Dock keeps restarting with mouse over

My dock keeps restarting when the mouse is over it. I've searched the web and i've found a lot of posts about this issue, and with a lot of sugestions, but none of them had solved this problem.
Anyone with the same problem, that had found a solution?

Try trashing the preference file and restarting (com.apple.dock.plist). You will have to reenter your personal preferences.

Interactive PDF with mouse-overs was created in Illustrator, now pauses and flashes when opened in Acrobat

I have created an interactive PDF using Illustrator that has mouse-overs. When i export the file and then open it in Acrobat there is odd pausing on teh image bewteen mousing over it and the text callout that shold then display. Did I export or save incorrectly?

I'm new to tech matters with Adobe/PDF/Nitro tho I've been using them for several years.
The original file was created by an agency and given to independent contractor to use. I don't know which program they used to create the form. And I don't know what XFA or LiveCycle Designer means because I'm not technically sophisticated unfortunately.
I used Nitro 6 to populate the data and have a number of forms already filled out, which I periodically open and modify and resubmit. But Nitro 6 is acting sick, despite reinstalling several times. I'm attempting to see if it's worth transitioning to Adobe Acrobat, i.e., can I reopen the forms I've populated and continue to work with them. I like some of the Adobe features for other purposes (e.g., OCR).
Any help in determining how to open the form while keeping the data?

Problem with mouse-over value on a column chart (by Series)

Hi.
First of all thanks for any offered tip.
I am having a problem with a column chart.
When I move the mouse over a column it should show a small pop-up (or tip) with the column name (series name) and the value (series value). The problem is that it displays an extra '1' just like the following:
SeriesName
1
X.XXX
How can I remove the extra '1' and only show the name and the value ?
The data is populated by series (manually added).

Yes. It looks like the '1' is coming from the X Axis labels. The chart that I have built does not require any labels on the X Axis, so this was not set (X-Axis labels: Empty). I tried setting this to an empty cell, but the '1' still appears in the mouse-over tip.
It is very weird. If I leave the X-Axis labels empty, I still get the '1' displayed which is very annoing.
Are there any solutions for this except the re-building the tip with a label a.k.a. '[customize the mouse over values|http://xcelsiusandme.blogspot.com/2009/07/xm-sample-7-customizing-mouse-over.html].'

WRT54G keeps restarting with Windows 7

Hi guys,, i realy need some help here,, i'm using laptop with Win 7 Home Premium + WRT54G ver 7. Every time i connect my laptop via LAN or wireless network, the WRT54G ver 7 keeps restarting by it self. I try to used another laptop with win xp and it works perfectly fine,,
How can i fix this?? can somebody help me??

Problem/bug with mouse over movieclips

Been facing an annoying problem at here: www.villielain.com
Different site sections are located in animated objects
(mostly glowing) and when you mouse-over them the bottom menubar
shows up. The problem is that, when you go fast over multiple
objects (for example tv - cross - wall), the menu bar won't go
away.
I've separate actionscript layer for the menu items and can
send the original open file if it helps.

Issue 1: If the user leaves the Flash area (and moves over to
the black html background in this case), Flash doesn't register a
RollOut event, because Flash isn't underneath your mouse to capture
it.
Issue 2: Another problem is that when you display a new menu,
your code should remove or override any menu that's currently
displayed, rather than just adding a new menu to the stage or
making a new item visible.
Issue 2 can be fixed with some improved code. Issue 1 is a
Flash (AS2) limitation, but there are some workarounds. You can
start a timer when a button is rolled over. If no rollout event is
triggered after the designated time has elapsed, you can check the
location of the mouse and perform a hit test with your button.
Solving issue 2 will also reduce the occurrences of issue 1.

I ended a task on Activity Monitor on my iMac and now my desktop and dock keep restarting?

So, I was on Activity Monitor trying to see how I could speed up my computer and I found this application which was using up a large percentage of my memory so I decided to end it. I can't remember what it was called but now every so often my desktop turns grey and the dock disappears then they both restart themselves. I'm pretty sure it's to do with me ending that task and not a virus. If it is a virus then tell me, if not then does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Sorry didn't mean to press this solved my question, yeah I've restarted it loads of times! It's been happening for a couple of months now it's really strange because it should just restart itself if it's that essential! But it's still not working-.-

Updated my iPad3 to iOS 6 but it keeps restarting with the message verifying update... please help!

I downloaded the new iOS 6 software to my iPad 3 but now a message keeps popping up and says "iOS 6 Update will be installed in 7 seconds and your iPad will restart when installation is finished." Then a message pops up that says, "Verifying update..." It does that for a few seconds and then the screen goes
to black and the Apple Logo will appear for a few seconds then the screen opens up to the start screen and the process starts all over again. It will not stop.

My mac pro early 2009 keeps restarting with an unknown error

CPU will start up and stay in log-in mode with no issues. Once you log in the CPU will stay on for a few minutes and then restart itself for no apparent reason.

Pull the system drive. Or try command R to get into Recovery Mode (or use Option key)
Try your backup clone. If you don't add that to your to do list and for now get out your OS X Install flash drive you saved and made or your DVD if you are on Snow Leopard.
System is one thing. CPU refers only to the processor(s), not the disk drive which sounds to be corrupt, not the gpu which also could be an issue on yoru Mac Pro model (tell us - 2008 3,1 or whatever it is).
Panic or Prohibitory sign could be further hardware issue, or just need to see if it will try with no hard drive and look for "?" a system to boot from.
Reset SMC also in cases like this.

TS1702 How do you get the press your luck app to download, it just keeps restarting the download over and over after it is almost done?

Just when it gets about finished downloadIng, the app restarts the download, and this process keeps going and going. I did everything that apple suggested, but nothing works. Acrobat Pro custom stamp keeps duplicating with mouse move

Using Acrobat X Pro if we add a custom stamp to a PDF document, every time we move the mouse (or onboard pointer) it duplicates the stamp in a new location. This is new behavior & didn't used to do this. Anyone ever see this before or know of a fix?

It sounds like you have the option to keep the stamp tool selected ticked on, which means that after you apply a stamp it will automatically generate a new one. If you want to disable it right-click the tool and untick the "Keep Tool Selected" option.

Music with mouse over

How do i have a sound snippet play when i hover over a piece of text or an image ? I have tried adding numerous pieces of code but I do not seem to be able to get an mp3 sound to play.

Start Personal Webserver (I use the name from the past when I had a web-, FTP-, mail- and Listserver on my Mac LC 14 years ago) and serve.
It's in System Preferences > Share
With iWeb 08 it is more cumbersome because you publish the whole folder again and again even when only one character on a page is changed.
One reason to upgrade to iWeb 09.
Anyway, you can either publish to the Sites folder in your home Directory or to the folder which is the root of the webserver.
/Library/Webserver/Documents/
I publish local to see how a page looks and behave. Then I move the page to the Site I publish remotely.
With iWeb 09 you can do the same in one go. Change to publish to folder and then change back to FTP and/or MobileMe. One Site with three option to publish. iWeb remembers the settings.
Besides the convenience of publishing with iWeb 09, I also have my domainname configured to my Mac at home.

IMac suddenly keeps restarting with no warning!?

So last week my 27" iMac suddenly starts rebooting with no warning. Very frustrating. Have zapped PRAM and reset SMU... still happening. Can't track it to anything repeatable when it happens... any program, any time. Happens randomly... some days 3-4 times, some days 1. Have 4 GB of DDR2 SDRAM installed, but running full CS suite daily... perhaps bad RAM. Can it go bad? It's been fine for well over a year since new and it's been my experience that if RAM is bad, it's bad right away.
Should mention that I'm a daily Mac user for 20+ yrs (designer) and feel fairly comfortable diagnosing and solving any issues, but this one has me stumped.

I'm not sure about the original poster's "graphite" iMac, but if your "2nd gen" iMac refers to a "tray-loader" (CD goes in on a tray not a slot), you probably have the same problem I had... Later slot-loader iMacs many have similar problems, but I don't have first hand experience with them.
The most likely cause of the problem is a bad analog video board, specifically the part on it called the "flyback transformer." Do and Google search on "analog video flyback imac" and you should see some useful results.
When my iMac's board went bad, it stated to shut off for no reason. Eventually, it would not even start up. Actually, one other symptom is a "sparking" noise and momentary "jerking" of the screen image. For me, this started happening a few months before the shut off problem started. Unfortunately, replacing the part is somewhat difficult (requires almost full disassembly), and since you would likely be replacing the bad part with a used part from eBay, the replacement is likely to fail too. This is a very common "first failure" for these old iMacs. I think the iMac is designed to shut off or not turn on as a safety feature when the video board is bad. However, if you disconnect the internal video cable (you may have seen it when you upgraded memory), it may start up.
I turned my broken iMac into a "headless" machine by pulling out and reassembling the essential "non-CRT-related" parts on a shelf, connected to and above a very nice 19-inch CRT display (1280x960 at millions of colors). I'm using it now, and it works very well (Mac OS X 10.3.9).

JSwing code errors with mouse over

Basically this code is set up to change the background of Jtextfield when the Jtextfield contains the cursor. But, it seems that i have issues because it only works if the cursor is in the upper corner of my window frame. I think it has something to do with my hiearchy, but am unsure how to fix.. help will greatly be apreciated.
