Do you Know how to comunicate one Pc with mobile phones ??
I want to create a programm that connects my pc to my mobile and send to it some interesant applications. All that I made is a midlet (using Jsr-82) that tries to look for all the devices that are in a room but It couldn�t find anyone. Do I have to run something special in my mobile to be detected?
My Windows program detects 6 mobiles, but my program doesn�t detect anything. I want to make one program without MIDlet? Could anyone help me with some code? I only want one program that detects in my Wireless Toolkit all the mobiles, It could be possible ? If not, which program recommend me to use.
I know that there are too many questions but it is very interesting theme.
You imported one library to another?
Do you still have the original Library? If so, start over and do it right.
Trash the messed up library.
Copy the old library from the old machine.
Open the Library.

Do you know how to sort all except one column?
I implement the Comparator interface tosort the rows in my table.
The last row is a totals row which i want to keep at the bottom always.

My Comparator class has a compare method that takes
the two Objects that make up the table data to compare
them. It looks for column that was picked for sorting and
compares the values. Some of the columns contain String
data and some contain Double data.
So for example if I am comparing two Doubles and one of
them happens to be the value for the totals row how can I
detect this?

Have you tried returning a photo book that has a binding problem? I just ordered 2 large hardcover photobooks and one arrived with the inside binding messed up. Do you know how this can get corrected? They were over $80 and it seems they should not be flawed. I would appreciate any tips. lindajenkins

I just upgraded to Lion. I just installed iLife'11 last night. When I import photos into iMovie (version 9.0.4.) , it imports the same photo over and over as if it were the ones I selected. Not even one of the photos selected!! The thumbnais show that unselected photo, if I preview then I just see the preview screen all black.
I even tried making an iPhoto album and importing straight from there. Exact same thing. I have restarted the application, restarted the computer, and googled half-to-death. No answers.
Do any of you know how to fix this?
I am working on OS X Lion (10.7.1) , a 2009 15" MacBook Pro. 4GB Memory. 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. 4GB Memory 1067 MHz DDR3.

The names are for your benefit. The devices are identified by serial number in iTunes. iTunes knows which device is which no matter what you name the devices. It works the same way with iCloud. You can name all three devices Fred - and iTunes can tell them apart - but like I said, you want to give them different names for your benefit.

How do I drag multiple images simultaneously from Preview to Finder. I know how to do one at a time. However since I typically shoot at 12 frames per second, sports photography, I have a lot of images to move of one athlete while in motion.
(A personal footnote):
Why are you using Preview at all? I hardly ever use it for anything, finding it very limited.
I am only an amateur photographer, but I much prefer GraphicConverter which, for example, in batch mode would do much of what you ask.
IMO it is probably the best shareware application ever written for the Mac.

You need to go under the help menu option and sign out from Muse and then install it on the other computer that you want using the creative cloud desktop app.

I am trying to change my credit card details on Itunes as I have moved to NZ and closed down the credit card in Australia. There is $5 left to pay on the card. It will not let me update my address to NZ or put in my new credit card details. HELP!!!!!
It says I have to provide a credit card in the Australia before I can clear my $5 credit card debt and I have now cancelled my card in Australia and don't have another one!
Do you know how I can change my address to NZ and then change my billing to my new credit card in NZ and pay the $5 bill.

This sounds more like a Windows question, than a Firefox question. When you say that an image shows up every time you open your computer, do you mean every time you turn on your computer, or every time you start Firefox?

Hello My Fellow Flashophiles
So, I will bow down to you if you know how to help me with
this one.
I have a MovieClip in my Flash file which emulates a
signature being drawn by animating a mask that covers over a bit
more of the underlying bitmap (of the actual, static signature)
frame by frame. I'm interested in allowing the color of the static
signature in the bitmap to be set dynamically. Here's the
pseudocode I've come up with so far:
- Access the bitmap in the MovieClip
- Replace (somehow) every black pixel in the bitmap (the
signature is black, the background white) with a pixel that is the
chosen color
- addChild the MovieClip to the main timeline
I am also considering separating the bitmap from the
MovieClip and just setting the MovieClip as its mask
dynamically....
Any ideas on any part of this? You're rad!

So, yes, I decided it would be best to strip the bitmap out
of the mc. Instead, I load it programmatically, apply the threshold
method (I
knew there had to be such a function! -- thanks, Beech!),
then set the animation as the mask programmatically. Note to
Cbeech: the colors for both the bground and the signature are
selected via the sampling method you helped me with before.
