Do you have any way to connect iPad 1 on TV using 30-pin digital adapter?

....

You will need something along the lines of these adapters and cables. will depend on what sorts of input ports you have onthe TV you wish to use.

  • Could have any way to connect to oracle 7.1.6 by odbc?

we are urgently, could any people help us asap?
    thanks.
    fred

A win98 client application could be using any number of API's to connect to the database-- OCI (note that there's an Oracle7 version of OCI and an Oracle8 version of OCI, either of which could be used), ODBC, OLE DB, Pro C/C++, JDBC, etc-- to connect to the database, not to mention that it could be using one of the API's like DAO, ADO, RDO, etc. that are layered on top of protocols like ODBC. SQL*Net is Oracle networking layer-- I've never heard of an application that used it to communicate directly with the database. If the application was developed when Oracle 7.1.6
Since Oracle no longer supports the 7.1.6 version of the database, you may have some unexpected difficulties. I would expect all the protocols I listed above to work correctly, since there ought not to have been major changes in the way a 7.1.6 and 7.3.4 database communicates, but there are no guarantees.

  • When I go to open Firefox, my computer goes to a blue screen, and says my computer is shutting down because of a potential risk, do you have any way I can solve this?

So just like I said, when i go to open firefox, the screen goes blue, and says that my computer is at risk. This is the only problem it happens to, I have tried uninstalling and re stalling the program and nothing seems to work. I really like firefox, and the features it has. If you could please help me with this problem

That seems very suspicious. Two suggestions.
First, try Firefox's Safe Mode. This will let you work around problems with add-ons and perhaps help you identify things to remove so that Firefox goes back to normal.
I recommend making a backup of your Firefox settings before starting in Safe Mode. To back up Firefox, see [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information].
Next, try starting Firefox in Firefox
[http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode Safe Mode]. Be careful not to "reset" anything permanently if you didn't back up.
Does that work? If so, you may need to disable your add-ons and just bring the most essential ones back to life until you discover the problem one.
Second thought: malware. You could supplement your usual security scans with these:
    Malwarebytes Anti-malware : http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php
    SUPERAntiSpyware : http://www.superantispyware.com/
    HouseCall : http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
    Hope this helps.

  • I have a 2010 macbook pro running OSX 10.6.8 and I would like to interface my macbook to a HD tv. I purchased a interface cable but cannot seem to communicate with the TV. Do you have any instructions or tips that I can use to accomplish this task? Do I

I have a 2010 macbook pro running osx 10.6.8 and would like to interface my mac to my HD tv. Are any instructions available to reliably make this connection and if so what is needed on my part. Is the software compatible or do I have to upgrade to a later version OS. Thank You,
    Gene

I purchased a mini to HDMI cable and tried to connect to the TV but the TV is not recognizing the computer. I attempted to set sound and display settings under the "my Preferences" utility with no success.  Again, I'm not sure if I need to upgrade my OS software Any Suggestions?

You can unlock it on another computer though the content will be wiped and I think that you need to put it into DFU mode e.g. see post https://discussions.apple.com/message/15385719#15385719 in thread https://discussions.apple.com/message/15385641#15385641 .
    From http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212 :
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.

  • Is there any way to connect an ipad to a ethernet  cord or connection with out using wi fi

Is there any way to connect an ipad to a ethernet  cord or connect with out using wi fi?  Thank  you

The closest you can come, without having a 3G iPad is to have a cellular mobile hotspot like the Mifi or such device, use that to get to wifi, or to tether it to a cell phone.

Screen sharing setup in 10.5, 10.6 are described by the links by operating system.  10.7 is fairly similar to 10.6.
And if both Macs have Firewire, you can setup a Firewire over IP network for fast communication between machines.  Note if you have two different Firewire ports a 6 pin to 9 pin Firewire cable does exist.  There are no Firewire to USB cables.

  • Is there any way on an iPad Air to see your dictation as you speak

Is there any way on an iPad Air to see your dictation as you speak

You can use the built in Siri voice functions in many text apps, (Notability is good) to have it type as you speak, also Dragon Dictation is available in app store and uses its own method rather than Siri.

  • I have just got an iPad and I want the music to be transferred through my iPod touch using iCloud but I didn't get the music from iTunes so I don't think it will let me do it. Do you have any tips that could help me?

Only photos taken with the iPad, copied onto it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites etc can be deleted directly on the iPad - either via the trashcan icon in the top right corner if viewing the photo in full screen, or via the icon of the box with the arrow coming out of it in thumbnail view.
Photos that were synced from a computer are deleted by moving/removing/de-selecting them from where they were synced from and then re-syncing. If you want to remove them all then normally you could just sync an empty folder (in terms of photos) to the iPad, but as you don't want to sync at the moment you can't do that.
You can reset the iPad back to factory settings and start from scratch with it : Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content And Settings

  • Is there any way to connect disabled iPad to network via external software?

    Hello,
My iPad is disabled because of a Bluetooth mishap (my keyboard in my coat pocket tried to enter my password too many times). So I can't enter my password on the screen. Unfortunately I didn't back up the last few weeks of documents in any way, via either iCloud or syncing. And I just can't erase all the work I've done--it's irreplaceable to me.
Is there any way to connect the iPad to a WiFi network through external software, maybe using the lightning connector?
I ask because in iCloud I marked the iPad as Lost (in Find My iPhone), so I may get another chance at entering my password if the iPad can get online to receive the signal. But because it's disabled it won't connect to a network.
    Many thanks for any help!

Not a big surprise unfortunately...  time to get an iPhone I guess!
    Thanks for the answer Sir!

  • Cannot display the screen of the macbook on TV. OS is Lion 10.7.2. Connection to the TV is over HDMI cable.  TV shows only the backgroud picture of Lion. Do you have any suggestions for help ?

Cannot display the screen of my macbook on TV. OS is Lion 10.7.2. The Macbook is connected to the TV is over HDMI cable.  TV shows only the backgroud picture of the Lion OS and reacts even to mission control. Do you have any suggestions for help ?

You have the display set in Extended Desktop mode. In System Preferences>Display on the MacBook screen there should be an Arrangement tab when you have the MacBook hooked up to the TV and both screens working. When you click the Arrangement tab do you see two monitors side by side? One of them will have a Menu Bar at the top. Just click on the Menu Bar and drag it to the second monitor. That will make the second monitor your main screen. You can now use your MacBook in Clamshell Mode with a wired or Bluetooth keyboard and mouse.  http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3131 When you disconnect from the TV your Menu Bar will automatically change back to the MacBook.
Or if you want to work on the MacBook screen while showing it on a TV you can check the Mirror Display box on the lower left hand side of the Arrangement tab under the two monitors box.

If you are having audio issues with your iPad, you may find the following article helpful (it is aimed at the iPhone, but the steps should be similar with the iPad):
