Doctor who season 7 part 1 season pass

I purchased the season pass for doctor who season 7 part 1.  I only have the first five episodes available and can't find any more available for purchase anywhere on iTunes. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it?

These are user-to-user forums, nobody on here will know. But according to wikipedia the second part of the series is due to start showing here in the UK over Easter at the end of the month

I have the season pass to Doctor Who season 7 part 2 and just downloaded Hide, but the audio is VERY messed up.  How can this be fixed?

There is another thread about this here:

Tell iTunes store support if ithis is an isolated problem - they may need to re-encode the file if it's wrong.

Garmin is sending you to Apple because it is Apple that would have to give you a refund as the actual point of sale.  However, Apple states all sales are final.
Apple is sending you to Garmin because it is Garmin's fault their maps are out of date and Apple doesn't write the software.  They may not even be looking that deeply and simply perceiving it as a programming "bug" it is up to Garmin to solve.
Who know whose fault it is that Garmin isn't getting up to date data to put in their maps.
Ultimately I think you stand the best chance in getting a refund from Apple though it isn't guaranteed.  Apple is the cashier.  You just have to convince them this isn't just a line of code omitted from an application and isn't something that will be soon corrected by Garmin.  Make it clear it isn't a problem with the application running on your device, it is a problem with the data it contains.  Either that or you have to hope Garmin will feel so bad about it they will delve down into their slush fund and send you a refund.

  • Where is Doctor Who season 6 ep. 5?

Where is Doctor Who season 6 ep. 5? Its available on Amazon, why not itunes?

Who knows.  I'm very disappointed with Apple for this one.  I mean I've been loving the season pass, but if I don't even get a email soon I will not be buying season 6 part 2.
Yeah, same here, ignoring people and hoping they'll go away isn't the best customer service strategy.
Between this and one other channel nobody else but DirecTV has the US rights to (and I'm getting tired of these "rights holders" and their BS), I broke down and ordered the basic Direct package.
I doubt I'll be bothering with "season passes" anymore. iTunes simply isn't reliable. Though it wouldn't be nearly so bad if they'd *say* something. A simple "we're sorry, here's why it's delayed" would help.

  • Why is "The Stones Of Blood" missing from Series 16 of Classic Doctor Who TV seasons on iTunes Canada?

So on iTunes Canada I can get the first (THE RIBOS OPERATION), second (THE PIRATE PLANET), fourth (THE ANDROIDS OF TARA), fifth (THE POWER OF KROLL) and sixth (THE ARMAGEDDON FACTOR) arcs for the THE KEY TO TIME (16th series fo Classic Doctor Who)...but for some reason the 3rd (THE STONES OF BLOOD) is not available. I can't imagine it's a "rights" issue seeing as the rest of the series is on there for purchase and the producers, ect. were the samae on all of them.
Is there any reason why I can get that arc? Will it be avalable at any point in the future on Canadian iTunes?

We're just fellow users here and have no information as to why the episode might be missing, if it is. My guess would be some sort of rights hangup with a guest artist, the episode director, or something like that, but that's just a guess. You can try contacting the iTunes Store and asking:
    http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html
but I suspect that they'll have no information, at least none they can make public.

  • Doctor Who: Classic Series question

How can I find out when and if more Doctor Who: The Classic Series will be uploaded for purchases to iTunes? I have purchased all of the episodes that are on there currently, but see no way to be notified when new ones are added. Any help????
    Thanks

Sorry, but there's no way to know. Apple doesn't pre-announce additions (except for limited pre-orders on albums) and there aren't any alerts for specific shows except for season passes which don't really apply to the Dr. Who Classic shows where every full story is a "season".
You'll just have to keep checking back from time to time.
    Regards.

  • When does Itunes update Doctor Who?

The new episode, the Rebel Flesh, was premiered yesterday.  It's not in my season pass, and I feel kind of cheated.  Is this normal?  Do I have to wait a week for new episodes?

Same here! I bought the season pass, because I don't have cable. This is the only way I can watch the show. I have been getting up early on Sunday mornings to download the latest episode, and it's always been available. It is now 1 in the afternoon and the episode still is not listed in iTunes, and I haven't gotten any email saying a new download is available. I WANT MY DOCTOR WHO!!
Has anyone contacted tech support yet? They're usually pretty good.

  • ITunes re-downloading already downloaded Doctor Who episodes.

    Hello,
Everytime I am online, iTunes launches (because of an iPod touch on the same network) and tries to download some Doctor Who episode I purchased late last year (these episodes are from series, or seasons, 5 and 6 and are all SD because I did not want to pay for HD). I already have these episodes downloaded on the same PC this keeps happening on and I can watch the episodes fine. I live in a rural area with slow internet, so I would prefer not having it re-download these episodes (which took 5 hours to download, EACH)! Any way to fix this so I will not have to cancel the download everytime I go online with this PC? I am using a Windows 7 PC.
    Thanks!

    Anyone?

  • Graphics Glitch (scary like Doctor Who episode)

    Greetings,
    Regarding MacBook Pro 13" i7 (2011):
Yesterday I was watching Season 2, Episode 8 of Doctor Who titled "The Idiots Lantern" on Netflix Streaming via my XBOX. If you are familiar with that episode, the Doctor and Rose arrive in 1950s London during the queens coronation. They discovery that an entity inside televisions has been sucking peoples faces off. Great episode!
What was scary though was that, naturally, I was engrossed by the show and thus was not paying attention to my MacBook when it fell asleep. When I reached over to press the space bar (wake up!), the screen came on but looked much more menacing than usual. I took a photograph:
    http://www.flickr.com/photos/59517691@N05/5548248738/
Note that I was not watching Netflix on my MacBook Pro. The machine was sitting idle and fell asleep while doing nothing, as I expect it to. There was no interfacing between the computer and the XBOX/TV of any kind.
    My questions are this:
    A) Do you think that whatever was inside the TVs in Doctor Who could have got onto my TV and then transferred to my MBP? The Doctor ended up putting the entity onto a VHS and said he would tape over her but he didnt do that before my computer glitched.
B)Has anyone else experienced this problem? I had to force a restart and then the issue went away.
    Thanks much!

Over my sick days off I got more into Torchwood. So far, there is no overt mention of the Doctor, other then 'the right kind of doctor'. He hasn't appeared so far, and I'm on Season 2, Episode 2, through the Targus<sp> makes a cameo. There are a lot of sly references to Dr. Who, but you'd have to be a real Whoovian to get them - they are well hidden and never pointed out.
Overall, a perfect series for those looking for more 'realism' versus Dr. Who and a more serious, down to earth tone - essentially getting rid of the problems Dr. Who had per audience gripes without destroying the original series. Because, really, Dr. Who wouldn't be Dr. Who without some level of (quite appropriate) cheesiness.
After watching 10 episodes in a row while in the midst of a serious flu, and half out of my mind, I am finding myself speaking with a British accent without thinking about it.

  • When will the Doctor Who series 6 soundtrack be available in the US?

It's available on the iTunes UK site, as well as on AmazonUK, but I'd like to purchase the soundtrack of the latest Doctor Who season on iTunes' US page. Any details on when it'll be available?

I've been wondering the same thing. Comparing the release dates for the Series 5 soundtrack, it was released in the UK November 8, 2010 but wasn't released until February 8, 2011 in the US. Seeing that it's exactly three months later, I'd be willing to venture that there's some rule governing the release of media in the US that originates in the UK. So that could mean waiting till March for the new soundtrack, which I certainly hope is not the case. :\

  • Doctor Who On Demand - where is it?

Does anyone know what happened to this season of Doctor Who on BBC America on Demand? It was there 2 weeks ago. Now, it is gone. Why?

The shows available on demand are governed by the content providers.

  • Why did the price for Doctor Who double in less then a week?

Last week the price for Doctor Who (Seasons 1-4) were $10 each. Now they are $24-27 each.
I know they are trying to make a profit- but did it have to be such a drastic price change? i find it very frustrating.
i'm only sixteen and i could justify for buying ALL the Doctor Who seasons for like $78 but now its almost double that price.
    just one question Why?

It was likely a sale price that you saw last week and this week, it's back to the regular price.

  • Problem with Doctor Who: The Classic Series

Thank you for taking the time to look at this question.
I recently purchased "Doctor Who: Ghost Light" from iTunes, but when I downloaded it, the three episodes were placed in between the first three episodes of "Time and the Rani" on my copy of "The best of the Seventh Doctor". Is there a way that I can get the episodes of Ghost Light listed separately? I have already tried changing the artist name and the album name.
    Thank you.

You need to sit with them and watch. Then check it before they leave. Apparently they're hit and run not spending a minute more than they absolutely have to. This is largely due to the flat rate fee they get for a speific type of call or part swap.
So I ask you where are the caps then if they're not put on and they were there before?

  • Are the rest of the Colin Baker episodes of "Doctor Who" coming to iTunes?

They have every episode of his except for "Attack of the Cybermen" and "Revelation of the Daleks," and since he's my favorite Doctor I would really love to have all his episodes on my iTunes! Is there a reason those two story arcs aren't available? Is it some sort of rights thing? I can't say that seems likely as the DVDs of those two arcs are pretty common, but I'm more of an iTunes guy, now so if anyone has any information whether or not these last two remaining Classic Doctor Who stories from the sixth incarnation are coming to iTunes I'd be very happy to know when I can buy them!

Apple can only sell content that they have the rights to sell - unless the rights-holders pass those two stories to Apple and grant Apple a license to sell them in your country then Apple won't be able to sell them there. If/when that might happen we won't know - you can try requesting that they be added, but it needs the rights-holders to agree : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html
