Do you know an app to read books on my mac

hello
I need an app where I can read the books I've bought ibook store.
I read them in my IPAT and on my iphone but I need some app to read them on my macbook pro

If your Mac can be upgraded to the next version of OS X Mavericks that will be out in maybe two months, it has a version of iBooks for the Mac.
Otherwise, I know of no way to read iBooks on the Mac at this moment.

do you know any app that could block specific numbers on the iPhone?

Sorry, but the software development kit doesn't allow an app that sort of access and control. If you need to block a number, not just ignore it, that would be up to your cell carrier, so you'll need to talk to them.
    Regards.

Do you know any App to mirror my Ipad on TV?

Your iPad 2  does not need an app to Mirror. It does it on its own.  Just connect the iPad to the Tv either via one of the adapters. (Composite or HDMI) or Via an Apple TV.

  • Anyone know a free app for reading books from public library?

I found the name "OverDrive Media Console" on a site about readers, it's not available at the Mac app store. Do you know anything about a newer version? I will be using my Mac Mini, not an actual reader or tablet.

There is a mac version: OverDrive Media Console

  • HT4543 How do you know if the fan is working on the mac book pro

How can you tell if your fan is working on your mac book pro?  I cannot hear mine running and can't feel any air coming out. A couple of weeks ago, my battery literally exploded out of the case,  Is this an item that can be self serviced or does it require a trip to the Apple repair store?

Macbook pro fan usually has really LOW noise, and it is not really strong, so you might not feel the air.
Fans are used to cool the CPU and GPU, not batteries.
But if you need to replace fans or batteries, take it to the store. Make reservations to save time.

  • Why can't I read books on my mac computer?

I have the latest iTunes and automatic download enabled. If I buy a book or an audio book I want to be able to read it on my computer and not just my phone

So far Apple haven't made a Mac (nor PC) reader for them, so currently they can only be read in the iBooks app on an iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch - whether they will make a Mac version in the future nobody on here will know.
If you want to be able to read ebooks on your Mac then you could consider one of the other ebook readers/stores e.g. Amazon have a Mac version of their Kindle reader (though you won't be able to read ibooks in it)

  • I just bought a used 1st gen iPad and I want to know if I can read books on it

I tried to download the I book app available but it only runs with iOS 7. I have ios5. Is there an older iBook app available to download or will ios6 or 7 work?

If you can't locate a compatible iBooks then the Nook App from Barnes and Noble will run on iOS 5.
Check the App Store App for Nook.

  • TS1702 Can I run apps and read books on my PC?

I downloaded a free book but can't get it to open on my PC. What am I doing wrong?

You can't read it on a PC (or Mac) - ibooks can currently be read in the iBooks app on an iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.
Apps also can only be used on an iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch

  • Do you know an App to import Maps in FCP7

    Hello
I make my movies in FCP7 and want the total to look more interesting by adding maps of the regions I travelled. Is there a program (maybe Google) which I could download (or buy).
    Thanks for the help.

  • How do you transfer ical data and address book from a mac back up to an ipad?

    I have a HD back-up from my mom's dead imac g5.
I am sending her an iPad, and would LOVE to have here Address Book and iCal data so she has that all set up.

If you want to transfer a large amount of files, the best way would be to use an external drive. If you do not have one, consider the option of using Target Disk mode, so you just have to get a Thunderbolt cable; this is the fastest option.
To use Target Disk mode, connect the Thunderbolt to the MacBook Air and the MacBook Pro. Then, start up your MacBook Pro and hold the T key while it is starting up until you see the Thunderbolt icon in the display. Now, go to the MacBook Air, open a Finder window and you will see the MacBook Pro hard drive in the sidebar, so access to them and transfer the files you want to.

  • Hello , I want to ask some question about ipads \  How powerful is the iPad?  How useful is it for reading books, newspaper or magazines or for surfing the web? Can you identify any shortcomings of the device?   please help me :(

    Hello ,
I want to ask some question about ipads \
    How powerful is the iPad?
How useful is it for reading books, newspaper or magazines or for surfing the web?
Can you identify any shortcomings of the device?
    please help me

it's less powerful than your average computer. THink of it like a netbook but with a better processor.
It'll do fine for surfing (although if you browse a lot of flash based sites you will need to get a third party browser since safari doesn't accommodate it)
You may do OK on reading books, papers or magazines, especially if they have apps, but the ipad's screen is backlit, so it doesn't work well outdoors and you may need to fiddle with the brightness so that you don't get eye strain (it's just like doing too much reading from a computer screen)
I would say the biggest short comings are data transfer. Apple's preferred work flow is that everything is done via iTunes or the internet....well people dont' always have 100% reliable always on internet access so you can find yourself in a situation where you can't get things on/off the iPad.
By and large, it's a good device for day to day stuff, but is not a computer replacement.

  • Does anybody know an app which allows you to use your iPhone as CCTV

I am wondering if anybody knows an app which allows you to use your iPhone as a CCTV camera so I can view what is going on. Please if you know any app which allows you to use your iPhone as CCTV camera. Thanks I am really grateful.

There are serveral brands and models of security cameras, baby monitors and nanny-cams that have apps in the the app store.  They are designed to accomplish exactly what you are describing.  Each brand of camera has its own app.

  • Can you read books on Mac laptop that were purchased on iPod touch?

I bought a few books through ibooks on my Ipod touch, but there are some forms that I want to print and recipes that I would like to see in the bigger screen of my laptop, but although they show as purchased on my laptop I cannot open them to read them.

If you wish to read books on your Mac, get the Kindle App for Mac, and purchase books from the Amazon Kindle Store.
In contrast to the restrictive iBook format, Kindle books can be read on Mac, iOS devices, and many other platforms.
