Do the installation DVD's get updated?

I am looking to upgrade from Tiger to Leopard, I know when you install Leopard you have to download 10.5.2, I just wanted to know if it i worth buying the disk now, or waiting until Apple release a new set of installation DVD's which have the latest updates on?
I don't even know if they release new DVD's though?

I doubt a 10.5.2 retail disk will be available any time soon. The seed just got released to developers on February 6th and to the public February 11. It also costs Apple way too much to reburn all those disks when there are already 10.5's still available. The only time I could see them having 10.5.x at their stores is when it is included with their new hardware. I believe 10.5.1 was included with the new MacBook Air's. If I was you, just do a fresh install of 10.5 and apply the 10.5.2 combo update. I've updated 19 machines this past week and haven't had a single problem.

Boot off your *original* Install Disk while holding down the *d key*, (not c key), then run the extended Apple Hardware Test. Some disks require you to use the Option key at bootup to select AHT. Some models have a separate AHT CD. Some have it on the Disc #2.
The Memory test can really only be trusted if it finds a problem, not if it doesn't find a problem.

How to format HDD and reinstall OS on macbook pro mid 2010 without the installation DVD.

After updated the OS with MAVERICKS becomme my macbook very slow. So I want to format the HDD and reinstall the OS but without the installation DVD - (lost).
Could some one advise me how to proceed? Thank you

OS X Lion and newer include OS X Recovery to reinstall Mac OS X without the need of a DVD. See > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4718
First of all, copy your most important files to an external drive, or make a backup of your files. Then, hold Command and R keys while your Mac is starting, open Disk Utility and erase Macintosh HD by choosing it in the Disk Utility's sidebar and going to Erase tab.
Finally, close Disk Utility and reinstall OS X

The currency is not getting updated in the table VBAP

The currency is not getting updated in the table VBAP. The currency was suppossed to be copied from the header table VBAK for a Sales Order. When the user creating a Sales Order the currency WAERK is not shown in VBAP table. VBAK-WAERk is in EUR . Does anyone know why is this happenning?
Currency is maintained in the Customer Master, Material Master and Sales Org. Any suggestions?.
Also it is happened for only one line item in a set of line items , Other line items did display the currency field.
The net Value has data in it .
The system is ECC 5.0

Dear Senthil,
Please apply the following notes (if they apply to your support pack level) and retest:
1460621 VBAP-WAERK is deleted after the sold-to party is changed
1426441 VBAP-WAERK deleted for subitems
1493998 VBAP-WAERK deleted for subitems
This should resolve the issue. I hope this helps.

Similar problem just happened to me with the Creative Cloud Update 1.7.1.418—slightly different so I thought I'd share. I have multiple Adobe Creative Cloud programs installed on my computer, all working just fine. I updated the Cloud App to the latest version and then it shows me that I have only one program installed! All my previously installed programs (Photoshop and the like) still work but show as "install" instead of "Up to date". Initially I thought I'd have to re-install the Cloud app or recreate the OPM data base but then I noticed that some of the Cloud app preferences (Apps > Settings > App Language) were different to what I had set previously. I use English (International) language, the update had reverted the app back to English (North American). I flicked back to my previous language and bam, all my apps now show as being installed correctly.

Hi Gary. Extensions have to be written for the specific Photoshop versions they are designed to run on.and definitely don't all run on every version of Photoshop. You'd think that you'd be OK with that message, but it might be that it works fine on CS6 (13) but not on CC (14).
But it could be an error.
What is the extension you are trying to install? Is Photoshop, and Extension Manager fully up to date? If you are sure that the extension runs on CC, I'd try un installing, and reinstalling the Extension Manager. I have had to exactly that a while back.

You should not install it again..
Boot the computer into safe mode and try the uninstall again.
No luck you will have to manually uninstall which is a pain. Delete the files and open regedit and delete the registry entries.. better still use the system restore to go back to a previous system where you had no 4.2 installed..
Or just ignore it and install the latest 5.6.1 and if it gives trouble well do a clean install of windows.

Whether the table 'B' will get update

Hi Guys,
In forms 6i , i have code like, when hitting the save button, on-insert trigger in block 'A' should insert data into table 'A' and the same time on-insert trigger in block 'B' should update data in table 'B' . The question is whether the table 'B' will get update, if any exception occured in table 'A' through any database trigger on table 'A'. there is no rollback on block 'B' , but exception is handling in blcok 'A'.
please help me.

You Need to define seperate session by using autonomous transactions,it allows you to leave the context of the calling transaction, perform an independant transaction, and return to the calling transaction without affecting it's state.

Why my DVD does not read the installation DVD?

My MacBook's DVDROM recently behaves differently. It still plays regular DVDs and CDs, but is unable to recognize its original installation DVDs. However, I can attach an external DVDROM to my MacBook, which can recognize the installation DVDs. What is wrong with the MacBook DVDROM?
I greatly appreciate your help.

Since DL is built into the hardware, there's little you can do if your drive doesn't have it. Other than buying an external drive that does.
To check your drive, click the  icon in the menubar and select "about this Mac".
In the screen that appears, click "more info". In the next screen look under "hardware" and click "disc burning". This should show your drives capabilites. Look for -R DL or +R DL.

On reversal of Invoice the table BKPF not getting updated properly

I have an issue, that when we create the Commercial Invoice, accounting document generated automatically. And after that due to some reason when we reverse the same through VF11, the accounting document which was created while doing the invoicing not getting updated by "reversed with (STBLG)" field and "reversal Indicator (XREVERSAL) field in the table BKPF.
However when I test the some scenario in Development and Quality server the same field is getting updated.
I have already checked the Billing Document Type of SD and accounting document type but found everything in place.
I am unable to get what is missing,and why this is happening in Production server only.
Need your input at the earliest.

This is standard system behaviour.
BKPF-XREVERSAL is only populated/filled in the reversed original
and in the reversal FI document if BKPF-STBLG and BKPF-STJAH
are populated/filled in reversed original and reversal FI document.
BKPF-STBLG and BKPF-STJAH are only populated/filled in reversed
original and reversal FI document if the new/real cancellation
procedure (-> with automatic clearing of the open items) is executed,
and the new/real cancellation procedure is not executed, if an
open item of the original, to be reversed FI document, has already
been cleared (-> also see note 309208).

I have installed Logic Pro and t seems to have wreitten over my GArageband 09 functions. when i try to reinstall Garageband alone from the bundle on teh installation DVD it wont let me check OR uncheck the Garageband box (stage 4 in Apple's isntructions above) . It does let me check teh other boxes for iPhoto etc.
Do i need to reinstall teh complete bundle for iLIfe 09? Will this mean I lose any of my material? eg photos in iphoto or clips in imovie?

Problems downloading the new DVD Studio Pro update.

Hi Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem/message when trying to download the new DVDSP update?;
'You appear to have already downloaded the DVD Studio Pro update.'
This also happened on the last updates that were released.
There is a workaround that I know of that I had to use last time but it seems strange that this is occuring. Has anyone else had any issues with this update (or the last for that matter)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as Apple Tech would not help me because I am on a Volume Licence and the Apple Store that I purchased it through has not given me any help.

I can get around this problem by using software update to download the updates and then use the downloaded file to update the machines but I would really like the ability to download the updates as a standalone dmg file.
I am running 20 systems on an airport network that will freeze up if I do the updates online the best i can do is 3 at once to avoid serious lag.
Being able to download them seperately was always my first choice so i could update the machines regardless of being conected to the net or not. The workaround that I am using only downloads the package file and it seems there is the possibility of them being corrupted or damaged over time (moving from server to drives to media to computers etc).
I still want to know why it thinks I have downloaded them already, it doesn't make any sense.
