I every one, my friend would like to buy this video editing system dose every one agree that this is best system for future film 3K & 4K videos.

Or using ( Intel Core i7-980X Processor Extreme ) its better then 2 Intel® Xeon® Quad-Core Processor X5677 (3.46 GHz, 12 MB cache, 1333 MHz memory)

a 980x stock will outperform a dual Xeon up to 2.8GHZ.
after that the dual xeons start to win. (2.93 and up)
it also depends on layer count, effects count and codec and color bit depth. the nastier the project the more the Xeons will do better.
where a standard AVCHD with 3-5 layers would be better on the 980x (price point per performance)
note i have not talked about OCing at this point.
assuming OCing both platforms, 2 xeons @ 4GHz are better than 1 980x @ 4ghz..
the question is do you need that kind of horsepower. most do not. and its not cheap.
lastly the system needs to be balanced. it would be foolish to have say a dual xeon @ 4ghz, 12 gig ram and only 3 hdds.
vs a 980x @4ghz 24gig ram and an 8 drive raid.

Office 2004 Applications Won't Work in Lion
You must have Office 2004 which is a PPC-only suite and will not work in Lion. You need to upgrade to Office 2011 - Mactopia - or you can try the freeware suite, Libre Office, that is functionally similar to Office 2007 for Windows except it works on Lion.

Abobe Elements 12 thinking that my operating system was good. I just upgraded to Mavericks - but in installing Elements - I learn I need 10.7.0 or higher. Do I have an option now?

I purchased Adobe Elements 12 thinking that my operating system was good. I'm not all that familiar with Apple Operating Systems yet. A bit confusing with Lion, Mavericks and OS vxx.x.xx - I know I upgratede to Mavericks - but I evidently need 10.7.0 or higher so ... I figured if my OS was up-to-date ... but really, Apple has three different operating systems and software only works with some of it? I think I'm confused
Do I have an option now? The photo editing software seems to work but the Photo Organizing portion doesn't even open.

Mavericks = OS 10.9,
Mountain Lion = OS 10.8,
Lion = OS 10.7
So what you have is higher than 10.7.0 and Adobe Elements 12 should be happy.
If some part of AE 12 is not working, that should be sorted out with Adobe.

The activation server is gone for AA7, but not AA8 as understand it. You will need to do the updates for AA8 to be effective on Win7. It is questionable that it will run on WIn8 (I have no clue for a MAC).
Your conversation is an example of how many of us got here in the first place. It is fantastic that you were able to hold on and get the problem resolved. Not exactly sure of the solution, but there does seem to be light at the end of the tunnel for folks. Normally, with activation problems like yours, we recommend calling Adobe Support for them to reset the activations. I was just wanting to get a heads up about AA8 on the newer systems. Folks have been successrul on Win7 with the updates, but the results for Win8 are still not known in general. There have been some suggestions, but nothing more. As long as it works for you that is great. For our info, what OS are you running?

I have an airport extreme. I really like it, its nice and fast :] Recently my old macbook died and I realized that one I had to be more careful with my drinks and second that I should probably start to back up my information. I have been thinking about getting a time capsule...Do you think that this would be a good investment? Or should I save some money try something else?

All depends upon what scheme you want to use when backing up. If you want to use Time Machine and be fast then Time Capsule backup is slow but if you don't mind just leaving it alone to backup then a moot issue. Example 100 gig TM backup to TC on ethernet would be about 5 hours, wireless about 6 to 8 hours. To a firewire 800 external drive about one hour. USB attached external about three hours.
The TC can be accessed on the network but so can the external but the speed drops off.
So not so easy of an answer. There are other considerations but the above are the bare basics.

That's how it works on Firefox 3.5.3 but Safari 4.3.4. Thus, on Firefox, Command-1 switches to the Left Most Tab, when Multiple Tabs are open. But on Safari, Command-1 switches the Tab's Conten to the Left Most Bookmark on Bookmark Bar, which undermines the concept of Multiple Tabs, I think!
The whole idea for Tabs is to have several sites open at the same time in different Tabs, and be able to Toggle them! It's much easier to Toggle between Command-1 and Command-2, rather than to use the mouse! That's why Pro-Users use Keyboard Shortcuts, which they have memorized.
Do you agree that Safai should gives a choice to Configure Command-1, or 2-3-4 respectively, to behave as they do now - accessing Bookmarks, or the way it works in FireFox, accessing Tabs?

Carolyn responded to that and as far as I know, she is not on this site as an official representative of Apple, but purely, in her spare time, as a user who gives a lot of her valuable time and experience to other users, as do others.
BTW, do you agree with my Request? If so, please state that! If enough people ask for this, maybe Apple will do something? And anyone can include a link to this Thread in the Bug Report, so to connect the dots:)!

Could be some dust or could be LCD. I have had both. Like in the video removing the glass front panel is easy and then you can try to clean. If the LCD is bad replacing is almost the cost of a new TBD.

Depends on what surface it falls and from what height. But i think it will break almost as easy as without the case.
