Do we have to reset MGCP gateway after T1 down/up

hi! we have a T1 CAS circuit (on 2821 MGCP GW) went down but came up shortly. But the problem is on CallManager, under Gateway configuration, the end point associated with this T1 is
Registration: Unknown
and there is snmp trap:
Message: snmp trap ccmGatewayFailed
1.should we have to perform"reset gateway" at end point level (not the whole router reset)
2. is it normal MGCP behavior?

A couple things to check:
-Does the pots dial peer for the CAS circuit have 'service mgcp' under it
-Does 'show ccm | i Name' match what you've defined in CUCM
-Do 'show voice call summary' and 'show voice port summary' show that the T1 is idle and up?
-Is 'show controllers t1' showing the controller up?
Otherwise, 'debug mgcp packet' may be helpful.

I have my speakers digitally connected to my X-Fi and i'm facing the following problem: after every WinXP reboot i have to reset the digital out in the THX setup console in order to get sound again. My drivers are the latest version, downloaded from the Creative site, whereas the tools (various setup consoles) are from the original install CD. I was having the same problem, but it seems for me it's just if I'm in game mode. I use x-fi mode changer http://www.freewebs.com/spectra9/xfmc.html?and have the default setting as Entertainment mode. Now I almost never have to waste time switching digital out off and on again. I've got bf2 and bf242, and gamespy set to automatically switch to game mode via this utility so I don't curse myself anymore for forgetting to switch to game mode anymore.

MGCP Gateway Change port from POTS to Loop Start

I have an existing MGCP gateway port that I need to change from POTS to Loop start, however I have not seen a setting in UCM that allows me to do this. When I try to delete the port, it ask if I want to delete this gateway and I'm scared that it will blow all my ports away. Does anyone know how to reset this port to the default so I can program loop start or updat the existing port?

Yeah you need to delete the port from the gateway and re-add it to change it. You will need to remove route pattern/route group dependencies in order to delete the port. I recommend you use the Dependency Records to find out what RGs this port is assigned to so that you can add it back in.
If these are FXS ports, I'd actually recommend you keep it at POTS until CM 8.5, though, since LS is the default configuration for the port in IOS, and there is this bug on CM, which isn't fixed until 8.5:

As KP has pointed out, there actually aren't any anti-virus programs in the App Store. There are a few that allow you to scan e-mail or stuff like that, and a few that provide you with information about malware and new threats for other systems. But none are available that can scan your iOS device for malware, because the security restrictions in iOS do not permit any apps to have that kind of access to anything. Which means that you also cannot be infected with a virus (unless you have jailbroken your device).
If your account got compromised, that had nothing whatsoever to do with your iPad. Someone simply hacked it remotely. Happens all the time. It's really amazing that, in this day and age, e-mail providers are so ignorant of technology and how their own systems get compromised that they would try to require you to run software that does not exist!

ok so i recently updated my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 to the ios6 and now for some odd reason when ever i try to join my original network it won't let me it just keeps kicking me of, for my iPhone 4 it will just put me to 3G and my iPad 2 get no internet but the internet works perfect on my mac book pro which is also updated fully and i have tried reseting the router if you know what i can do please help.

This worked for me on iPhone 4S and iPad 2:
Settings -> General -> Restore -> Restore network settings
After the device restart, I logged in my wifi network without any problem.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it sounds like the iPhone is searchiong for a network. It looks like you have already done some troubleshooting. There are a few steps listed in this article you did not mention trying, they may be able to help the issue.

So here's my problem. I just used the "reset all settings" option, and accidentaly restored an old backup. It deleted all my photos and contacts, but for some reason I still have all the apps from after the backup date, is there a way to get it all back?

If you still can find a recent backup listed in iTunes/Edit/Preferences/Devices, use this one to restore from.
If there are no recent backups listed, your data is gone. Only if you included the iTunes backup folder into your computer backup routine, you could be able to restore this folder and find one of your latest backups listed again.

If you are able to you should sign out using the Cloud manager program before you reset. YOu will be able to download again after the rest if you need to.

After restoring from backup, iPad hangs after sliding to unlock-I have to reset every time to get it to work--Any fix?

I have a first generation iPad.
After having crashing issues I restored from backup.
Since restore, whenever I slide to unlock, it hangs for few minutes. Then I get a pictrue of the spinning circle but is doesn't spin---just hangs there--frozen.
I have to reset the iPad to get it to function every time (holding down the home button/on-off button).
Any ideas on how I can resolve this issue?

Seems to have something to do with the passcode. I turned the passcode off and now there are no issues.

Try to reset the iPod by pressing the home and sleep button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data doing a reset, but it can clear some glitches after installing new software or apps.

- See if placing the iPod in Recovery mode will allow a restore.
