Do you want to submit Form#?

Not sure if I am doing something wrong but on my form I have a "Save Draft" button that will:
Set the column [Filename] if NUL
Set column [FinalizeNotice] to true (used to display a section with a message)
Submit using data connection to a SharePoint library
On a new form, if I use the Save Draft button I get prompted to "Do you want to submit form#? Is the form not saved/submitted complete via the rule on the button already? I can see in the library that the file is there and if I select
Don't Submit and reopen the file all the changes are there. Why is it prompting if there has not been any changes?
If I open the saved form from the library and make changes and use the Save Draft button it closes without the prompt, which is what I am expecting even on the new form. It is like the name to the form is not updating as I can see top ending of the InfoPath
filler is showing "Form## - Microsoft InfoPath" on a new form but it will show the actual filename on subsequent loads.

The new built-in method is to right-click the Back button, or click and hold, to drop down the history list. Someone created an add-on to restore the little drop-down icon if you prefer. (I haven't tried it myself.)

    These are your options:
    1. Restore the iPhoto library from the most recent backup that predates the issue.
Advantages: Always works, if library damage is causing the problem and the backup is intact.
Disadvantages: Impossible if you don't have a backup. All changes made since the backup are lost.
    2. Repair or rebuild the library. Be sure to back it up first.
Advantages: May solve the problem with no loss of data.
Disadvantages: May fail. May take a long time if the library is large.
    3. Scavenge the library with a third-party application called "iPhoto Library Manager," which you can find in a web search. From the application's menu bar (not the iPhoto menu bar), select Library ▹ Rebuild.
Advantages: All images should be preserved.
Disadvantages: All books, calendars, and slideshows will be lost.

  • Safari problem: iOS7 on iPad - Apple ID Support - Stuck on "Are you sure you want to submit this form again?"

Safari problem: iOS7 on iPad - Apple ID Support - Stuck on "Are you sure you want to submit this form again?"
Now Safari is totally stuck. Neither the "submit" nor the "cancel" button works.
Since verifying Apple ID requires Safari (Google Chrome doesn't work because verifying email links only to Safari), it is impossible for me to change my Apple ID preferences.
    HELP!!!!

Close Safari completely and reboot the iPad.
Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the Safari app and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

  • When ever I leave a site a drop down box appears " Are you sure you want to send form again?" " To re-open this page Safari must resend a form, this may sesult in duplicate purchases, comments, or other actions". It does it twice every time? *** is this?

When ever I leave a internet site an Apple drop down box appears that says,
" Are you sure you want to send form again?", " To Re-open this page Safari must resend a form. "This action might result in duplicate purchases, comments, or other actions".
The box has two options,... "Send", or " Don't send",...
I always hit the don't send button.
It always drops down twice now when it used to only drop down once.
*** is going on with that?

If anyone has a way of stopping Safari from doing this I'd appreciate the "how to".
I am on a website that has phpbb installed and when I do a search for new posts it shows them to me.
When I click on a post that I wish to read it shows me that post but if I hit back the server is set up to not allow multiple searches within a short time and the page returns "you cannot submit another search in such a short time".
If I understand what you're describing, that's a function of the phpbb forum, not something Safari is doing or can change.
A suggestion: Instead of just clicking on the posts you want to read, I would Command-click to open them in new tabs. Your page of search results will remain open in the first tab, so when you're finished reading the posts, you can close their tabs and return to your list of search results.

  • Excel sheet has modified data cells error - do you want to submit

Using smartview in office 2007 I often get trapped in a loop where each time I modify any data on the excel sheet I get the error "Excel sheet has modified data cells. Do you want to submit the modified data cells before proceeding?". Regardless if I choose yes or no I basically have to start a new instance of excel to clear the error.
For the most part I never use member select rather just type the members I want freehand in the excel workbook. Seems like the error arises after I insert or delete a row or column and then try to update the page.
If I "reset" the connection it seems to help but not all the time.

This may be the same issue as you are experiencing "When Trying to Copy Cells Between Excel Tabs Get Message "Excel Sheet has modified data cells do you want to submit the modified data?" [ID 1301092.1]"
The document is on "My Oracle Support"

  • Are you sure you want to send form again

Are you sure you want to send form again- How can I get ride of this message?

    HI Gregg,
From your Safari menu bar click Safari / Preferences then select the Security tab.
At the bottom of that window, deselect: Ask before sending a non-secure form from a secure website.
    Relaunch Safari.
If that doesn't do the job, open the Terminal app (Applications / Utilities)
Copy and paste the following command.
    defaults write com.apple.Safari DebugConfirmTossingUnsubmittedFormText NO
To undo this… same command but type Yes.

  • Are you sure you want send a form again?

Does anyone know if there is a way to change the Preferences to get rid of this idiot mini window that asks ,"are you sure you want send a form again?" It is a terribly annoying feature of Safari. Sort like something Microsoft would force on us.
    Thanks.

Safari's Preferences>Security> uncheck 'Ask before sending a non-secure form to a secure website'

  • How do you delete the submit form

How does one get rid of the submit button when creating a form in Acrobat?  When I create the form, I then click Distribute form and in that process the submit button is attached to the form.  I don't want that button on the form.
    Mahalo,
    Ms Moore

OK, just don't distribute the form then and the submit button won't be displayed. In saying this I'm assuming you have a copy of the form before you distributed it. If not, you can save a copy (File > Save a Copy) and I think that will take care of it, though you may have to delete some other (somewhat hidden) stuff in the document.
If the form needs to be filled and saved by Reader users, then you will have to Reader-enable the form. This is done automatically when you distribute a form, but you can do it separately by selecting in Acrobat 10: File > Save As > Reader Extended PDF > Enable Additional Features
If you're using Acrobat 9, you'd select: Advanced > Extend Features in Adobe Reader

  • Is it possible to remove the submit form button that's automatically created when you distribute a form?

I have created a form for my boss and distributed it. She doesn't want the submit form button to appear as people don't need to submit the form to anyone, just fill it in and keep a copy. I can't figure out how to remove this button. It's not one I've created, it's the one that it automatically generates when you don't have a submit button in your form. Is it possible to remove this button or do we just have to live with it? I am using Adobe Acrobat X Pro.
    Thanks

You can have more control on the email subject/ to and CC Email address, if you use a regular button and place the code in the click event.
Refer to the attached sample below.

Put the name of the page in the action attribute of the form, just like you always would :s
Or perhaps you mean that you want to submit to a different frame or something? In that case you use the target attribute and give it the name of the frame you want to submit to.

  • Submit form from PDF  - you must allow form central before it will submit

When you submit a form within a pdf document, it display "allow to connect to form central". You must click to allow before form will submit.
I think most people will not do this step. Is there a way to bipass that from coming up?
I would like to click submit button and have only the confirmation display.
    Thanks,
    Patti

  • What does this mean: "Are you sure you want to send a form again?"

I have a MacBook 10.4.11 (tiger) with Safari 3.1.1, everytime i use Safari, i always get this message when I click to back button to back a page:
"Are you sure you want to send a form again?
To open this page again, Safari must resend the form you completed to open the page the first time. This may cause the website to repeat actions it took the first time you sent the form."
What does that mean, and how can I fix it to make it stop popping up, because it's getting really annoying having to see that message frequently when I use the back button. This has been going on ever since I bought the computer (around december 2006), and I've been curious about what this means and wanting to fix it! please help..

  • Error in sharepoint 2010 designer while saving:"Content in the embedded form may be changed by the the server to remove unsafe content.Do you want to reload your page to see the results of the save? "

    Hi,
I am doing development  in sharepoint 2010 and facing this very weird problem.
If I create a site page with the sharepoint look and feel for that site and try to save the site page,i am getting this error:**"Content in the embedded form may be changed by the the server to remove unsafe content.Do you want to reload your page to see
the results of the save? "** and when i say reload, the server removes some parts of my page, e.g onclick event of html, asp buttons.
This error just comes for any sharepoint site page,e.g i took a copy of 'How To Read Library' page just edited the text part of taht page, and when i try to save this error again comes up.
However,if i create a simple aspx page with only htmltags like head body, then thr is no problem ,everything works great. But sharepoint look and feel pages are giving troubles while saving.
has anybody seen this earlier, what could be the reason for this?
    Thanks

I think the excerpt and link below is the why, but the page talks about server code and not javascript.  I guessing that this is why blank pages work, but not wiki pages.  Can anyone verify this?
The following are general rules for using server-side code on a site page.
If the page is uncustomized, server-side code is supported on the page.
If the page is customized, server-side code does not run, and the page does not render. This includes the code-behind for the page itself.
