  You need 802.11 N hardware to be able to receive those kinds of speeds, as well as the broadband service. I do not think the G5s support wireless N...

  We just bought a new computer for my daughter and she needs to set up iTunes.  The problem is that our account says there's five computers already authorized and we only have three in the house.  How can I deauthorize the ones we no longer own or have?  Only options at the sight are, deautorize all or this computer.

  You will need to de-authorize all your computers, then re-authorize the ones that need it.

  you are entitled to two concurrent installations/activations with your one license, but if you don't need cs6 on your old computer, deactivate (help>deactivate) it.
  when your new computer arrives install (do not move/transfer/copy/etc) cs6 on your new computer and activate it with your serial number.

  Just to give you an idea...the iPad has been out since early April and the first SW update was made available earlier this month (mostly to fix WiFi issues that some people were having). Many of us are anxiously awaiting the release of iOS4 sometime this fall. Whether there will be any further 3.x releases between now and then is anybody's guess.
  So besides the occasional SW update (say, every couple of months), how often you need to connect to a computer will depend on how often you need to backup purchased content or transfer content from your iTunes library, or other files/photos to your iPad. I usually sync my iPad anytime I purchase or update an app, which is generally once or twice a week, or when I want to add or swap out music, movies or photos (generally less than once a week). YMMV.

  In this complicated case, I think it's important that you get your work in.
  The Photography Plan includes Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CC. Open an account with them and for $10 a month you can be back in business which I think nets you more than $10. It's what I do. You can do this immediately. You get two seats and they can be either Mac or PC.
  In your spare time you can sort out the license issue and cancel the plan later on if this is fixed.
  If you don't want to go there, then you will have to call Customer Service by phone and hope they can fix this.

  You have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
  Pages 5 is in your Applications folder.
  Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
  You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
  Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
  Pages 5 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
  Pages 5 can not open Pages 5.1 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
  Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
  Anything that is saved to iCloud is also converted to Pages 5 files.
  All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
  Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
  Note: Apple has removed over 90 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

  Archive/trash Pages 5, after exporting all Pages 5 files to Pages '09 or Word .docx, and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.

  I wonder if you are running an OS earlier than 10.9.x?  If so, you cannot run the *latest* version of Pages, which is 5.1.  Apple is trying to get you to update your OS to 10.9 Mavericks and then get you to update (but defintiely not upgrade) your Pages version to 5.1.  5.1 is, in everything but name, beta software. It not only has many bugs, it also lacks more than 90 features that are present in version 4.3 ("Pages 09"). One workaround that is to open the file with Pages for icloud (this is explcitly beta) and click tools|download a copy in Word format.  Pages 4.3, which is probably the version you have, can open Word documents.  Get a cup of coffee or a glass of wine before starting Pages for icloud: it is s-l-o-w.

  What this message means is that you have more music in your itunes library than there is free space in your ipod.
  I had this same issue at one time. This is what helped me put my music on the ipod. I used manually manage.
