I have few question's on oracle restart.
1) Do we require two listeners. that is ASM listnener and DB listnener if yes why and if not what is the reason ?
2)If we add the components to OHASD,do we have to restart the services ?

I don't get the point.
Listener don't hold connection but only redirect it to Instance, is the instance which create a session/process.
The use of listener is so small it's only for incoming connection, so after connection is established it is handled by Oracle Database process.
If you stop listener only incoming connection are affected, all current connection still alive on database.
1) ASM Connection is done only when someone try to connect at ASM remotely. It's pretty rare the use of it.
2) Does not matter if you are using ASM or DB Listener, ff you have a storm of connection incoming on its listener it should be avoided, in setting up the clients in a manner they don't open 100rds of connections at the same time - and with some listener.ora parameters.
Still see no reason to have two listener.

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.0.1. For the iPad Mini the iOS is 6.0.2. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

We have two users that have been using Creative Cloud for almost a year. Recently, sometime in the last 4ish weeks, the users can no longer run Creative Cloud apps. (Yes, our subscription is paid.) Error simply says administrator access is required

We have two users that have been using Creative Cloud for almost a year. Recently, sometime in the last 4ish weeks, the users can no longer run Creative Cloud apps. (Yes, our subscription is paid.) Error simply says administrator access is required to install. The apps have already been installed. The users cannot run them unless they are in the local admin group.Using "Run as admin" does not work. It gives the same error.
I have opened a case with adobe support and was basically told to suck it up and put the users in the admin group. Actually, what was said was that it is "mandated that the users have administrative rights".
There are a couple of things wrong with this. It was working for both users until recently - a recent required creative cloud update. The users have never been local admins yet the apps were working (poorly, but working).
We are in an enterprise environment and users simply do not have administrative rights on the computers.
I have changed permissions on all adobe folders, granting users or authenticated users modify or full control rights, did the same in whatever Adobe registry HKLM keys I could find. Nothing has allowed the users to run the apps - unless they are put in the local admin group.
Someone has to have a fix for this. Adobe apps have proved to have far too many vunerabilities to even entertain the idea of elevating user rights. I can't imagine that enterprise environments are allowing this.
Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your response. The users in question are "standard" domain users. We do not reduce users permissions below the standard level.
The apps do not load with their current standard user permissions.
The thing that makes this odd, is that up until recently they did this issue with cloud apps. The only way I can make it work for them now is to put them in the local administrator group on their pc's - which is not going to happen.
This is what they now see. As I said before, this was not a problem up until recently they would see all their available apps. If I put them in the local admin group the apps are listed without having to install. Everything is there, just not accessible to the user.

Two iCloud accounts require two Apple IDs. So, if you want to set up a separate Apple ID for the other device, then you can set up a new iCloud account for that Apple ID. Everything associated with your current Apple ID will only remain with your current Apple ID with the possible exception of your Contacts, which you can keep on the device when you delete the iCloud account from it, and then you can merge them to the new iCloud ID when you sign it on.
All purchases made under the old ID will continue to be owned by the old ID.

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH SHARING MY LIBRARY WITH MY SON. WHAT I DID WIAS CREATED A LIBRARY FOR HIS USE ONLY. IN ITUNES CLICK--FILE--NEW PLAYLIST AND THIS SHOULD ADD AN UNTILED PLAY LIST IN YOUR SIDE BAR. CLICK ON IT AND RENAME IT. HE CAN KEEP ALL OF HIS MUSIC IN THIS LIBRARY. SELECT ALL OF HIS MUSIC FROM YOUR LIBRARY AND DRAG IT INTO HIS. ONCE THIS IS DONE YOU CAN THEN REMOVE HIS SONS FROM YOU PLAY LIST. MAKE SURE YOU ONE REMOVE IT FROM YOUR PLAY LIST AND NOT DELETE THE FILE.

Can any one help me to add two more column for standard report that is purchase order and delivery dates for Internal order wise.
But here problem is when i checked with ABAP team they said there is no standard functional module to add two column.
Please note below :
Selection criteria is: 1) controlling area
                              2) Fiscal Year
                              3) From date and To date
                              4) Plan Version
                              5) Order Group.
My client suggested : S_ALR_87012993 this tcode to run, but we suggested with S_ALR_87013019 as in this tcode we can get all the details
That is required output fields, as it is showing all details but on yearly basis, he wants this to be period wise and also Abap team is not able to find standard functional module in the second tcode as well.

1) Orders.
2) Budget
3) Actual
4) commitment
5) Alloted
6) Available
These are two additional column
7)Purchase order
8) Delivery date.
Require your help to know which all tables are included to extract above out put fields please help me.

As my client is very specific to run the report on period wise, i also tried to execute the standard tcode S_ALR_87013019 and were we are getting all the required outputs to pop up but this is on year wise, but we can also check by period basis by clicking on order number and actual period basis where we can see period basis.
Also one more question,what is the commitment table which is popping up in this, please advise.

Smart forms--In different pages i require two different main windows

In one smartform, I am having two pages. and two pages are having different formats
First page will print repeatedly till the completion of main window1.
Now i want to add another main window(2) to second page, it will also should print repeatedly till the completeion of main window(2).
But in first page main window contains 5 coloumns with subtotal
in second page main window contains 3 columns without subtotal
Both main windows are using same internal table.
can anybody help me in this issue.
If i copy first page main window into second page as main window with diferrent name, then it is showing blank window with out any text why?

Try to do it like this, separate the data in internal table to two different tables, since data should be printed on two different formats...
Design two page in your smartform according to the requirment. now goto first page and set the next page as FIRST
now goto second page that you have created and set the next page as SECOND.
loop the first internal table in first page and once all the entries are finished, try to goto second page for doing this place command and tick the check box in command, goto next page and select the page as Second...
I guess this will solve your issue.

These forums are barely usable, but a bright spot is the color-managed photo attachment capability (i.e., you can upload an image with a non-sRGB color profile and the server will convert it). I suppose if anything Adobe could have been expected to get that part right.

Trying to join two views that have different column types

I want to join view1 and view2 on region and city int columns. Need to break apart View1 varchar field into two Int fields and replace any non-numeric values with zeros.
View1 has a single Region_City field that is VARCHAR. the last record is erroneous. the individual values for Region and City should always be Int.

I want to create two new individual columns in view1 that will have Region and City each as a Int. And for any Region_city that is invalid numeric just use zeros in Region and City.

This is a way to do it, by no means the only way, but a way. (The other way to achieve this would work fine, but would require functions inside functions inside other functions, including repeating at the very least "Patindex('-', RegionCity)"

You didn't mention how bad the source data might be, how unpredictable it might be, whether it's always coded exactly as listed. This way is reasonably flexible.
EDIT: I used "IsNumeric" in this example. It's quite an imperfect function, often best avoided, but I used here just because it's probably OK in this example.

Click OK and the change is made anyway, oftentimes resulting in loss of document CSS and dynamic code, which is then unretrievable. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING!!!

Looking at DW preferences, I found two Fireworks editors listed for .png, .gif, and .jpg. Maybe that was causing a problem.

Two tables that have both "many-to-many" and "one-to-many" relationship

i have the following two tables one represents the users and the other represents articles where each article can have one author(user) and of course the users can author many articles, so the relationship is one-to-many:-
1. Users:-
User_id (primary_key)
User_name
User_sex
user_address
2.Articiles:-
Article_id
Text
Author_id (foreign key to the users.user_id)
but the problem that i have faced is that on another requirement each articles can have multiple approval (users) before being published, so in this way the relation have became many-to-many, so i have created a third table named "approvals":-
3.Approval:-
approval_id (foreign key to the users.user_id)
article_id (foreign key to the articles.article_id)
level.
so is this a good approach to flow , or there are another way that i can better build these tables.

and any user can be author if a flag in the users table is set to yes and he is involved in a workflow.

What is "level" in APPROVAL table?
What is PK for APPROVAL table? level indicates the workflow steps if there are multiple steps in the workflow ,for example the first approval is on level one, and the second approval is on level two,etc
the primary key for the approval will be article_id and the user_id

Can't start two listeners at the same time

I am running Oracle 10g R2 on Solaris 10. I am getting the following error when I try to start my second listener "TNS-01106: Listener using listener name ccn_listener has already been started". There are multiple VIPA's assigned to the server, so I am trying to start two listeners at the same time (I can start each one separately). The different IP's are referenced in the listeners (even though they use port 1521), so there should not be a conflict. I also gave the two listeners distinct non-default names. The listeners are running under two differenct Oracle homes.

I've got a question. I just now tried to open a dialog with a commanbutton and tried to use the actionListener, the returnListener and the launchListener. But it didn't work.
So tried out what can be the problem for that. Then I thought that maybe only two Listeners will be occured for what resaon ever. And when put my code from the launchListener to the actionListener and only defined the actionListener and the returnListener on the commandbutton, the returnListener was executed again. And I was very happy.
But why is that so? Can a commandbutton only listen to two listeners? Or is there something more profound?
I would have understand if either the launchListener or the actionListener would be executed, but not that the returnListener in this case isn't executed. That really confused me.

Dropdown widget requires two clicks?

I'm just becoming familiar with the dropdown widget, and have noticed that it requires two clicks in order to display the list. The first click doesn't do anything, and the second displays the choices. Is there some way around this? I looked in the properties but didn't see anything related to this issue. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I reported this behaviour, don't have a workaround. Can only recommend that you report it as well.
