Do they have a calendar for anniversaries like birthdays that get info from Address Book? I would be very effective. I wold not like to have to enter all the info over again.

I purchased an iphone 4 from a friend, i somehow cleared it and it's now at the original activation screen, i have spoken to the carrier and they have unlocked it for me. Once the carrier unlock details get sent to apple, will i be able to use any carrier sim card to activate the iphone? currently when i connect to itunes it says the sim is not the original one and i need to insert the original sim... will this happen now that it has been carrier unlocked? i have been told the unlocking can take between 5 and 72 hours, do i just keep trying with itunes or do i have to do something different?
This is a christmas present for my son and i am running out of time, i'm not in an area that i can just go into an apple store and ask, i'm currently overseas in a very poor country and there are not many iphones that i have seen here so your help would really be appreciated.

I would guess the fan is the cause of the noise. Suggest you take a look at it.

Me again, I have a process it's been running for a while with 18 other partner. We started (at the request of the partner) without 997 (when I started this I knew nothing of BT/EDI, I still know pretty much the same).
A new partner demanded 997's, so I switched the checkbox on the party and it generates the 997 when a 944/945 is received but the problem is that they send everything from one /outbound/ folder in which are also sitting 997's they are sending me for 856/940's
that I sent previously to an /inbound/ folder.
Please point me to some link that talks about this????

that part is fine, I pick up a 944 and generate a 997 ... perfect .... only that 997's and 856's and 940's I send to an /inbound/ folder - I pickup 944's and 945's from an /outbound/ folder (at the van) ...
The partner, when they pickup their 856's and 940's from the /inbound/ folder send a 997 in the outbound folder,
so, when I am picking up 944's and 945's there are also 997's from the inbound process ... this is the punchline ... those 997's generate more 997's to be sent back to the partner and here I give up, I am going to have to strip 997's from the transmission
before they get to my 944/945 process.

If it was jailbroken, contact the developers of the jailbreak.
Not all jailbreaks can be completely removed.

Iphone 5 power button not working!! They have replacement program for months but why they dont email you and say it??

I have had iphone 5 and have never been happy and i think apple is not leading the technology and future of market anymore as they are lowering quality of their products(even hardware). I had to change first iphone 5 i had because of wireless issues and then i had battery problem and had to charge 3 times a day and finally after 2 years i bought they decided that its faulty and they decide to change it. Luckily enough i read it on an online tech magazine and after googling i see that they have had replacement for power button as well which i am eligible for as well!! i go to genius bar and they replace battery but they dont replace power button cause they examine it and passes till the audio dock test! It connects to charder dock or cable but it doest to audio test dock and he says one off the pins inside is not right but it charges perfectly with every cable in the store!! And i tell him that they have to change power button not the charging pin cause it doesnt make sense!! Its a faulty product and maybe if they emailed and said it nearly a year ago my pin was right then!! so i think they found a silly reason not to change it and so i am struggling with that phone and brand that i hate(once i used to love)!

Apps are permanently tied to the ID used to purchase them.
Go to https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/ and re-set th password for the old one.
Then, log into the app store with it and update the apps purchased with that ID.

When you hooked up to your PC did they attempt to import? Had you imported them previously and not deleted when the import was complete?
If you have to delete them directly on your device, you need to press the select button and just keep selecting until you have all of them selected, then put them in the trash.
You do not need to select one then trash it, then select another then trash it. You can select as many as you like before clicking on the trash icon.

Hrm... that may be true and this may be a function of the phone email client that Apple just doesn't do.
No, I can easily MANUALLY delete the messages. I would prefer if I didn't have to do it twice, tho. Once on the mail server and once on the phone.
What I think the phone needs to do is, when it checks the POP, anything NOT there should be removed locally. I think you are correct on POP; the phone will poll the mx (mail exchanger) and the mx will pass off the messages to the phone. The phone then keeps ALL of that unitl you manually delete it.
If, say, I remove a message from the mx, I would like the phone, when next polls, to see that that particular message isn't on the server anymore and remove it locally.
Perhaps it's just me but if I delete the message on the mx itself, via my ISP's webmail interface, I really don't want to have to remove it again from my phone.

Find an app you like. Contact the developer of that app and see if they are interested.

Besides the ethical and professional issues involved, the iPad appears to be linked to a different iTunes account than your personal one. Applications are tied to the account, not the device - so if you were able to use your personal account to install the apps in question, you'd be wiping out all the ones your employer put on.
If you feel these apps are necessary for your work, then talk to your supervisor/tech department about them purchasing additional copies for use on the iPad.

There is no such Trojan or other malware known today that will do that using OS X nor has there ever been one. The most probable explanation is that somebody hacked into your e-mail account on the server, so you should change that password to something stronger right away. If it had come from your Mac then there would almost certainly be copies of those messages in your Sent Mail mailbox.
