downgrade binutils package or rebuild excluding glibc21 emulation patch.

Having tried all proposed solutions found in the communities, but none of all didn't work !
I had no problem at all on my previous 4S with IO 7.0.2 , but since last week I get my brand new 5S with IO 7.0.4 & its only a mess to sync all my music on this phone . Latest Itunes is installed on my computer.....
All music albums are on my 5S, but marked with this red circle with a red dot in the middle ...
It's a shame that no solutions works & that Apple didn't react to help all the customers to fix this bug!
I hope that someone @ Apple will read this ....This may sound like a terrible solution, but have you tried switching the file format to .m4a (itunes default format) on all of your music?

iTunes fails to load. Message is "Service Apple Mobile Device failed to start. Verify you have sufficient privileges to start system services." Never had this problem before trying to install this upgrade. How do I fix this?
Dave, same problem here. And I did go in as admin to Administrative Tools, Services, Apple Mobile Devices and tried restarting the service. It seems there is a bug with the newest update, period. All of the normal "easy" steps don't work. Before I remove all of Apple's programs, including Bonjour....I'm running a full system scan.
But the answer will be to remove all of the Apple stuff, then reboot, then use whatever utility you have to remove all temp files...then go download and install it again. This has worked for several people (I read the thread before posting). Win 7 64bit. It just seems that Apple did not thoroughly test this new version. Period.
If Apple reads this...I have many computers...and whenever Apple wants to update something...it just about stops everything else that is going on. Total memory hog, even with 16G RAM and dual quad core processors. It has to learn to play nice with others.
After the scan and I'm sure an hour or two of work...I'll re-post.
Of course if you do image back-ups, as I do, you can simply restore your drive to its previous state and run the previous version of iTunes, declining the update, until Apple gets it right. Depending on the size of your drive, this could take hours. It is a matter of choice, of course. -

They might be able to. If it's an iPad 2 then it is still within the warranty period, so as long as it's due to accidental damage it might be fixed/replaced free of charge. Have you tried contacting Apple ? I don't know what country you are in, and whether you are near an Apple store, but you could try looking on this page for your service options.
Before you do that you could try a reset and see if it that helps : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons (assuming that it works) for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot. -

This is some built-in "protection" that was engineered into Shockwave some years ago. It means that SW will ignore the first 10 script errors then throw the dialogue you are seeing. You really will have to contact the developer of the content in question to have it fixed - there's nothing anyone else can do. The developer needs to replicate your error, determine the cause, rectify it and republish their movie

Can the IOS be manipulated so that you have to enter your pw for phone power down. This would prevent find iPhone from being shut off in case of loss or theft.
It could probably be done, but then the complaints would pile up asking "Why, oh why does Apple make me enter my password to SHUT MY PHONE OFF. APPLE, ARE YOU LISTENING?"
it also won't solve the problem, because there are many ways to disable Find my iPhone other than shutting it off:
Wrap in aluminum foil
Drop in a shoplifter's bag or backpack with a metal screen lining (Faraday shield)
Remove the SIM
Restore the phone -
In iCloud you have the ability to NOT format phone numbers of contacts; this ability is not available on the contacts of iPhone. If I set-up a phone number in iCloud with NO parenthesis, ex. 123- 456-7899, then this format should be available on the iPhone contact.
That is correct is doesn't. Standardized formatting of phone numbers in the iOS app is more important because it supports contact from a variety of locations (gmail, hotmail, etc.). iCloud doesn't (not directly).

When I go to lead itunes on my computer I get a message that says "Apple mobile device" failed to start. Verify that you have sufficent privleges to start system services. What does this mean?
It means iTunes has failed to update propely. See Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.

I want to de-install mac-excel test version and get the error message: 'You have not the privileges to de-install. Please login with the Mac-OS account you have installed mac-excel originally'. I don't know this account anymore. Possibly it does not exist anymore. anybody out there who can help ?
Hi, I may suggest to activate the root account and try the uninstall process from that account. To do so, you have to:
Go to System Preferences a open up the Users pane;
On the left side of the pane, you shuold see Login Options;
Enabled editing option clicking on the lock (it will ask your password);
Once the pane is enabled, you should see something like Server Account Network (sorry my OS is in italian, so I don't exactly know the right translation), and right next to it a button;
Click on that button, and a new pane shows up. Click on Open Directory Utility, and on the upper bar of OS X click on Edit;
Select Enable Root Account (you can set a password, or not);
Done that, you should log out and when the login window show up, type on the user field "root" and the password you choose;
Theorically, from this account you will be able to unistall the application.
After completing your task, I reccomend you to disable the root account, just by loggin in your personal account and repeating the steps I described before. Hope it helps -

the guy i bought it from told me he would take car of any issues and of coarse the first one that comes up he hasn't been helpful at all.

That will install the original OS that the Mac shipped with. You can then register it under your AppleID and upgrade to Mavericks.

I bought a used iphone 4s, and when i try to activate my icloud account, it shows mw thw followin message:

Is there a solution?Each device can only create three free iCloud accounts. Once these are created, you cannot create another account on that device. You can only re-use one of the accounts previously created, or create a new account to use on another iOS device (running iOS 5 or higher) or Mac (running OS X Lion or higher), if you have one.

Are you aware of any problem with a previous purchase ? Poll: Do you have cold boot problem with SB X-FI Fatal1t

I have post a thread regarding the cold boot problem with SB X-FI Fatalty and OCZ GameXStream 600W SLI power supply combination. Apparently, no one has answer to that . In addition, I have recently RMA'd my psu and received a brand-new unit. The same problem still exists. If the problem is really with the power supply, doesn't matter what kind of the setup I have, I should still have the cold-boot problem. However, it doesn't seem like that. Doesn't matter what kind of cards I put on the motherboard, as long as the SB X-FI Fatalty card is there, there is cold boot problem (even with the setup of cpu, mother, ram, and the sound card only, WITHOUT video card and harddri've). And for other different setup without the SB X-FI Fatalty card, there is no cold boot. The cpu and memory are running at stock speed.

There is one user on the forum saying he has the same problem. Therefore, I think it might be the imcompatibility between the X-FI Fatalty and OCZ GameXStream PSU.
I would like to know how many people that has the same problem that I am having. So I can possibly narrow down the problem and contact OCZ tech support or creative tech support with more information. It would also be benefitical to those who have the same problem as I do.

I had troubles with my system, until I pulled out my X-Fi and replaced it with a non Creative Labs sound card. One of my troubles, which I incorrectly blamed on my powersupply was the ASUS A8R-MVP motherboard I had and the X-Fi XtremeMusic card, was after gaming for 4 hours, was the?sudden reboot of my system. Powersupply before, was an Antec TrueControl 2 550watt PSU. As it stands right now, I no longer have the parts mentioned and have a decent 700watt powersupply in my system, along with an ABIT AT8 32X motherboard. As you have probably seen there are a lot of problems with the X-Fi soundcards, and I in my right mind can't blame the motherboard, powersupply, motherboard chipset, ram, or any other component in ones system, if one is having trouble other than the X-Fi itself. I'll be honest, there is something quite frankly wrong with the X-Fi, and exactly what that is, I'll probably never know like most people.
