On the iPad/iPhone, the best you can do is to press the Edit button, select your emails and then press Delete. If an IMAP account, access your account via a browser and delete them from there.
Personally, I find that using a browser to access my GMail is far superior to the iPad's Mail app.

To migrate your phone to a new account, start by saving any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll. If you are syncing notes with iCloud that you want to keep on the phone, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; your other devices won't be effected by this), provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone (if using iOS 7) and choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted . Then sign back in with your new Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload your data to the new account.

Apple (and no one else) can not assist (with serial number or iCloud) in finding a lost or stolen iPad.
Report to police along with serial number. Change all your passwords.

Buying storage on iCloud get you additional space on the iCloud server for email, contacts, calendars, iWork Documents etc.
It does not buy you extra storage/memory on your iPad. That consists of physical memory chips inside the iPad and it is not possible to upgrade it. You will either have to continue deleting as necessary to make more space, or buy a new iPad with more memory.

Try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Stores and then log back in and see if you can then update the app.
If you do delete the app then you should be able to re-download your ibook purchases via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the app. But in case some of them are no longer available in the store and/or you have PDFs or epubs in it, then you could first connect it to your computer's iTunes and do File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases on iTunes 11) which should copy them over to the Books part of your iTunes library so that you have your own copy of them and can sync them back (even though they aren't iTunes purchases it should also copy over any PDFs or epubs that you have in the iBooks app)

Have you tried deleting the App within the Settings menu (rather than from the Home Screen)?
Settings>General>Usage>
From the Apps list, find the App (press "Show all Apps" if the app is not in the immediately shown list), tap on the app you wish to delete, then tap "Delete App"

I'm getting a message that my iCloud storage is almost full (5.0 GB, 186 mb remaining). I have transferred all photos from iPad and iPhone to Mac. I've deleted all but 200 photos on each of these devices. Data storage is still same.

I have transferred all photos from iPad and iPhone to Mac. I have deleted almost all photos from both (about 200 remaining on each). I do not store tunes or videos. After making these changes, I still have the same message in iCloud.

Go to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Manage Storage > Select your device (listed as 'This iPhone' or 'This iPad') then look at the next backup size. Compare the 'Next Backup Size' to the 'Backup Size' on taht same screen. If the next backup size is smaller, then you have successfully removed some content from your device.
Now the question still lingers as to why your iCloud is still showing so full right? Well, iCloud keeps the last 3 backups from each device. It doesn't duplicate them, but it uses an incremental backup system. So basically your device's backup will take up as much space on iCloud as the largest backup of the last 3 backups. With that being said, your iPhone and ipad will eventually shrink the size of your backup (if that next backup size is smaller) in about 3 days (3 backups assuming your iOS devices backup once as day when you are sleeping).
Can I expedite this? Well of course you can. If you want, you can Delete the backup from both of the devices via that same screen then go back to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup, turn iCloud Backups back on, then backup now. Keep in mind that if you do this, it will clear out your last 3 backups (and cannot be undone), but it may also take a long while for your iPhone and iPad to complete that inital backup after deleting the old backups.
I hope this helps. (My Recommendation: Basically check what's in paragraph one, then it will works itself out in a few days.)

Photos that were synced from your computer using iTunes can only be deleted by de-selecting them from the folder from where they were synced - and then re-syncing.
Connect the iPad to the computer and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Photos Tab on the right.
Uncheck all of the albums that you want to remove under the Sync Photos From heading
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
If you are using iTunes 11 and you can't see the sidebar go to View>Show Sidebar from the menu at the top.

Hey rbrylawski, just wanted to let you know that my ipad email problems have been solved. Called Apple Sup in OZ, I'm in NZ. Daniel Barber was the support tech from heaven!! I was about to return the ipad but solving this issue reset my faith in phone support.....perhaps until I call a differnet companys phone support eh? Anyhow, for reference the fix is below. My accounts are all POP not IMAP, and the primary smtp server setting had defaulted to have SSL switched on and the port was set to 5XX (something, cant remember). Anyhow, SSL was switched off and the port was swithced to 25. VOILÀ!! Settings/Mail, contacts, calendars/My POP mail account/smtp/primary server/ >>> server on, no username and password, use SSL off, no authentication, Server Port 25 Thanks for having a crack at it. Welcome to the Apple Community.
First check that all your settings are correct, that contact syncing is checked on all devices (system preferences > iCloud on a mac and settings > iCloud on a iPhone, iPad or iPod).
Make sure the contacts you are adding are added to your 'iCloud' group and not an 'On My Mac', 'On My Phone' or other non iCloud group (you can do this by checking in groups), non iCloud contacts will not sync.
If you are sure that everything is set up correctly and your contacts are in the iCloud group, you might try unchecking contact syncing in the iCloud settings, restarting your device and then re-enabling contact syncing.
