But still it remains to the right ://
Can anyone help please ?

It sounds like the "Zoom" feature is being activated. Check in "System Preferences">"Universal Access" to make sure it's off. You can also turn it on or off with the key combination "Option, Command, Number 8"

You are probably inadvertently swiping to another full-screen app. Are you using a magic trackpad? Does this happen without you touching anything?

  • Dock/Display shifts to the right?

My macbook 2.1 display goes whacko and the dock shifts to the right and sinks half way below the bottom of the screen. If I move the cursor to the right hand edge of the screen the screen begins rolling continuously to the left.
In frustration I walked away and come back to find everything centered. It is doing this repeatedly.

  • How do you adjust Firefox to print what is on email page without adding a 1 inch left marghin to that page as it cuts off some of the right side of the page?

When I receive an email the page often has a certificate that I would like to print. Using the print function at the top of the page brings up the email as a page as it looks in my web email. When I hit the print button on that page there is always a 1 inch margin added to the printed page cutting off the right side of the desired page to be printed.
My printer accepts what ever I send it from word, pdf files as they appear on the screen, Why doe Firefox not send the same images as is displayed to the printer?
This seems to occur whenever the screen shows an image that is almost border to border and not text. When a margin is part of the email message or it is text this doesn't seem to occur.
HELP Please. I really need to be able to print what is displayed to print the proper document.
    Thanks

Some pages add their own margin to the minimum margin set in Page Setup. First you might reduce the margin here:
Alt+f (displays the classic File menu) > Page Setup > Margins & Header/Footer tab
Second, you could try using Shrink to Fit. However, if the image is a background image rather than part of the content of the page, that might not have any effect.

  • My Itunes software, when activated, cuts off 3" of the right portion and 1" of the bottom of the screen. Everything available in this section of the screes is not available, making the software practically unusable. Has this happened to anyone out there a

My Itunes software, when activated, shows an image on the screen of the normal itunes image except that about 3" of the image is cut off on the right side of the screen and about 1" of the bottom. All functions shown work. Any function in the part of the screen that is not shown, is not available, making the softwave almost nonfunctionable. When I upgrade, this is usually resolved, until it starts happening again. Since I currently have the latest version of Itunes, I cannot try this solution, which is only temperary anyway. Can anyone help me?

Could you post a screenshot of the display for us please, bili?
Save the screenshot in an image file, start a new reply here, and use the wee camera icon at the top of the reply window to insert the image file into the reply.

  • Has anyone tried emailing after the Yosemite upgrade?  The size of the email pane is enormous and cannot be resized so I cannot see what I am typing as it disappears off screen to the right.  This must surely be a fault?

The email window pane is huge and disappears off screen and I have not found any way to resize it.  This means I cannot see what I am typing as the text disappears to the right off the screen.  Only way to see what you are typing is to drag the pane to the left and then back again when the cursor moves to a new line.  This surely must be a fault with the new Yosemite OS X?

Thanks, Bee!  I never knew that one--it does resize the screen.  But, what I want to do is resize it from the corner, or from the side, or from the top.  I'd like to move it to another place on the page, if I need to. The bigger problem is that I can no longer click and drag to highlight a word or phrase, etc.  Both of these things happened in Office and in Safari after I downloaded Yosemite. I feel sure that it is just some little trick like the one you suggested or some box that I need to tick to get things working like I've always known them to be.  Thanks for any help you can give...

  • When I expand a photo it will slide off screen to the right and won't stay centered

When I expand a photo it will slide of the screen to the right and won't stay centered. It also very hard to get to the close button when this happens which is bottom right of picture.

    Hello MCoyne50,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!
It sounds like when you are viewing a photo in the Safari app and you zoom in on it, the photo moves to the right on its own and it cannot be moved back.
I would try a couple of things here.
First quit all the apps that art running and then restart the phone to test the issue again.
From the Home screen, click the Home button twice.
Tap and hold on the app.
When it starts to jiggle, tap the - to close it.
Double-click the Home button and try opening the app again.
From: iOS: Force an app to close
              http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5137
    Then
    Restarting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

You probably have to first search your text for a <TR> tag to insert rows above, (place your new row text infront of the tag), or search for a </TR> tag to insert rows below, (place new row text after the tag). Otherwise you will be inserting the row in the middle of a cell.

  • CR Basic: Report off center to the right within ReportViewer (Windows 7)

    Scenario:
    Using Visual Studio 2008 Professional SP1 w/ Crystal Reports Basic SP1 on a Windows 7 x64 system.
A new project is created with a Report Viewer and a Report Document. Any data can be used for the document's data source for the purposes of reproducing this issue. The Viewer and Document were created via the Toolbox.
Once the Report Viewer has a report with data in it, the design view shows a large section of background visible to the left of the report within the Report Viewer. It's on the right of the Group Tree.
This issue was originally noticed while I was coding in an XP environment. The compiled software when run on my Windows 7 machine performed as above with an uncentered report. If the window is enlarged to the point the horizontal scroll bar disappears, there's no background to the right of the report and a huge amount on the left of the report as it expands as the window enlarges. The very same compiled package works correctly in Windows XP.
Screenshot of design view in Windows 7: [http://i55.tinypic.com/14abg8z.jpg]
    Can anyone help out please?

Thanks very much for your questions Don.
I've tried using the Microsoft XPS Document Writer as a default printer and also No Printer (configured in the report options). At the moment Windows is showing the XPS Document Writer as the Default Printer by the way.
The viewer is the default Crystal Report Viewer dragged onto the form from the Toolbox. CrystalDecisions.Windows.Forms is listed in my programs References when I check so I assume that is the viewer I'm using. Is there maybe an issue with the way VB is creating the viewer?
When I click the Preview tab while designing the report, it displays perfectly. Just a little background all the way around the report document as you would wish.
Many thanks again for your time. If I can provide any more information or perform any troubleshooting steps, please let me know and I will reply ASAP.

  • InDesign documents opening off-centre

    Hi,
Noticing a few bugs with the new CC apps and one that keeps cropping up is whenever I open an existing document (normally a landscape document) Indesign places it off-centre to the right of the screen. I've got the panels on the right docked to the right edge of the screen and the document isn't set to 'facing pages' which I know can sometimes create the same problem.
Not a major issue but just wondered if anyone gets the same problem and if there is a way to fix it.
    Thanks

  • Elements in my IDML file are off centre

Hello, I have a designer who sent me back an IDML file (he's on CS6, i'm on CS5). On my end about 1/3 of the pages in a 100 page document are off centre by the exact same amount.
What's bizarre is that some of the off-centre elements are based off of a Master Page, and the Master Page is perfectly fine. Some pages that use master page elements are fine, while other pages are off centre.
Any idea why this is happening?
Right now i'm going through the pages one-by-one and re-arranging the page elements...

The fact is that IDML is not a tool for collaborative workflows and this
is just the kind of thing that can happen and why everyone should be on
    the same version.

  • H.264 in Safari 6.0 displayed off centre

I've just upgraded my computer (Black MacBook, late 2006, Core 2 Duo) to Lion. After updating Safari to 6.0, H.264 videos are displayed off-centre. The frame will appear in the right location, but the actual content is displayed only in the top right corner. As a result, I can only see the bottom left corner of the video.
See the attached screenshot to see for yourself. It's taken from YouTube.
The same video in Flash container is played with no problem.
Anybody else is experiencing the same problem?
    Thanks!

Never mind. I found that ClickToPlugin extension caused this problem. I had an older version (2.4) that didn't work well with Safari 6.0. Updating it to 2.7 solved the problem.

  • Firefox always opens off centre?

Whenever I open Firefox, the entire browser screen is "off centre" to the left - cutting off part of the left side of the browser and so you can see part of the desktop below. I have to drag it back to the right on the horizontal axis to make it centre again. I am running the latest version of Firefox.
    == This happened ==
    Every time Firefox opened
== Not sure - about 2-3 weeks ago I think

Window sizes and positions are stored in [http://kb.mozillazine.org/localstore.rdf localstore.rdf] in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Profile Folder].
    See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Corrupt_localstore.rdf
(caution: do not delete the localstore.rdf file in the Firefox program installation folder)
    Note:
Deleting the file [http://kb.mozillazine.org/localstore.rdf localstore.rdf] will reset the customizations of the toolbars to the defaults.
You can rename ''localstore.rdf'' to '''localstore.rdf.sav''' to test if that solves it.
Then you can restore the customization by copying ''localstore.rdf.sav'' to ''localstore.rdf'' if it didn't work.

The HUD Inspector in Full Screen View seems to position at the right margin of the image as a default(?)  If I toggle the button in the top right of the HUD it 'unlocks' and I can drag it to where I prefer -- at the left margin; (for over a decade) my dock has resided at the right margin so all my slider manipulation over countless editing sessions in Aperture has been ingrained to work at the left margin -- but, the vast majority of the time, the HUD overlaps the image I am editing in this 'unlocked' mode.
Every occasionally I enter Full Screen View and it positions on the left margin *without* superimposition...(!) My great joy is modulated into aggravation, however, should my tracking cursor drift all the way 'out of bounds' -- to call in the hidden pane of adjacent images sequenced in the library... This dramatically shrinks the Full Screen display and re-locks the HUD; if I toggle the switch to re-xpand the image it re-positions at the right margin!!!!  I SOOoooooo wish I knew how to control the default 'locked' margin of the HUD in Full Screen View...

Drag it over to the Left. Then lock it there.
