Do you know what means the error -17502

Hi Victor,
What is the version of teststand you're using? How did you first encounter this error? I am trying to replicating this error on my side and would like to know when does this error occur?
Sometimes it is a possiblity that one of your registry keys located at HKEY_CURRENT_USER»SOFTWARE»NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS »TESTSTAND might have been corrupted. So deleting this folder should help getting rid of the error.
But since this is an issue, could you post your exported registry keys, so that we can investigate a little further into the issue. To export the registry key entry, right click on TestStand at ( HKEY_CURRENT_USER»SOFTWARE»NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS »TESTSTAND) and select export. Please attach this file here so that we could further take a look at it.
I hope to hear back from you soon.

    from some reason (i'm not sure why..) my whole iphoto library got deleted. I restored the whole library from my backup. Now all the photos are blank but steel have the photo info. (date, res., size etc.) Do you know what's the prob.? why can't i see my pics.

    It's says that file does not exist. How come? And why does it still show the image info.?
    Where can i find those files (i have a daily backup)
    The original image files are missing form your iPhoto library or iPhoto cannot find them, because the link to the originals has been broken. The image info is stored in the internal libraries, independent of the original files. That is, why you are still seeing them.
    I restored the whole library from my backup.
    Try restoring from an older backup, from before you first noticed the problem.
    How large is the library, that you restored? Is the file size large enough to hold all your photos, or has the size been reduced?  If the library is still large, the photos may still be inside, even if iPhoto cannot find them.
    It's says that file does not exist. How come?
    What happened, before your iPhoto library got deleted? Which applications have you been running, or which new software have installed or upgraded?  Have you moved the library to a different disk or tried to use it from different user account or access it over the network?

    Thanks for your precious help,

  • Why would it state under the "more about this mac" that i already have10.8.3 and then in the app store say i need to "resume" do you know what i mean? is it possible i already did download mountain lion entirely once? I am confused and don't want it twice

    why would it state under the "more about this mac" that i already have10.8.3 and then in the app store say i need to "resume" do you know what i mean? is it possible i already did download mountain lion entirely once? I am confused and don't want it twice

    This is cause by the way the App Store checks to see if an application is installed on your system.
    Basically when an app is installed it is in the Applications folder and this is where the MAS looks for them. So it looks at your purchase history for the apps you bought and looks in the Applications folder to see if they are installed. If an app is in your purchase history but not in the Applications folder the MAS says you need to install it.
    For normal apps this works fine but the OS doesn;t install into the Applications folder. So the MAS sees you have Mountain Lion in your purchase history but it's not in the Applications folder and so it says you need to download it.
    Hopefully one of these days Apple wil fix this.

  • HT2433 what does the error message that says " You are logged out because another computer is using this IP address." mean?

    what does the error message that says " You are logged out because another computer is using this IP address." mean?

    Some other piece of network ghardware on your home LAN (Local Area Network) is using the IP address your Mac is trying to use.
    Reboot both your modem and router, or the Modem/Router combo box you have, and all pieces of networking equipment, computers and printers, you have connected to your LAN.
    If you continue to get that error then it is a bug in OS X or you have your Mac set to a Static IP address that is being handed out by the routers DHCP server to some other device.

  • What do you think of my Bash Script? What about the error checking?

    Well what do you think of this Bash script
    It works
    I gave it some problems (i.e. unpluged the ethernet, messed up the URL's, uninstaled some programs...) to see if would report errors and stop or just keep going... But it did
    I just kind of thought up a way to do some error checking with the commands that I know.....
    What is a better way to do error checking?
    What do you think I should add/Do to this script?
    #!/bin/bash
    # Shell script to make a USB Tumb Drive for Flashing BIOS on a Lenovo Ideapad Y510.
    # This script needs to be owned and run as ROOT with the "sudo command"
    # i.e. sudo usbbiosflasher
    # If you have anyideas send me a PM on ubuntufourms.org my user name is HunterThomson
    # Name/Rename this script usbbiosflasher and save it to the ~/home directory.
    # Then run the command- chown root:root usbbiosflasher
    # Then run the command- chmod 755 usbbiosflasher
    # Then copy the script to the directory /usr/bin.
    # Run this comand to do that- sudo cp ~/usbbiosflasher /usr/bin
    # You also must have the program "mbr" installed
    # You can install the mbr program by running this comand in the shell on Ubuntu
    # sudo apt-get install mbr
    # In Arch Linux you have to get it from Aur
    # First you will need to know a few things...
    # You will also need to know the Mount Point i.e. /media/disk and the /dev path i.e. /dev/sdb1.
    # You can find these by using the df -T comand.
    # Run df -T in the shell. Then plug in the USB Thumb Drive and run the df -T comand agin.
    # The new listing is the USB Thumb Dirve.
    # Also check to make sure the File System tipe is vFAT or FAT16 or FAT32.
    # If it is not use gparted to format it to FAT32.

    Personally.....  (this is just how I would have written it - if it works, then it's good enough for me though )
    I would change this whole block:
    verify="n"
    while [ "$verify" != y ]
    do
    printf "Do you have mbr installed... yes or no?"
    read AN1
    echo ""
    printf "You answered... $AN1 I have installed mbr. Is this correct... y or n?"
    read verify
    done
    echo ""
    if [ "$AN1" == "no" ]
    then
    echo "Install mbr now. Then run this script agin"
    exit
    else
    echo "contunuing script"
    fi
    To this much shorter code:
    MBR='/usr/bin/install-mbr' # Or where ever you expect it to be
    if [ ! -x $MBR ] ; then
    echo "mbr doesn't appear to be installed."
    echo "If it is installed, check it's location, make sure it's executable and then make sure the MBR variable in this script is correct"
    exit 1
    fi
    I wouldn't have used the checkXX variables for each stage:
    mkdir ~/usbbiosfiles
    if [ $? != 0 ] ; then
    #failed
    echo "Could not \make directory usbbiosfiles"
    echo "look above \for \info"
    echo "Fix the problem and run this scrip agin"
    exit 1
    else
    echo "Made directory usbbiosfiles... OK"
    fi
    There is an issue with the way you do your verifications - the user can never get out unless they answer 'y' or hit CTRL+C. Something like this gives them options:
    verify="n"
    while [ "$verify" != "y" && "$verify" != "n" ]; do
    echo "You need to answer 'y'es or 'n'o"
    read verify
    echo $verify | tr "[:upper:]" "[:lower:]" # This converts the answer to lowercase so replies entered in upper case will still work
    done
    if [ $verify != 'y' ] ; then
    exit 1
    fi
    One last thing I try to do in scripts... Declare all your binaries as variables at the start of the program, then execute the binary program by using the variable. For example:
    # Binaries
    TAR='/bin/tar'
    CP='/bin/cp'
    CHMOD='/bin/chmod'
    # Execute tar and chmod the created file
    $TAR cvzf /tmp/tarfile.tar.gz /etc/*.conf
    $CHMOD 400 /etc/*.conf
    This way, it's easy to change the path in future without having to hunt through the script if the paths change, and it also ensures you're calling the programs using the full paths to make sure you're not executing some strange variant or alias that someone has setup. If I use `chmod` 30 times in a script, and the path changes in the future or on a different system (`chmod` is a bad example cause it's highly unlikely to change, but you know what I mean), then all you need to do is update the variable at the start of the script, and it all works again without having to script-hunt and change it 30 times.

  • Does anyone know what "video rendering error: -50" means?   I am trying to back up a movie i made on iMovie and get that message every time, about 30 times...

    Does anyone know what "video rendering error: -50" means?   I am trying to back up a movie i made on iMovie and get that message every time, about 30 times...   OSX10.9.2, iMovie 10.0.3, Toshiba externals 2TB etc

    Hi Babowa and Apple:
    Thanks for helping me.   Here is my workflow:
    I store any file that I save onto my external drives so that I don't fill up my main hard drive.....( I label each external hard drive by year + alpha, such as 14a, 14b etc.)  Is that a problem?   Any suggestions?
    I know iMovie works from the main iMac HD and therefore needs to find the file that I want in the external drive, such as when I "import" a file from an external such as 14a into iMovie that has been previously downloaded onto the external 14a (I download all SD cards & tapes to externals)......and it sounds like you're saying that is causing iMovie problems because the file is not so easily accessible for iMovie?
    I assume that iMovie processes the file that I have "imported" into an "iMovie Event" on my iMac HD.  I label that version as say "NLGE 3000E" for my 3000th movie, Event version, "events" that is always rough.
    After I have imported media as an event and have labeled an event, "NLGE 3000E,"  then I go to "new movie" that I assume is a "project".....and I label that version "NLGE 3000P1"...."P" for "project" and "1" for the first edition....also to help me keep track of where my movies go.   I focus on "Projects" then when editing ...and watch which edition I am editing and which edition appears where.
    I learned that I need to "share" all movies from "Projects" to save......and store my final versions on my external drive, 14a (eg) so that I am sure that I have a retrievable copy.   I try to share to YouTube from iMovie and succeeded 1/10 tries.
    Evidently a movie is not saved unless it is in "theater"?
    Please see next "reply" for other comments about retrieval.
    Thanks.

  • Hello, I have a question regarding the sharing/exporting on imovie. Whenever I click the share button all the normal options pop up, but when I actually click where I want to share it to nothing happens.  If you know what's wrong please let me know.

    Hello,  I have a question regarding the sharing on iMovie.  I have just recently purchased an Elgato Gaming Capture HD and I then finished my recording with that and put it into imovie.  I worked long and hard on the project and when I go click the share feature on iMovie all the noral options pop up and when I actually click where I want to share it to nothing at all happens.  If you know what is wrong/ what I am doing wrong please let me know.
    Thank you.
    PS:  I am using iMovie 10.0.6.

    /*line 957 error */
         public void select()
              for (count = 0; count <= p; count ++ )
                   if(P[count] != null){ /* validation */
                   m = (int)(P[count].getX());
                   n = (int)(P[count].getY());
                   if (Math.pow(-1, m + n) == 1)
                        piece[m][n].setBackground(wselect);
                   else
                        piece[m][n].setBackground(bselect);
              step = 2;
         }

    Im getting error 2 when tryig to download ITUNES with windows 7, you know what i can do?

    For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
    The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
    Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

  • Do you know what it means when messages are blue on iphone, do you know what it means when messages are blue on iphone

    do you know what it means when messages are blue on iphone

    Green messages are normal SMS messages and consume your carrier's SMS plan messages. Blue messages are those sent via the new iMessage service and are sent over a wifi or data connection. They do not count toward SMS limits, and can be sent to anyone with iMessage activated on any iDevice - iPhone, iPad, or iPod.

    Could be me, but your VI is not working properly on the english version of LV. Can I suggest you to try programming in English in the future?
    Yes, it's you. The VI is working just fine, except for some cosmetic issues with the labeling. I don't think is is a valid suggestion to force somebody to program in a specific language, especially since LabVIEW supports all these languages.
    Here are the problems with the VI:
    If you don't want an amplitude of zero, you need to set the amplitude control to a nonzero value before running. Simple as that!. (You could also set the input range for the amplitude control to exclude zero or use a case structure to skip certain code if the amplitude is zero).
    You could also wire the error output to an indicator so it simply displays the errors, but keeps running.
    Your while loop is currently useless. You can delete it and the program function will not change. Use a stop button at the loop condition.
    Your while loop needs some timing so it runs at a reasonable rate. Either add a small wait or configure the signal generation to "simulate acquisition timing" instead of "run as fast as possible".
    LabVIEW Champion . Do more with less code and in less time .
