Do stage text always have to be layered on the top?

Hi all,
im in an Air project and i need to uses graphics, movieclips etc to be layered over the actual stage text so it will partly cover the stage text. I have not succeded yet, as stage text always are on top.
Is it a way to code special graphic elements to so they will cover stage text?

According to Stage Text documentation :
StageText - Adobe ActionScript® 3 (AS3 ) API Reference
When native inputs are used, StageText objects are not display objects and you cannot add them to the Flash display list. Instead, you display a StageText object by attaching it directly to a stage using the stage property. The StageText instance attached to a stage is displayed on top of any Flash display objects. You control the size and position of the rendering area with the viewPort property. There is no way to control depth ordering of different StageText objects. Overlapping two instances is not recommended.
So, according to current implementation, it will not be possible to overlay other Flash Display Objects over Stage text. Will update you if I come to know about some way or workaround.

For what it's worth, you posted this in 2011, and here in 2014 I am still having this same issue. Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices.
That all works.
It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now. They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.

I have a clicking noise at the top left on my ipod screen

i have an ipod touch 5th generation (ios 7.0.3) it is 32 gb and it is still in warranty i have a clicking noise in the top left of my screen does that matter. it has been in its case for a long time and hasnt been scratched or damaged.thx for awnsering my question.

On the 5G iPod and iPhone 5 the rear camera lens moves to focus and is lightly suspended so it can move. The noise you hear may be the lens moving. It is normal and expected.

That icon indicates your iPhone is rotation locked.
To remove it, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open Control Center. Tap the similar looking icon there to turn it off.

I can't edit my donwloads. The organizer photos have an orange icon at the top left corner and the find offline volumem - edit pops up when I try to edit the pictures. Also, the downloaded pictures don't show up in "My Pictures" document.

At first read, I also thought it sounded a bit snide. Who here has read the entire manual before going to the web for a quick search? (Not me, and in fact, I found my answer - to this very question, by reading this post WAY faster than if I had read the manual. What is so wrong with that?)
That is the beauty of having support forums. If it is a bother to answer, without being snide, one is not obligated to do so. And my apologies if he was not being snide... but there maybe a better way to point out the manual, such as "I have included a link to the searchable manual which may be of assistance to you next time you are puzzled by your iPhone's behaviour".

Have you spoken to whoever replaced the superdrive? Why not take it back there?

App closes after share and always have to upgrade then rebuild the library

I am having trouble sharing photos through iPhoto. It seems to crash when ever I try to share via email, facebook etc.
I also have an issue when opening the app, it says there is an upgrade, when I select yes, it then tells me there are in consistancies and begins to rebuild the library before opening.
Would love to fix this issue

Remember: we cannot see your machine. There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 8 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Basic things like :
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For instance: 'iPhoto won't export' is best explained by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted?
- Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.

When I open another window the cursor defaults to the bottom of the page instead of the top why and how can I fix it? It is a pain to have to keep scrolling to the top all the time. This does not happen with Chrome or IE.

I can send you a screen shot if that would be helpful.
I have noticed that the emails sent out of S1 always default to the end
of the message so we need to scroll up to edit what we've written. Most
of the time I need to edit the text near the top of an email so although
it is a very minor thing, it is a bit irritating.

In Firefox 4 the cursor is placed automatically at the end of a text area. 
Easiest to go to the top is by using Ctrl+Home

None are necessary but fit neatly under the heading, "Just because you can does not mean you should." which programmers seem to disregard at will. Is there some way for me to maintain (re-establish) my possession of my desktop when visiting sites? These stupid and obstructive are unneeded and Mozilla ought to be ashamed that I am looking at "Mozilla support" at the upper left of my desktop, yes, I know I am in Mozilla support and haven't forgotten it since I got here, and "ÏNBOX" "Search Mozilla Support" at the upper right of my desktop. It's orientation lock. Double tap the home button, swipe left to right, far left is the orientation lock. Tap on/off. Tap home button when finished.

I need to add a website to the sites which are allowed to install add-ons & have instructions to do so but do not have a yellow bar across the top of my screen in order to click on "Edit Options."

I tried to install an update for Adobe Reader but Mozilla Firefox will not install it until I add them to the Allowed List. The first step is to click on "Edit Options" in the yellow bar across the top, but i don't have a yellow bar or actually anything that says Edit Options.

The instructions on the Adobe site are outdated and do no longer apply to current Firefox versions and you can ignore those instructions and save the Adobe installer to your desktop and start the installation with a double-click on that file.
