The thing is that entered to my Macbook pro the DVD but it just look like if it's going to read the DVD, after that it eject it and I cannot see the files inside the DVD. I asked this question at answers.yahoo.com but nobody has explaind about. I don't know what to do, if I need to download a software that can read this or what to do!
Please explain me this
Thank you very much

Hello MartinR.
Thank you for answering question.
Well I don't have another dual-layer DVD to entered into my macbook what I can tell you is that my macbook with no problem can read other DVD about movies, or cd of music. There is no problem with.
Talking about the dual DVD. I can read this in a computer of windows with no problem and I can see the files .dmg and others, I cannot copy to an USB because it's about 7GB and I don't have one.

  • Do you know how much a partner can make referring a Cloud Service deal to Oracle?

As an OPN member, how much a partner can get paid for doing Oracle Cloud Services referrals?

For our SaaS products the referral fee is 10% of the total contract value up to $50K (to the partner). It is a great way to start in the cloud as you only need to be a member in good standing at any level to refer. Normal OMM (Open Market Model) rules apply, but consider it as a very low barrier to entry option.

  • MacBook Pro not reading some DVD's.

My 18 month old, 15" MacBook Pro refuses to read some DVD's, even a new DVD out of the packet. When I insert the disc I can hear the drive whir up but it doesn't whir up as far as it does when I put a DVD in that it will read. The drive just keeps whirring up and down and if I leave it eventually I get a message saying I have inserted a blank DVD but this usually appears after a good 5 minutes. The only way I can I remove the DVD is by restarting my MacBook whilst holding down the eject button.
    Any ideas?

You can also do the same in Disk Utility.  Open same up.
At the bottom left of the window, click on the purple button w/the "?" in the middle.

  • Can't burn DVD Double Layer : error 0x8002006e

    Hello,
I have a Powermac G5 2x2.5 Ghz bought one year ago (May 2005)
It includes a superdrive (Pioneer DVDR-109)
When I got the PowerMac, I manage to burn some DVDs DL without issue.
Now it is not working anymore.
When using Toast, it gives no error but the disk is never mounted when inserted.
When using Finder, I receive the error code 0x8002006E
What changed since my successfull attempt ? Well, a lot of things : upgrade to 10.4.6, upgrade from Toast 6.x to Toast 7.
This problem occurs ONLY with DVD DL, several brands and type.
I don't think this related to the 0x8002006E problem described in this forum because non DL DVD are burning OK
    Any help ?
    Thanks
    Seb

Given the nature of DVD DL media, it is more likely that dust will effect a burn than with other forms of media; it cannot hurt to run a DVD lens cleaning disc a couple of times. Lowering burn speed may also help.
You can check Pioneer's site for specific brands of DL media that they have tested with that drive.
If you want to upgrade the firmware, you will need FlashKit; google or search rpc1.org for more info.

Without knowing what you have tried please open System Preferences - Sharing - File Sharing and select File Sharing. If you still have trouble you can call AppleCare in the morning when they re-open. You have 90 days of telephone support if you haven't already bought AppleCare.

  • How can I export slideshows created in Aperture v3.3.2 from Mid-2009 MacBook Pro-17 to blank DVDs?

(Fifth futile attempt in two hours, before I learned there was a Post webpage – I’m new to ApSuppCom - and after I learned that I am not allowed to update previous content, so I had to back out, make a few changes, and start over.)  How can I export slideshows created in Aperture v3.3.2 (complete with superimposed captions and music tracks) from Mid-2009 MacBook Pro-17 to blank DVDs ?  (Some other specs: Mac OS Lion 10.7.5; Capacity 499.5 GB;  Processor 2.8 GHz Intel Core  2 Duo; Memory 4GB 1067 MHz DDR3; Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256MB)
I cannot do a copy (export) without various error messages appearing and the inevitable stoppage occurring.  Always with the DVD Video Player final message reading, “Supported disc not available.” Advisors and Mac Geniuses at local Apple Stores have told me to try Roxio Toast.  When I visited the Roxio website, and found numerous other company products, the descriptions all seemed to suggest that most of the apps shown can easily export videos to DVDs, but nothing was said about finished digital slide shows being exported.  At future events soon,  I hope to be handing out these finished DVDs (free) to the people in them.   Any help will be greatly appreciated. How can I export slideshows created in Aperture v3.3.2 (complete with superimposed captions and music tracks) from Mid-2009 MacBook Pro-17 to blank DVDs ?
Aperture cannot burn slideshows to a DVD.  It only can export a video of your slideshow.
In Aperture 3 you use the "Export" button in Aperture's slideshow project to render a video to a folder on your disk.
Then you use iDVD or another program to burn a video DVD.
I cannot do a copy (export) without various error messages appearing and the inevitable stoppage occurring.  Always with the DVD Video Player final message reading, “Supported disc not available.”
Could you please describe the exact steps that are causing these error messages?
How are you exporting your slideshow from Aperture? Which settings are you using? And how are you importing the video to iDVD or Toast to burn a video DVD?
For more suggestions see Karsten Schlüter's user tip: How to create a video-DVD? (Macs without iDVD)

    Hi there rainyri!
The easiest way for you to do this is to transfer the information to an external drive as an intermediary, then transfer the information from your drive to the internal drive on your iMac. We have an article that explains the steps for doing this, and it can be found here:

    Hello John...
You may have a Safari third party add on installed that was compatible with the previous version of Safari but not 5.1. Try troubleshooting > Safari: Unsupported third-party add-ons may cause Safari to unexpectedly quit or have performance issues

Depends on why it's ineligible.  If it's under 96 Kpbs, try right-clicking on the file and choosing Create AAC Version.  (If you don't see this option, go to iTunes>Preferences, click "Import Settings..." then choose "Import Using: AAC Encoder" and "Setting: iTunes Plus".)  Then rescan your library to see if this version will add to iTunes Match.  Or, after changing your import setting, just re-import the song to your iTunes library.
If the song is over 200 MB you would have to reduce it's size to make it eligible.
