Do we know how long it's been re: 'change your icon' page nukes ASC members?
This has been happening for days...perhaps even weeks. I'm using Safari which is a proprietary application; so, with all due respect, please don't recommend Firefox as I never use cookies with that browser.
Not only does the icons page load half-way before the subsequent crash of Safari but also, to add insult to that, one also gets timed out for a considerable period of time during which one is denied access to ASC servers.

Guess what? The 'mere thought of your suggestion' caused me to become elated to the point of assuming that the problem was fixed. You certainly may keep the points as I'm sure you would like (as I certainly would) to have your own custom icon some blissful day in what appears likely to be a radically shortened planetary future.
But alas, my friends -- Chitlins, Kappy, Bob Suegert, et al... the "glich du jour" exists in a parallel universe. "Glich du jour" in one and "Day of the Dead Rubber Duckies" in the other. Bob can verify the fact that I referred to this very same problem specifically as "The Day of the Dead Rubber Duckies" in a previous post.
The problem of course being not only the unsuccessful loading of the ASC icons page (it stops ~ 1/2 way), but also the subsequent "nuking" (for lack of a better term) of Safari's access to Apple's ASC servers (Ver. 5.5.1 in my case, but probably with other versions of Safari (not FireFox) and finally, lest I forget to mention - the mandatory time out.
So once again, here y"all go. Something to remember me by - for want of a lil' yellow rubber ducky...
I looked & looked for the "GET/Welcome" link and I just don't see one. I tried Kappy's fix again without any luck & I tried to find your suggested link a second time as well. But with all due respect and best regards to y'all. This problem is a vexing one. So I guess I'll never be able to to have the prized yellow rubber ducky icon. Rumor has it that it has been abducted and a ransom of seven million dollars is demanded for it's release from what is sure to be an unpleasant captivity.

BTW, if you see a yellow rubber ducky icon on said problematic page it's actually been deviously replaced by a hologram.

I've been with Verizon for a really long time and one of the best things about their upgrades was that they used to allow you to do it a little early. And since you dont really keep up with plan changes until a new phone comes out or you are closer to your upgrade eligibility date, I didnt realize that they changed this. My phone is on its last leg. 2 years is a long time for a device that you use every day, 50 times a day. My upgrade date is a month away and I'm considering moving to a different service and letting them pay for my ETF. I have called Verizon asking if there was anything they could do to allow me to upgrade early and they said no. When did this start happening? They tried to sell me the "Edge" but thats the same as paying 700 dollars.

I recently ordered an unlocked iphone 4s from the apple store online on Nov. 24th. However, I have yet to receive a shipment notification email. The status of my order has been on processing items for a week now. Does anyone know how long it generally takes to receive shipment notification?

I see there were several missteps both by the reps and yourself in your post. First you should have insisted on returning the phone within the 14 day return policy period. Second which Samsung Galaxy mini model did you purchase? The S3 mini or the S4 mini? Did you do any research prior to deciding on this device. The reps at that time deflected the easiest course of action, by trying to get you to replace the phone under insurance instead of returning the phone. The Early Edge payment option requires the current phone on the line using the early Edge must be returned to Verizon Wireless. Did you once considered going to a third party site like Swappa to purchase a gently used device for your daughter? -

I`m `propping` up this thread to to the top of the forums again as it`s been three months and not a single community member or Apple support personnel have replied, which I find discouraging.
I`ve tried everything - both the iOS device(s) and Apple TV have been upgraded (albeit reluctantly) to the latest versions, since iOS 7 looks like crap compared to iOS 6. Both use the same WiFi network. Bluetooth is set to `off`, as per the online tutorials on the Apple Support page.
I also tried shutting all of them down, including the router, waiting 30 seconds and turning the router, then the Apple TV then the iOS device on sequentially with 30 seconds in between each, again as per this discussion forum, and still nothing.
Why can Apple not make a technology, such as AirPlay, work with greater than 10%?
Any other ideas?

Hi. I have an iPhone 4 with iOS7 and no data plan. When I am not connect to wifi I don't receive iMessages, but then when I do connect to wifi I get the messages telling me they were sent earlier. Is there any thing I can do to fix it? I don't remember how long this has been happening but it is very frustrating. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!!!
If you don't have a cellular data plan, then why are you expecting that you will have an active internet connection unless you are connected to wi-fi?
iMessages require either wi-fi or a cellular data connection. -
Ok so here's what has happened. I got on the Mac to open IPhoto. It opened, but no files PERIOD! No albums, events, photos, faces. They were all empty. I had TONS of albums and photos. I have no clue how long it's been this way, probably a couple of weeks since I've been on it. Ac couple of things come to mind that might have caused or had something to do with...IPhone 4 had to be restored and a back-up and upgrade occurred. Also, I deleted files off my camera while connected. Not sure the culprit, but VERY UPSET! I have never set up Time Machine and have no other back up. I downloaded and purchased File Salvage but I have to get an external hard drive before it will do it. I put the application install CD in last night thinking that if I reinstalled it would help but then I got scared and shut Mac down half way through. I couldn't even find the file IPhoto Library. When I open IPhoto it say IPhoto 9 but when I "get more info" it says IPhoto 8.1.2 or something like that. Please HELP!!
Try an All Images Search:
In the Finder:
Command - f
Kind: Images
Size: Greater than 300kb (This is to avoid all the thumbnails, icons and so on.)
Set it to search the Mac.
As to why? The most likely answer is user error, I'm afriad. It does point up the importantce of always having a back up.

I'm in Classic scenario which means that the PO and other relevant documents are stored in ECC. A programmer here helped me to obtain the information that I was looking for by querying the PO header and PO items tables (EKKO, EKPO) for those orders where the requestor and the bought on behalf of persons where different (ERNAM, AFNAM):
SELECT DISTINCT EKKO~EBELN EKKO~ERNAM EKPO~AFNAM
FROM EKKO

Is there a timer app for tracking how long someone has been logged on?
I want to limit my child's total screen time on a daily basis and display how long he has been logged on. This is different from time limits, which set the start and end time of the day.

I am trying to get the user issued query and how long it has bee running.
I was trying to test on test database running a query under scott schema with
1.5 million records which is almost taking more than 5 minutes and trying to
see If I can see the query and how long it has been running.
I ran script(show.sql---from Ask tom) got it from NET and i see session status as INACTIVE while query was still running. And I do not see the query in output.
I could see the show.sql query in output.
Why is it showing session status as INACTIVE when the sql is still running.
Could you please provide me sql that will show user issued quries and how ong they have been running

user539835Go to Morgan's Library at www.psoug.org and look up "DBMS_APPLICATION_INFO." This built in package has a procedure named SET_SESSION_LONGOPS that may help you.

I tried to update the software overnight, and it was still in the beginning stages of the progress bar when I woke up. When I restarted the process I have to restore the phone, its again stuck in the beginning of the process. Does anyone know how long this should take? The beginning sections seemed to fly by.

My ipod is stuck at step 9 in this guide. Itunes told me to keep my ipod connected to itunes, and my Ipod shows the Apple logo as it should (though I can´t see any progress bar). Do anybody know how long step 9 takes. I have turned off my firewall.
Please Help!If it happens again and the reset (home + power buttons) doesn't work, just let the battery drain; you'll know when the screen shuts off. Charge it back up and it should be fine. Frankly, I'm surprised this worked for you. Usually I hear people with this problem say that holding both buttons doesn't work, and they have to do the battery drain.
If the issue is incurable next time, you have a one-year warranty from the date of purchase. -
