Do you think the download site getting slower and slower.
Maybe the whole OTN site is getting slower.
I remeber, originally(back to jdev 902 RC) I selecting Jdeveloper based on I was downloading the Visual Age for Java and Jdev at the same time and after several minutes, I got Jdev and then got Oracle 9i, but the downloadings of DB2 and VA4J are sluggish.
Though, I'm currently main using Netbeans and Eclipse, after 4 years I want to get Jdev1013 a try, I must to say time passes and the situation has changed:
(comparing with other IDE site)
1) the download step is too complex
2) the download speed is too slow
3) I could not use my "Download Manager" software now
4) the cycle of release is too long, lag support the new JDK, which is the main reason I have to switch to other IDE
here is not reprove but heaty hope you (the whole team) can be aware!
Actually, there are many features exist in Jdev and still lack in other IDE:
1) Visual JSP/HTML/... dev
2) JSP/HTML preview
3) Full supporting J2EE stack (though too tight binding OC4J)
4) WebStar support
5) One click deployment
6) easy for newbies

Since my G5 died I was thinking about getting a Mac Mini, but I have a ViewSonic Monitor (from 2004) and a USB keyboard and mouse - I also have the external drive that I downloaded my files on to. Do you think the monitor, keyboard and mouse will work on it? Would I have to get a hub so I could use the stuff I already have? Is that viewsonic too old to work on it?

The monitor will work if it has an HDMI, VGA ir DVI input. If it only has a VGA input you will need this adopter

Upgraded to FF4 sites were slow loading or not loading at all - then I discovered it downloads if I keep moving the cursor. If I stop moving the cursor the downloading stops or slows to a crawl again. What do I do so no need to keep having to move cursor?THE DOWNLOADING ICON STOPS MOVING UNLESS I KEEP MOVING THE CURSOR AROUND.

There are NO viruses that affect a Mac running OS X - none. FWIW, I suggest that you NOT buy A/V software. It is a waste of both money and computer resources.
Having said that, there are a couple of instances of malware that have popped up. Just don't follow links from unknown sources.

10.7.4 is the latest update of MacOS X Lion. Run Software Update in System Preferences.
Since you state to run 10.7.2, Software Update will have to use the combo updater to bring it up to 10.7.4. This will entail a large download that will take some time so have patience. I suggest the following steps:
Restart the Mac, press and hold Command-R to start up in Recovery Mode (More info: http://www.apple.com/macosx/recovery/ ).
If needed, select the desired language to move to the next screen (only if it is the first time in Recovery Mode).

Now run Software Update in System Preferences, choose to apply all missing updates. This will take quite awhile, depending on how fast your Internet connection is. The Mac will need to be restarted when the updating is done.
Run Software Update again to have Safari updated to the latest version. This is necessary since Safari 5.1.7 needs OS X 10.7.4 to be running already. -
When downloading photos in a series of tabs, the download site on my computer changes randomly.
I go to a site and click on photos opening each in a new tab. When I go to download each photo independently, many times the download file changes randomly and spontaneously. Sometimes it just reverts to my "My Download" file folder. I usually download the photos to my F: drive, an attached 2Tb disk. I create a folder and download the photo to that folder but sometimes it just goes to some other folder on my F: drive and sometimes to my "My Download" folder. I just want it to stay at the last folder created and not attempt to figure out where I want to save the photos.
The last used directory for the website (host) serving the file for download will be preselected in the file picker.
If no download directory for the current website (host) has been stored, <b>browser.download.lastDir</b> will be used.
You can disable this feature to remember a host based download directory by creating a new Boolean pref on the <b>about:config</b> page with the name <b>browser.download.lastDir.savePerSite</b> pref and set its value to false.

I have done several "attempted downloads, and see the full file download, typically taking 30 minutes to complete, and then something goes wrong.
I am happy to suspend AV and FW software, but would like to know if it is a good fix or not first?

Which I get. But clicking on that link you provided does not give you the option of choosing between 32 and 64 bit installers.
Yeah, that was certainly a 32-bit installer file being referred to in the other message, too. (The 64-bit installer file is called iTunes64Setup.exe.)
Just in case it's an issue with your normal browser not working properly with the system-detection equipment on the page (there's a javascript control that checks for operating system specifics, and is supposed to deliver the correct Mac or Windows installers), let's try a different web browser for the download. If you use Firefox instead of IE (or vice versa), do you get offered an iTunes64Setup.exe instead of an iTunesSetup.exe? -
Im not able to download movies and music purchased from my iTunes on my iPad iOS 6.1. The download begings to show and once the dowload appears 100% done, I get a message "unable to download". please help
You have to have an internet connection, either wireless or through a computer with iTunes. When you choose Software Update you can only update to the latest version for your iPod Touch, iOS 6.1.6

Plz help!!!In my opinion LabVIEW would be up to the task. However on important thing to note is that you can write inefficient code in any language. I would venture to guess that if you wrote the C++ code (sounds like you don't have much experience in that arena) there would be more risk of writing inefficient code than in a language you have experience with. In addition, LabVIEW makes it easy to support parallel processing which can improve your performance. Parallel programming in C++ is non-trivial. LabVIEW is a fully compiled language and doesn't suffer from performance hits you get from interpretive script languages.
BTW, the problem you described doesn't sound very taxing on a well written LabVIEW application.
You may want to look at some of the videos of the demos from this year's NI Week. There were some extremely powerful applications that very doing some very heavy duty number cruntching and data acquision.

I purchased the Bu Ray/Digital Copy of "Voyage of the Dawn Treader" today at Best Buy, but when attempt to install the digital copy, I get a message about 3 minutes into the download that says that the download has been interrupted, and to check available download in the store drop down menu in Itunes. Nothing there! The digital copy disc does not seem to play smoothly on my Imac, which may be the cause of the problem. What do I need to do to download the digital copy to my computer/Itunes?

have to go with more traditional design (HTML/CSS) and incorporate
small flash bits that will make it look more dinamic. But that is
just me. I have one suggestion - too much stuff man. I mean lots of
links all over, moving things around. I understand you wanted to go
for something dynamic and flashy but it is overwhelming to me! You
might want to consider developing some sort of consistency and keep
information/links/graphics bundled together so when one wants to
find a link they would move to the link area and so on. Anyway
looks great though for your first flash web.
