Do someone have the 14cn39WW bios version for S10?
In the forum, I have heard that S10 has the newest bios version --14cn39WW and this version is said to making the Fan quiet.
but I can't find it on the official site of Lenovo.Can someone upload it in the forum ?

The way how to back up the bios :
Install the 14cn38WW.exe which can be download from the Lenovo side. then run the winPhlalsh.exe ,choose the button "backup bios only"....

This is very easy you have to access the BIOS and then you could see the BIOS version.
To access the BIOS you have to press the F2 button immediately after notebook was started.

Satellite X200-1AA - After recovery I have the previous BIOS version?
I recently updated the BIOS of my Toshiba Satellite X200 1AA with Windows Vista SP!. After a few days, I made a product recovery using the recovery CD. When the recovery is made, does the BIOS return to the previous version?

No, the BIOS dont return to the previous version. The Toshiba recovery disk contains the factory settings of the software on your notebook and not the BIOS. The BIOS has nothing to do with the software on your notebook.
So dont worry, the recovery disk doesnt touch the BIOS and you have still the new version.

I updated iTunes to 10.4 version and now it doesn't start and send a messages "iTunes has detected an error and must be closed". Someone have the same problem and how can we repair our installation insted of change the windows XP installation? Best regards
Only way to get iMac starting again was to re-install 10.4.4 from DVD, and then update it into 10.4.6. For a while it worked perfectly, just as before.
Then I tried to print to CD with my EPSON Stylus Photo 950 from Adobe Photoshop Elements (2.0). It didn't print anything, but printer started flashing all lights. The print job was not performed, so I did remove it from the Printer Utility. After that the iMac started "ticking" again, same noise than before, after 10.4.7 installation. I did re-boot iMac. It never started, it does stuck on gray screen (gray block running clockwise). HW test from DVD didn't find any problems (extended search looping 3 times). But Disk Utility found hard drive to have inaccurate node structure, it could not fix it.
Apple support recommended to use DiskWarrior. However, it does not support (yet) Intel Macs. I haven't got TechTool Pro 4.5.1 anywhere. iMac does start on to FireWire mode (T at boot), but I cannot see the disk from 10.2.8 iMac.
So, obvisously the problem is not 10.4.7. I believe it to be ESPON printer driver compatibility on Mac OSX. This does not suprise me, EPSON printers *****, I shall never purchase one again. However, disk catalog structure should not get messed by one faulty printer driver! -
My phone is not showing up in itunes. I want to sync it. I have a MAC and I have restarted the phone, it's charged, I have the most current version of itunes. What do I do now? It says to reinstall itunes if you have windows but not for mac. Help!
With your phone plugged in, open Image Capture and see if the iPhone shows up. If not, you are having a sync problem. If it shows up in Image Capture, but not iTunes, I'd delete iTunes and reinstall it.

You have OS X Lion. OS X Mountain Lion is compatible with Mid 2007 (iMac7,1 or newer) iMacs, so to check that you have a compatible Mac, press , hold the Option (Alt) key and open System Information. Then, check Model Identifier. Also, the App Store will tell you if your iMac is supported when you try to purchase OS X Mountain Lion, so you can skip this step.
While it's being downloaded, make a backup of your files with Time Machine and check that your applications are supported > http://www.roaringapps.com
When the download finishes, the OS X Mountain Lion installer will appear, so follow the steps. You will be running OS X 10.8.4 -
Help: I have recently downloaded the newest software version for apple products. I have a iPod touch. After the process of updating my software, my photo app doesn't work anymore. I can't take pictures or view them at all. Every time I try opening the app it kicks me out of it and sends me to the home screen. I have tried turning off my iPod and back on multiple times. Even double tapping the home screen button and closing my opened apps. And I tried looking for the photo app in the app store but I did not see it. So I am wondering what can I do? And is this due to the new software update? Does anyone else have this problem?
No, I have not tried any backup tools. I havent restored my ipod back to factory settings yet and then sync everything back on it. I am kind of scared too because I dont want to lose anything. I have just been hoping some new apple software update will come out because I know several people have had problems when updating to the newest version available.

I have an iPod touch. When I try to download an app, it says I need to update the device's software to access the iTunes store. But, when i connect to iTunes, it says I have the most current version. I'm stuck. My mother got this iPod as free-with-purchase when she bought her desktop. She used it, then gave it to me. When the new BIOS update is realised the old one will not be available for download.
If you need older version contact nearest authorized service provider.
They must have it. Be cool and talk with them. Maybe they can send it to you per mail. -

Update bios only if necessary. You may use the version in this page for your Type 4446 machine.

I had the worst Winchester ever - 3500+, 0437 VPMW, batch#0015, and it couldn't get out of it's own way. It needed 1.52v just for a 200Mhz OC - pathetic. Highest benchable speed was about 2675Mhz, with 1.68v...After getting frustrated enough to do something about, I decided on the 3000+ Venice. All I can say is this &%@#!!* thing is fast! I didn't think I was in for this big of a boost, but I can ride this puppy to 2500Mhz with stock vcore of 1.35 and take it to 2750Mhz totally Prime stable with 1.552v. The dfference is incredible, and not just in benchmarks and games- it just feels faster all around. I was lucky and got a decent OC'er, and the Neo2 helps too -

How can I tell if I have the right restore disks for Intel Mac Mini
I have an "early 2006" (confirmed by S/N YM609***) Intel Mac Mini 1.66mhz Core Duo. I bought it used and the hard drive had been wiped. Both the HD and the DVD drive seem to work fine; hard drive passes SMART tests. I was able to boot using "Drive Genius" and can access the pre-install items like Disk Utility (and know that I need to use GUID formatting to create a bootable disk). Not knowing I could order restore disks from Apple I bought a set on eBay, p/n AHT VERSION 3A102 DISC VERSION 1.1 2Z691-5828-A, copyright 2006 on disks and included documentation (OS 10.4.6), but the install always fails 10-15 minutes along. I got the same results when trying to install via internal optical drive to a FW or USB external HD (told it to use GUID for the external HD), or external FW optical drive both to internal HD and to external USB hard drive. A friend tried to install full retail versions of 10.5 and even 10.6 for diagnostic purposes, using the built in HD and DVD drives, but those installs did not complete either; they did not try external drives. Is that the wrong restore version for this model, or even if the right "generation", does a set of restore disks only work with the specific Mac mini they were issued for like for example XP restore disks would? I've been told I can provide my s/n to Apple and for about $30 they will send me the "right" restore disks... anyone know anything about this? Could there be a hardware/firmware explanation for why the install fails like that? PS ran the extended version of the Apple Hardware Test with that restore disk set and it reported "no problems."
<Edited by Host>Thanks. Actually I got the Mini from a computer recycling company I work with so I knew it might have problems and that I was taking an "as-is" risk. If the original disks were turned in with it, they'd been lost (that outfit took in huge piles of stuff every day; it was often luck of the draw for me to find something before it would be buried, damaged, etc., and not everyone who worked there had any idea of the possible value of things they received) for me to find things. The disks I got on eBay apparently were separated from the mini they'd been packaged for. An Apple Store rep said I could order restore direct from Apple just by providing my serial number; just wish I'd known that before I went to eBay. Since posting this I've seen another seller specifically claiming that the same-part-numbered-as-mine disc set they are selling will work with my specific type of Mac mini. I have an appointment tomorrow morning at the Genius Bar at an Apple store near me in case they have more suggestions. Will share what I know as things develop.

If you had iPhoto version 9.5.1 then you can reinstall from the app store under purchases
If you had any version of iPhoto '11 then you can install for free from the App store
If you had any earlier version of iPhoto (iPhoto '09 version 8.x.x) or older then you need to purchase iPhoto '11 version 9.x.x from the app store
If you had iPhoto '08 (version 7.x.x) or older then you also need to download and run the iPhoto library upgraded prior to launching the new iPhoto
