Do you guys sell used iphones?

Hi Do You Guys Sell Used Iphones?

I think "you guys" refers to Apple ... I think you're asking if Apple's store sells used iPhones.  I do not believe they ever do.  Here is a link to their refurbished products:
http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/specialdeals
You are addressing Apple users here, not Apple company representatives.
If you choose to purchase a used iPhone from someone else, be extremely careful or you may end up with a previously stolen iPhone that would be useless to you.

Hey do you guys sell the t mobile iphone 5 ?

You are not addressing Apple here. If you want to know about purchasing Apple Products, go to the Apple home page and go to the store.

  • HT201441 what do you do if you buy an used iphone ofline and you try setting it up but you need there icloud but have no contact with them what do i dooo..?.

    what do i doo

If you bought a used iPhone and it is asking for the previous owners Apple ID and password, that iPhone is unusable.  That is the Activation Lock, an anti-theft protection system that cannot be bypassed, not even Apple can touch that.  You must get the Apple ID and password from the previous owner or get them to remove the iPhone from their iCloud devices or you will never be able to use it.

  • Do you still sell the iphone 3g in white with 16gb?

do you still sell the iphone 3g in white with 16gb in a apple store?

You're not communicating with Apple here. The only people who'll reply are we fellow users.
Anyway, to the best of my knowledge, Apple discontinued the iPhone 3G quite a while back, so it is not available from Apple any longer. Some cell carriers in some countries may offer refurbished models still, though it's not likely. The Apple Store has the 8GB iPhone 3GS, but only in black.
    Regards.

  • You guys ever used an iP

I've got a Zen Micro and the only real thing I found rather cool with the iPods is the games, I love those brick games
It'd be cool if we could have some games or something to put on the MP3 players or have them open source like graphing calculators. Small games don't require much CPU power and it mnight get more people to buy a Zen Micro or something if games could be written for it and transferred unto it via Media Source or the Zen Explorer. Would be cool to play snake on it or something :P
And i don't know if some of you guys have any sort of graphing calculator but they came out with a USB driver for the TI-84+ & SE which enables you to hook up any sort of USB device that uses the same amount of power and make it work, so maybe we could hook up mini WiFi enteneas or something and then start playing wireless. This is a bit far fetched but w/e

Yes, I've used an iPod. I think the games, contacts and calendar are a complete waste of time. I use a PDA for that stuff. I also don't need appointments, etc. on my cell phone. Another waste. iPod should worry about working with subscription music services or something useful concerning music. Every gadget is trying to do everything, none of it very well. I have been suckered into phones with games (Nokia), a watch with contacts and calendar (Timex DataLink), phone with calendar appointments (Samsung) and various other "convergence" products. All have been so poor at these additional functions I gave them all up. Even the Treo Smartphone (and other smartphones) are lousy phones and lousy PDAs. You're better off carry 2 items. Get one of those new Sony things that plays music, video and games. That sounds like something you might like (not meant to be offensi've). I would MUCH rather have Creative focus their energy on updating the firmware of the Zen Touch, adding Audible support to more players and generally focusing on the audio part of their players without all the marginally useful junk they put on some of them.
Well, for some people who don't use cell phones too much (like me for instance) and other stuff, i wouldn't having the calendar and contacts. But games!!! that's a whole new story. I don't think it would be good idea to have games on ZM and mp3 players. IT will probably decrease your battery life, not user friendly because of the trackpad and bottons and all.
    Topic of iPods:
Yes, i have used iPods several times, they have a different system and stuff fromt eh ZM and Creative. But! I own a ZM because i like the Zm's features. I bought the ZM because it fitted my needs the best.

  • Hiding apps you don't use iPhone 4

Is there a way to hide apps you don't use on an iPhone 4?

A few select apps can be hidden via Restrictions, but otherwise, no. Just move them into a folder and place it on a seperate home screen where they will be out of the way.

  • In the latest update of pages on Ipad it says you can easily use iPhone landscape keyboard to type. How do you do this

If any one knows how to "easily" do this as advertised on pages app. Please help. Cheers

I don't know where you read that but on the app description page - this is what it states.
    What's New in Version 1.6
Pages 1.6 requires iOS 5.1 software update or later
    • Easily enter text using the landscape keyboard on iPhone and iPod touch
    • Create and view stunning 3D bar, line, area, and pie charts
    • Pages 1.6 is enhanced to take advantage of the Retina display on the new iPad
    • Includes performance improvements
That doesn't make it sound like you can use the phone keyboard to edit documents on the iPad. Maybe I missed it somewhere. It just makes it sound like the keyboard now rotates to landscape on the phone and the touch.

  • Would you buy a used iPhone 4S that you KNOW has been dropped a few times?

A friend, who's quite the businessman, wants to sell me his 2-year old iPhone 4S. He's dropped it a few times and had the screen replaced twice. Most recently the speaker was fuzzy. He took it to get repaired by a local shop (not applestore) and was told it was just some dust interfering with the sound.
Alternative is to buy online (ebay or such) and hope I get one that's been taken better care of.
    Thoughts?

"A friend, who's quite the businessman..."
If he can convince you to buy his damaged iPhone, he really is a good salesman.

  • Do you guys actually use adrci ?

    DB version : 11.2.0.3
    Platform : RHEL 5.4
I was told that professional DBAs use adrci these days to purge unwanted trace files :)
So, I used it about a month ago , but it didn't remove any log files and I had to manually remove the files then.
This time it is a different issue. purge command itself is not working this time.
    Issue description:
    =================
DB HOME filesystem became full because ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/log (or ORACLE_HOME/log , can't remember now) directory was getting full by some sort of trace files with the extension .trc
So, I try to purge unwanted files using adrci . But I got the following error . Eventually I had to manually remove the trace files using rm.

  • Do you guys sell ibooks and powerbooks

    i just need to know

Neither iBook G4, nor iBook G3 nor any Powerbook will run Mac OS X 10.6 or later, or sync with iOS 6 or later.
Your signature says you have iOS 6, and that may be of interest to you.   If you need a Mac that can sync with your iOS device, then you need a MacBook or MacBook Pro.  Macs in general will not run any Mac operating system older than shipped with them.   http://www.powermax.com/ is another place for used or refurbished Macs.  Note any Mac with 10.6.8 or earlier should come prebundled with its own original installer discs to be able to install the operating system over again.
October 23 (Late), 2012 iMacs, EMC#2496 iMacs, October 24 (Late), 2011 MacBook Pros, July 20 (Mid), 2011 MacBook Airs and Mac Minis, June 11 (Mid), 2012 Mac Pros, and later Macs all were prebundled with internet install operating systems only.  Previous Macs had prebundled discs you can purchase from AppleCare.

  • Can't use iphone !

problem ( this iphone is currently to an apple id )

Sounds like you bought a used iPhone that is now blocked because of Activation Lock. This is a security feature of iOS 7 that prevents activation of lost and stolen iDevices. You can read about it at the link I posted above. Also on that page are instructions for how to turn Activation Lock off so you can use your iPhone.
Unfortunately without the original user's help your iPhone will not work. There is no way around it.
If the seller is unwilling or unable to help or you think you have purchased a lost or stolen iphone, you should report it to the police.

  • Does activating a used iPhone 1.0 by a new owner require a 2 year Contract

If a person buys a used iPhone 1.0 will they be required to sign a 2 year contract even if they have an existing AT&T account.

It depends on what you are talking about. If you buy a refurbished (used) iPhone directly from Apple or AT&T, then yes you will have to sign a contract. However if you buy a used iPhone from a friend, family or some other non-Apple/AT&T entity then no you can pay as you go.

  • Using iPhone as an apartment callbox number?

I was just curious if there was a reason you couldn't use iPhone as the apartment call box number? I have it set up as is (I don't have a land line any longer) and the call from the box comes through, but pressing the button doesn't seem to give a sustainable tone to open the door. Has anyone else had any issues doing this? Is there a way to set up the iPhone to have a long keypad tone instead of a beep?

No, there is no way to adjust the duration of the DTMF tones on the phone. There are 3rd party apps that might help, search the app store for 'DTMF' and try one of the free ones.

  • Buying a used iPhone 3G, is 2-year contract still required?

Can I get the AT&T plan without the 2-year commitment since the original owner took care of the subsidies?

    You're welcome.
A two year contract is not required because you MIGHT want to upgrade your phone - that has absolutely nothing to do with the two year contract requirement for the iPhone whatsoever.
The first generation iPhone was not subsidized by AT&T in the traditional way, but a two year contract was required. A two year contract is required with the iPhone 3G also regardless if an existing subscriber qualifies for upgrade or subsidized pricing with a new phone, and for new subscribers who purchased a used first generation iPhone or a used iPhone 3G.
Most first generation iPhone owners qualified for upgrade or subsidized pricing with the iPhone 3G a year or within a year of the two year contract. There was no penalty when doing so, and the new two year contract for the iPhone 3G replaced the existing contract that was not completed. This was because the first generation iPhone was not subsidized by AT&T in the traditional way.
If Apple releases the 3rd generation iPhone next summer, I won't qualify for upgrade pricing on a new phone at that time, including for the 3rd generation iPhone, but you would at that time if you activate a used iPhone 3G as a new subscriber since AT&T did not give you a subsidy for the iPhone 3G when becoming a subscriber.
That is why I threw that in there.
It is part of the exclusive contract between Apple and AT&T that a two year contract is required for the iPhone.

  • Using iPhone as if it was an iPod touch???

Okay so I want a iPhone, but if don't wan to pay that expensive monthly bill and that security deposit so is it possible for me to buy an used iPhone on eBay and use it a if it was an iPod touch with a camera? I don't care about not being able to make phone calls, an if I wan the Internet I can just use wifi right?
And another thing, if I do get a used iPhone and sync it to my iTunes account won't that AT&T activation page come up?

I have a first generation iPhone which is not activated with AT&T that I've used as an iPod Touch since purchasing an iPhone 3G. I must have the no longer activated SIM card inserted in my first generation iPhone that was used when the iPhone was activated with AT&T in order to install a firmware update, or to restore the iPhone with iTunes if needed or wanted.
If you purchase this used iPhone without the no longer activated SIM card included (which isn't likely), you won't be able to install a firmware update, or restore the iPhone with iTunes if needed or wanted.
The AT&T activation page will come up if you insert a new un-activated SIM card in the iPhone followed by connecting the iPhone to iTunes. Other than that, the activation page will not come up.
I suggest purchasing an iPod Touch instead.
