Do you think USB SB series have better performana

For SB series, there are actually internal and external types.
USB SB Audigy 2 NX is an example of external SB.
I used to think SB card is greater than USB one, as it has more functions than the latter.
But after I have installed SB audigy 4 to my PC, I encountered problems that maybe due to electric field.
A man from Creative Support Department has tried to answer me why there is crackle in the sound output with Electric Field.
He suggested me have at least one slot space between the Video card and SB card.
I adopted his suggestion, but the matter of crackle sound still exists.
The conclusion is that USB SB series should not cause any any electric field to affect the sound output quality of the PC.
So, why don't we choose USB Sound Blaster?
What do you think?

Right from the start, the ipad2 will run existing apps. In general, newly developed apps that take advantage of any new processor capabilities typically arrive slowly after the new hardware arrives. (not specific to Apple, but industry)
If you see delays in processing when you use the original iPad, you may see snappier response with the faster processor. I don't see much processing delay in daily use of my iPad.

  • So how many phones do you think the Stores will have?

Like the topic says, how many phones do you expect each store to have, roughly?
    I'm thinking *maybe* 30...
I hope more but.. obviously I'm not holding my breath against anything best buy believes in, ha.

I was told from one of the employees today that the East Side was Best Buy was getting "about 100" iPhones, so they expected to get about the same.
I was also told that they were going to get constant shipments throughout the week to fill the preorders, and also that since I got the confirmation email I don't have to wait in line... which is nice.

Do you think the monitor, keyboard and mouse will work on it? Would I have to get a hub so I could use the stuff I already have? Is that viewsonic too old to work on it?
What else would I need? Please advise...

    Yes for keyboard and mouse.
The monitor will work if it has an HDMI, VGA ir DVI input. If it only has a VGA input you will need this adopter

I want to share my internet connection with my iPhone via the usb cable. I have a Macbook pro. What do you think? Is this possible? And if yes, then how?
    If not why option available
    Thanks!

What Carolyn says is correct. You can, however, share an Internet connection with your iPhone wirelessly by turning in Internet sharing (found in System Preferences > Sharing.) If your MacBook Pro is already using a wireless connection, you can just connect to the same wireless network it is using.
    Best of luck.

  • Which external HD do you think it's better?Lacie?

which external HD do you think it's better in stablity and safe?
Lacie? Glyph? G-drive? Imomega? or other?

It isn't as easy as that, I'm afraid, music production. All of those makers produce a variety of models. personally I would be happy buying any of the LaCie, Glyph or G-drives, as long as they met my other specifications (FW 400, ideally FW 800 and an appropriate capacity) . They are all good drives.
Assuming you want to use them for music then it is worth noting that the Glyph drives generally have fans, which might not be a good thing in a music recording environment because of noise issues. Some of the LaCie's do and some don't , from memory. The Iomega "Ultramax" drives look as if they are fanless but I'm not sure about the others. Iomega make some good stuff and some not so good , in my experience.
The G-Drive looks as if it operates on similar principles to the OWC drives I mentioned earl;ier and I wouldn't be surprised if the ultimate manufacturer is one and the same.
You need to bear in mind that most external drive makers are really just assemblers. They use components from different manufacturers at different times, so you really need to check the specifications for the particular model you are considering.
But tell us more about what you need. Are you looking at a large drive, seperately powered, or a small portable drive powered by your computer, for example? What do you actually want to do with it?
    Cheers

  • Why would you think java is a better beginner language then c/c++ ???.

Why would you think java is a better beginner language then c/c++.That is if you think it is

1.)because it stear's you towards useing oop style programing.
since nearly everything relate's to object oriented programing.
2.)this forum alone. is a reason thier are comprehensive example's for beginers. and so many people many very freindly and dont mind answering a question. Other beginners are here also who share what they know with each other.
3.)learing curve for useing the language and geting started immediately is good.
4.)once you learn java and then goto c++ you have another probably better perspective on how to code.
5.)codeing in java avoids deconstructors pointers and direct manipulation of reference's. which can be very confuseing for beginers
and deals with variables that directly point to the computer's memory.
    and proper deallocation of memory.
though im just a begginer myself i started trying c++ and switched to java.
however thier are somethings in java that can be as complex as c++
when pointers or reference's are needed but not available.

  • I have OSX 10.7.5, my idvd is not working correctly.  Should I re-download this version again , do you think that it will help to improve the idvd operation?

I have OSX 10.7.5 on my imac, my idvd is not working correctly.  Should I re-download this version again , do you think that it will help to improve the idvd operation?

First, iDVD is not and never has been part of OS X. If iDVD is not working correctly, then you should investigate possible problems with that application, support files, preferences, or cache.
Of course you can always reinstall OS X if you wish:
Reinstalling Lion/Mountain Lion Without Erasing the Drive
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

Call of duty black ops has come out on mac, and the system requirements say 2.4ghz is needed, i only have 2.3ghz, do you think the game will run okay? thank you

This is too generic of a statement. They are working on support for the 2012 MacBook Pros and because of the better architecture in the 2012 machines a 2.3GHz machine may perform well.

  • Does anyone have problems occasionally with their slide to unlock on iphone 4s with the ios7 update? And do you think there will be a bug fix? Bit worried

    Hi everyone,
I've recently updated my iphone 4s with the ios7 update and there was a bug fix I also downloaded recently but I hadn't noticed anything wrong at the time. I know it's not happened that often today but does anyone have any problems with their 'slide to unlock' button and have to reload their iphone again? Do you think there'll be a bug fix for it? Just worried as it's not old and I have a feeling I shouldn't have bothered with the update at all.

Why would you think it's a bug?  If it were a bug EVERYONE would be having the same issue.
Basics from the user guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new.

YOu have not provided any system info and other technical details and your description is vague and confusing. You need to clarify and explain better.

I bought my first  iMac 27" i5 in November 2011 last year.
Do you think there would be a update that will Features a Retina Display, Siri etc ??
So my iMac will be the same as the new one that will be released this year,
Or will I have to buy a new iMac to get all these new updates ??
It would be a shame if I did because my iMac is only 6months old if that ..
Kind regards Simon Trott Apple user and proud of it

We're not allowed to speculate on future or rumoured Apple products, but we all know there'll always be newer tech coming along.
The iMac you have is an excellent machine, be happy with it and get a good few years use out of it. By the time your machine is slowing down, whatever comes next will have been updated numerous times.
    I had the 2011 i5 27" delivered about 3 weeks ago. It's a cracking machine

How big is your library?  I would recommend the following troubleshooting steps:
    - Backup your library.  Always a good idea before messing with things.
    - Create a new library.   Refer to this article for details:  http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1589.  This won't delete your old library, you're just creating a new empty one.  Also refer to this article to get back to your old library later.
    - Add a few albums into this new library.  Not everything, just a small sampling, as a test.
    - Activate Match on this new library.  You shouldn't have to re-pay, it should just say "Add Computer" or similar.
    - At this point, Match should run again. With just a few albums it should complete in just a few minutes.
If iTunes doesn't crash at this point, then likely there's something about your original library that Match doesn't like - what that is I don't know, but at least you'll know it's not your PC.   If iTunes still crashes, then if could be a number of other things, but probably not your library.   My next suggestion (if you haven't already done this) is to uninstall / reinstall iTunes.   If that doesn't work, then my next ideas you won't like.
