big performance boost from 7.x to 8.x. They used to have a bad reputation, but I wouldn't be afraid to use them where applicable. I personally don't see a lot of benefits over flattened strings, though, except in the case of tools like the OpenG Variant INI files, which can dynamically parse out and construct variant types.

I have an original iPad and downloaded the new operating system. Now' I cannot write on my Contacts or Calendar apps, and my Pages app (purchased) has lost the ability to use the bold, underline, and italics functions. Does anyone know how to fix these

No, it stays with the current OS (iOS5 in this case) - Apple doesn't allow downgrading iOS
If you are syncing to a desktop, you shoudln't lose anything. If you aren't syncing, then that's the first thing you should do, to protect contacts etc.
the other thing is, when the iPad is connected to iTunes, right-click its name in the Devices list and choose Back Up.
That way, when yoiu do the restore, everything should come back as was.

My opatical equipment measures the brightness with using the parallel port.

If Adobe has disabled the ability to use Lightroom 5.7 to view the images in the external harddrive, how does one view the images in the file on the external drive without bringing them back to the Lightroom Library?

Jpeg images dragged over from Photoshop are veiwable as thumbnails on the external harddrive. However images brought over as RAW of DNG are not viewable. Is there anyway to view these type images on the external harddrive? It would be nice to have a glimpse of what you are bringing into Lightroom by just looking on the external harddrive as you can with the jpegs.

From the Library simply click the import button and navigate to your folder on the ehd. Choose the folder and click Add at the top of the dialog. You should see thumbnail previews in the import dialog where you can select what to import.

Does somebody has a driver for canon IP4600 series which works on OS X Mavericks?

Everytime I try to use my Printer apple tries to configurate first. After waiting some time they are telling me that the software-website is not online at the moment.

What are the rules for using ILife sound effects, jingles, in video projects?

I used a musical track from my iLife musical library in FCPX and when I posted the video on YouTube it was claimed by a third party. The track is called "Elysium". So are the music and sound libraries free from copyright claim?

That's the rub. Everybody has the impression they can use Apple Loops as if they're open source or public domain... They are so not. They are free from royalties! That's a completely different thing.
You do have the right to use those "jingles" in your video works for free. You do need to give credit to the third party contributors of content you've used in your videos.
I find that placing a credit *in your video* like:
Music: Elysium by Apple, Inc. Used with (or by) permission.
or
Music: Elysium licensed by Apple, Inc.
helps out considerably.
(All of the iLife Jingles are credited to Apple, Inc.)
(You can use any kind of formatting you like for displaying credits -- you can make it an interesting part of your video as done in some higher end movies, etc.)
YouTube needs to cover their a**. Your videos need to have a little professionalism added to them (credits are de rigueur [good etiquette, and expected.]) I'm pretty sure that YouTube puts human eyes on every upload. I place credits at the very beginning and the videos usually "clear" rather quickly.
One of the problems with using "Apple Loops" is that somebody has already beat you to using them. Content matches cover everything. I've had content matches against people who have actually violated the end user agreement for using the loops (there's a clause that basically states that loops shall not be made available to the public in their entirety without modification.) It's okay to use loops in a derivative type setting (something is added to the soundtrack with the music to make it "changed".) [I don't think Apple pushes the point... but others might.]
YouTube doesn't really care what you use. They just need to make sure their liability is zero. Credit everything. Be truthful (you've got to cover your own a** as well.) If you don't have permission to use something... DON'T!
YouTube has an Audio Library of free content you can use (without credit! — but give the credit anyway [professionalism]) in their content Creation Tools section located at the bottom of the left column of your Account pages (Video Manager, Dashboard, etc.) It's a pretty decent selection of music... you should check it out.

TIPS first things have i should do for my stolen ipad:
- make police reporting
- send message and check ipad location on find my ipad/iphone (mobileme.com) follow all directions
- and remote lock or wipe ( but check and make sure that available to you to restore on new ipad before you wipe)

What is the benefit of Using Data Adaptor

I wonder that What is the benefit of Using Data Adaptor ? I don't know TopLink Technology , inorder to using Data Adaptor I should know toplink but what is the advatages of using BPEL database adaptors in conditions thet I can make webservices by making plsql web services or exposing ADF application modules more easier?
I think that if I use Data Adaptor (based of Toplink) I can use JTA feature for transaction managment , am I thinking Correct?
for example I can invoke to webservice A and the B in BPEL process with two DB adaptores (by global transaction ) such that if A failes the process automatically roles back the B transaction without need that I manauly compensate the undo process
please help me ?

Has anyone seen their iPads using your wifi non-stop, even if you are not using it, even when it's closed with the smart cover?

Lately my internet usage is up to the roof. I though somebody was hacking my wireless router so I made it super safe with lots of restrictions.
But that didn't stop the download of stuff over my wireless network. When I monitor who or what is using my wirelss, only my iPad was on, so, the moment I turn the wifi off on my ipad, the download stop. Turn it back on, it goes like crazy sucking up data off my wireless router for no reason. There is no indicator that the iPad is using the wireless yet, it is my iPad downloading things that I can't even seen, it does even with smart cover on!!!!. It's been over 50GB in only three days. I don't even have that amount of data on iCloud. This began a few days later after I upgraded my iOS to 6. But also, I'm thinking it could be an app that I installed. Or is it possible someone can use my iPad as a middle point to access my router and steal my internet. I have restored the OS on the iPad and it keeps doing it. Anyone has experienced something similar?

I'm going to guess that your battery life is also not so hot. What I suspect is happening is thatbthe pad is locked into an update loop with I cloud. As an example, if you have addresses that do not agree, the cloud back up will continue to try and correct itself, using both battery and wifi ( or cell). It may also be an app trying to uzpdate itself.
To troubleshot, try turning thigs off. If you are using the cloud, turn off all syncing and see it the problem stops. Then turn them back on, one by one, until you find the culprit. If it is an app, it may be harder to find, but the steps are the same. Turn off all notifications, and uninstall anything you added around the time the problem started.
A frequent culprit is magazine, comic, and newspaper subscriptions, that are constantly trying to update themselves.
Keep looking, you will find it.
