Do you have to repurchase videos to see them in the higher resolution?

Ive got a few videos purchased at 320x240. Now everything is at 640x480, do I have to repurchase the videos? How can I redownload without paying again?
That would be kind of silly.

Resolution is not controlled by DRM nor mentioned in the EULA. I would say at this point that it is safe to say that we simply disagree and leave it at that. I have stated how I feel and you have made your viewpoint known as well. I appreciate the intelligent discussion, but I still feel as if they should correct this. We aren't even talking about a format change here, just a software upgrade that affects our past purchases. I just think that if consumers keep supporting companies that are doing this, we are headed down a road where we will have to pay each time we want to hear a song or watch a video. I know that I don't look forward to this no matter how others feel.

Thanks for that. Much more constructive than the last comment. It's only the restriction code I can't recall, not the access passcode. So I can currently access the device, just not age restricted content. Does that's make a difference? I also wondered if anyone knew how many attempts you get to try to get it right. Now tried 21 times and so far nothing bad has happened but I am concerned I'll eventually be completely locked out of the device. That doesn't seem in the spirit of things though. Surely it's foreseeable that a child could repeatedly try to guess the code so I can't see that it would be right to lock the device down completely in that circumstance, particularly if the access code is being typed in correctly every time.

music from ITunes. That's the way it is suppose to
work. Now, do your purchased songs play using ITunes.
Play them, see if you get any warning. Next reload

Yes, they do play in iTunes. (And just in case you don't know, I am on my home computer where I originally set up my iPod.) When I hook up my iPod to my computer the songs are there on my ipod, while veiwing it on iTunes, and they play, they just won't play on my iPod. I have MTS files imported from a Canon HD cam. They import into I movie and I see them in the Finder folders and they preview fine. I have a new project and some of the clips are freezing and some audio is now gone? Do i need a file converter and convert

I have MTS video files that import from a Canon Vixia HF S20 HD camera. I imported into I Movie. They converted into MOV files and I see them in the movies folder in finder. They view fine and run through the events folder in Finder. In I Movie, I created a new project and used a "Theme". The project worked fine at first but then some clips started to freeze and some lost audio. The effected clips are the same in the project library and in the event library, meaning they are froze in both places. As I said when i view through finder the MOV files preview and work fine. Is this inherent to MTS files using in I movie. SHould i consider using a file converter to convert to MOV files prior to importing into I movie.
I found on Apple support site info that states the MTS files can only be imported through the camera. I am developing my back up procedures and now I am faced with backing up in the original MTS files but not being able to reload if necessary into I movie. Any suggestions?

I'd like to add that after I import these clips without thumbnails, iMovie does give me an error and say that they could not be imported. No explanation as to why, though. Again, they play fine on my camera.

Can you find any errors in Apache/Database log files?
Have you tried to bounce Apache (and the other application services if possible) and see if this helps? Also, you may compile all JSP files manually before you bring Apache up again.
Also, you may run AutoConfig and make sure it completes sucessfully.

With the iPad connected to the computer, while iTunes is running, click on the iPad name on the left side under devices. Click on the Movies tab and look for Movie Rentals. You want to "Move" the films to the iPad.

When syncing, check the Movies/TV Shows Tab in the iPhone menu, and make sure ALL movies are synced (or select the ones you want to sync)

Are you running the 9.0.1 Update of the program and on what computer operating system is it running?
Is your video card/graphics card driver up to date according to the manufacturer of the card?
Is your computer optimized, including maintenance of pile ups of preview files, conformed audio files, and conformed video files?
Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer with Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1?
What are your project settings and what are the properties of your source media? When you say that "used to be able to export...." is that on the same computer, same brand/model/settings for the camera recording the video now in use, same Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1?
Where player are you using for the playback of these exports?
Please give us more details on the size of the projects (then and now) as well as details of the customized export settings in your Share/Computer/ route. Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 is only a 32 bit application running in 32 bit or 64 bit system. Not sure if computer resources might be taxed more so now than before.

If doesn't work try use the instructions below BUT in BOTH folders, first in SourceList and after in the Media.
Start>Run put regedit and press Ok.
1. Go to the key: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\9B00314CD581E574FBCE93FE37F2911B\SourceLis t\Media
2. Right click in Media folder, select Permissions from the menu.
3. You will see that is no user, on the "Permissions for..." dialog box which appears next, press the "Add.." button and add in the "All"
4. Back on the first "Permissions for..." dialog box, click on each account in the top-list and make sure each has the "Full Control = Allow" and "Read = Allow" permissions
5. Click the "Advanced" button and the "Advanced Security Settings" dialog box appears
6. On the "Permissions tab" enable the checkmark box named "Replace all child object permissions with inheritable permissions from this object", then press the "Apply" button

How is your iPod configured to sync music from your iTunes library? In other words, what options and configurations do you have enabled from under the iPod's Summary and Music configuration panes in iTunes?

I got a few scenes (.mov) from a Canon Eos 70d.
I want to create a short film (in Premiere CS4) with these scenes, mixed with photos and MP3 music.

I don't know if this will work, but I'd try logging in to an admin account, going to your main library (not user library), opening it, opening Application Support, selecting iPhoto, hold down the command key and press i, click on the lock in the lower left, entering the password and making sure you have Read & Write privileges for System and Admin.
