Should we have a FAQ area for forums

My main area of interest is SAP Finance.
I review the forums to answer unaswered questions.
The one thing I have noticed more and more is the same questions keep on getting asked by different users.
The Finance forum has ten's of thousand's of threads, and I am sure 80% of them are duplicates of other threads.
If we reduced the duplicates we could then focus on the real questions and threads that are for new material.
What do you guys think?

Hope all is well. As you know I have been promoting such community regeneration and igniting some passion for true collaboration throughout scn..
My thinking on this is as follows:
We need true collaboration and integration between WIKI and Forums and to change the thinking that they are two seperate etities that need to be addressed seperately.
My proposel is when a customer views the WIKI content such as for example 'What is a Cost Center' and after reading it they want to know how to create a cost center. In my WIKI Spaces they can directly click a link that will direct them to the topic related forums and can enter the thread there. Once the thread has been answered it would then be the responsiblity of the moderators such as myself to repopulate the wiki with such proceedures (and as you propsed the FAQ page) which can also be referenced.
In this way repetitive threads are eliminated and also the forums will help the WIKI contributions to grow and the forums will become more effective and begin to play their true role as feeders for the wiki content.
This is my thinking on the proposed feelings felt widespread throughout the SCN Community and an attempt to provide direction for these proposels and achieve the results that make the SCN Community come alive again and bustle with activity.

Why no discussion area for Bionic in devices

The discussion space for devices has an empty slot and yet there isn't a category for the Bionic. I know the Bionic isn't the newest device out there but I seem to see older devices listed (or am I wrong) I really think that verizon should at least offer users a shot at reviews and assistance . . .just expand the space . . I tried clicking on the the side scroll arrow and nothing appeared what am I doing wrong ? (depending on verizon in the first place ? lol)

Thanks for your reply, as I said when I go to the Andriod discussions, I do not see a listing for the Bionic. Although I did do a search and found some threads. If it were showing up in the box of devices I would not have asked. And since it isn't showing up (at least not for me) it made me concerned that verizon was abandoning support for that device. Different sales area for Inter company stock transfer and STO

Hi People,
                       Is it possible to have two different sales area's for Inter company stock transfer and within the company stock transfer. The problem is in below step
IMG->MM->Purchase Order->Setup stock transport order->Define shipping data for plants.
In this step when you define plant as customer, the same plant as customer needs to be maintaind for both STO and Inter company and there is only one entry of sales area possible for this single plant. So, how can the task be achieved.
I want that STO should be carried out by sales area lets say X/Y/Z
Inter company should go through A/B/C.

           It is not possible at all to have two sales area for given Plant in STO.
           What is issue in that u can Transfer any MATERIAL, just need to extend it to given sales area.

Substitution of Business Area for Tax Line Items for Invoices posted in MM

We have one Business Area for every company code. A substitution rule has been created to populate Business Area in Tax Line Items, while booking vendor invoice. The substitution rule has been defined as
Prerequite
Company Code = 1234 and GL = 1323232
Substitution
Business Area = 6668
The system is working fine, when the Vendor Invoice is posted through FI. However, when the vendor invoice is generated through MIRO or MIR7, the Business Area is not substituted.
In Table VWTYGB01, we have maintained BSEG-GSBER as a field allowed for substitution with Boolean Class 09.
We have created the susbstitution rule for Text and Assignment also and the rules are working fine for all document posted through FI and MM

Business Area is a sensitive field, agreed. However, the substitution rule is working fine for FI posted documents and the issue is in MM generated documents.

returned to school and the program I have to use are for windows I hear about bootcamp but not sure. need help?

To begin with, see if it'll work properly in the CrossOver Mac trial.
If it does, buy the full version of it. If not, you'll basically need to use Windows; Boot Camp is itself free, but can't be used to run both OSes at once. VirtualBox is a free emulator which can; Parallels Desktop has more features but is a commercial product.
Wine can be complicated to set up.

I was wondering if you could have a discussion board for people to post things on a site I made using iWeb.
If it is possible, how would I do it?

That's a yes and no answer…
You can find generic discussion boards free on the web. They normally use mySQL and PHP. I don't think you'd be able to host the discussion board directly on your iDisk. It normally needs a bit of help from a friendly ISP to switch on some things at their end.
But, you can host the discussion board on another server and have a link from your iWeb page.

Parallels, Fusion and VirtualBox are all virtualization applications, they 'virtualize' (create) a Windows environment on your Macs OSX operating system.
Boot Camp makes a compatible partition on your hard drive so you may install windows on it directly.

Just create a new AppleID for your work.
As Allan suggested, items purchased on one iTunes account cannot be moved to the other account.
However, you can put items purchased on on account onto the other iPhone.

Unfortunately, in your case, there isn't really a way to separate them as far as I can think.
You could try restoring from a backup, and choosing an older backup perhaps

Connect your iPad to iTunes on the computer you usually Sync with and “ Check for Updates “...
If an Update Appears Install it... if not... you are up to date for your particular Device...
