Do you need help verifying your APPLE ID for ICloud? Easy solution is now available!

After calling Apple Support and speaking to the expert, we were not able to resolve an issue where we were not getting a verification email for ICloud. Support had no way to access any Apple ID. (This was last Friday, Oct. 14.)  We went for a One-to-One lesson this am. While the Apple insturtor did not have the answer, he contacted one of the resident Genii.  I was called by the Genius who told me that the problem was solved! 
Simply contact the local Apple store and make an appointment to "fix" your verification issue.  (If you are lucky, they may take your information and do it over the phone!)

If the password for your old ID does not work when you try to delete the account and turn off Find My iPhone, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

    Having the same problem since Thursday.
    Calling apple won't help, going to the apple store won't help, and for some reason, itunes support will not respond to emails.
    AND NOW, the "my apple id" website doesn't seem to work.
    Apple likes to keep silent about things, hopefully they will resolve this soon before it gets out of hand.

    I have had one email address as my Apple ID for App store, itunes and icloud for all my devices (MacBook pro, iMac, iPhone4 and iPad2).  Recently I changed nettwork/internett operators and now I have big problems with my icloud.  My old email address and password has been shut down, and I had to create a new adress and password.  I successfully change my Apple ID and password for itunes and App store, but I can't change my Apple ID for icloud.  I am told that if I want to close down my icloud account on my MacBook Pro data will be lost.  (I have stored my documents on icloud too)  I keep getting a popup on my screen saying there is a problem with my Apple ID (the old email address) and that I should fill in my password.  If I fill in the password for this icloud ID (also my old Apple ID for  App store and itunes, I keep getting the message that it is invalid.   How do I get into icloud to manage and edit the Apple ID for icloud so that it works on my mac and all the other devices I have?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    You can't change your ID if it's a me/mac address, otherwise;
    Firstly, you need to change your details with Apple,  Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account.
    In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
    Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
    In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
    In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > store, scroll down and tap your ID)

    so the thing is when i want to download an app from the app store from my ipad 2, i was needed to verify the id thing, i followed the steps and everything was fine. even the apple id control panel says my id has been verified, but when i tried downloading again the same thing pops up.

    Try logging out of your iTunes Store account and then logging back in. If that doesn't help, you may need to contact Apple support to have them help you with that problem.

    I just got back home from Apple Repair Center. They have no idea in my problem either, and, suggested to re-install whole device. Well, if re-installing, I can do it by myself. Why do I need Repair Center do it?

    My iPhone 3GS has been used for two years more. Of course, the App Store Updates has been used many many times. No problem at all! Couple days ago, I found I was not allowed to update the apps. And, as previous message I wrote, my Apple ID is not correct and need to verify......
    After back and forward checking, I found the user's account has been change in Updates ONLY. The correct account shall be sytang0106@xxxxx, but, it becomes sytnag0106@xxxxx ONLY when I use Updates. The rest of functions, such as buy other apps, are remained in sytang0106@xxxxx still.
    I don't know where and whom I can report to.
    BTW, once I'm wondering the problem is caused by old iSO, therefore, I upgraded to 5.0.

  • How do you change your rescue email address if it's wrong and you need to update your security questions for your Apple I'D?

    When downloading apps I am asked for my apple ID which works but I can't get past the security questions. Then when I ask to reset the questions it sends an email to a rescue email address that no longer exists. Does anybody know where I can reset this email address?

    On your computer or safari on your iOS device navigate to:
              For Canada - https://appleid.apple.com/ca.
              For United States - https://appleid.apple.com/us/.
    Click the "Manage your Apple ID" button, and sign in to your iCloud account.  Once in, on the left side select "Password and Security", and this will populate our options on the right side.  You should see an option to reset your security questions.

    If for any reason you can not reset these security questions, or get an error, then you may need to contact Apple directly at 1 800 692 7753.  Explain the issue, and they can get your to a "Account Security" agent, who will be able to verify your identity, and assist in resetting the security questions.
