Do you know of a place in Delhi, India that sells adapter / surge protector

Last night in the hotel, first night in delhi and BOOM! All lights went out, surge protector smoked. Does anyone know what travel adapter and converter and surge procoter is needed and where in Delhi it would be available, a reliable source, brand new macbook and no power. please help lost in india.

I was just traveling in Delhi and several other parts of India with my MacBook. I'm no expert in this area, but I'll let you know what I had that worked. I took with me a power converter and a two prong and three prong adaptor. I ended up never using the power converter, because the MacBook's power brick can handle up to 240 volts, which is the voltage in India. So, I don't believe you need a power convertor as I had no trouble with my American MacBook. I didn't bring a surge protector, and that may or may not have been wise. We had one power outage, but the MacBook was not plugged in at the time. So, I am unfortunately little help as to a suggestion for that, but I managed to make it without one. If you are looking for an adaptor, I'd suggest a three-prong adaptor. Two prong (the same as the UK) works, but not in all outlets. The prong outlets appeared to be located everywhere.
As for a place to purchase these items- I noticed adaptors in the airport, but that probably is not accessible to you. I saw numerous electronics boutiques throughout India, and bought a firewire cable in one location- little shops like these probably have adaptors (and for cheap, too). I don't know where you are staying, but your hotel desk can probably recommend a place for the adaptors. The surge protector may be harder to find, but was also something I did not use.
As a completely unrelated suggestion, I'd suggest turning off your wireless capabilities as there are few networks to access, and it nearly halves your battery life. I turned off mine and got over 5 hours of battery life while I was traveling the country.

When we enter fb03 display finance document, and click "header" button, I can see the "entery by username". But we want the "enter by name" display in the initial screen of fb03.

Hi,
In FB03, first you need to navigate to the Document list and from there you can choose the use name in the dynamic selection. The user name will not come in the initial screen of FB03.
Alternatively, you can create a selection screen program which will have use name on the selection screen alongwith other fields and then pass on this selection details to the program RFBUEB00 selection data. Your ABAPer can do it for you.

My question is how do you find out what is the remaining cpacity on a partially recorded CD?

Another way is to insert the CD into the drive, let it mount on the desktop, click your mouse once on the CD/DVD icon and use the keyboard key combination Command-I.
This will tell you the capacity of the disc, how much was used and what was left of the CD's total capacity.

The older version is in demand, so you will have to shop around. A current search on eBay for a factory sealed Final Cut Studio 3 software packages shows prices from $400 to $1100.
If you don't already own a copy of Final Cut Studio, make sure you are buying a full version, not an upgrade version

How do you know what classes to use ?

This may sound daft - but how do you know what classes to use to do a particular task ? For example to do password-related stuff - how would I know which classes are all relevant to that ? Am I supposed to buy a book on the classes as the API documentation doesn't really tell you WHEN to use which classes.

If you're using JSP, then your password field is likely going to be implemented in HTML. So that's nothing to do with Java. (And you can't use a JPassword field in a JSP page.) But when that field comes back to your server, you may be using Java to authenticate it. Even there, the question is not yet what Java method you are going to use, but what methodology. You could have a database to authenticate against, or an LDAP directory. Or you could have the web server use its built-in authentication, which means you don't have to do any Java coding at all. And there are other ways.
So the question before yours is, how do you know what methodology to use? Again, that comes down to experience.

How do you know where your files are if you save them in the wrong place?

I have tons of video files for example.
I want to watch the video I downloaded off the net about airplanes.
I type in airplanes in spotlight, and many come up.
they are quicktime files.
but when I go to quicktime and try to delete by clicking on files, it does not
show me comprehensively where these files are stored.
Similarly, If i type in Geese, in spotlight, the same thing happens.
But geese, and airplanes are not near each other. Which brings me to wonder.
How many videos do I have stored in here anyway??
How do I find ALL my videos? And erase what I need to and store what I need to away in thier proper place?

Use the custom Find window, AKA "Smart Folder". See in the Finder menubar under the "File" menu the selection "New Smart Folder".
Typically files have an "extension", or a filename suffix that identifies what kind of file it is. Quicktime movies might have a ",mov" suffix, so type the suffix in the Smart Window search field or tell it to search "Kind" as "Movies".
When you get the window full of found files, select the ones you want to move and drag them to the "Movies" folder.

Lets look at MARKUP component in more detail.
The MARKUP Component
You can drag the Markup component Markup component icon from the Palette's Advanced category to the Visual Designer to create a standard HTML tag. The Markup component enables you to insert HTML elements into the JSP page in places that HTML is not permitted.
When you drop this component on a page in the Visual Designer, you cannot see it on the page until you set the tag property. You can see it in the Outline window and you can select it there to edit its properties in the Properties window.
Use the tag property to specify the type of HTML element to insert. For instance, to insert an <hr> tag, set the tag property to hr with no angle brackets and select the singleton property .
To provide compliance with XHTML, if the HTML element you are inserting is a singleton element, you must specify the singleton property, which causes a trailing /> to be generated in the rendered HTML. For example, the <br> element is a singleton element that must be rendered as
to make it XHTML compliant.
If you want to specify HTML attributes in addition to id and style for the element you are inserting, use the extraAttributes property.

Did You Know: Folders in iOS 7

Did you know that now with iOS 7, you not longer have a limit to the amount of apps you can have in 1 folder?? Previously you could only have 9 apps per folder but now that limit has been lifted!
Try and place as many of your favorite apps into one folder and see how many you can have in one folder

Mine does not. Is there a setting somewhere that I have missed? When I close an app in a folder the folder closes and I'm back on the desktop.
