what does it mean when we say Document, Header term in SAP?

hi,
in layman terms header items means if you take an example of any invoice or recept
thenit says some details that forms the header and details are mentioned below in detail.
like customer name, date , invoice number etc forms the header of the invoice.
and description of item bought, quantity, unit price , etc froms the details part.
same you can relate it to any document which is used to enter data in SAP forms.

    Hi Team,
    We are facing a issue with the pre assigned headers assigned by Adobe acrobat Pro Xl.
    Our actual requirement is as follows:
    1. As we convert a PDF to DOC there shouldn't be any pre assigned headers (header levels defined).
    2. DOC should be a normal Word document and we should be able to define the header style.
    We have tried working out on the same but nothing is going our way.
    We tried couple of step which are as follows:
    1. Deleting pre assigned TAG's.
    2. Clearing headers with the help of Touch Up Reading Order Tool (TURO).
    Request you to kindly revert on the same.

    You cannot control how Acrobat creates the word file.
    2. DOC should be a normal Word document and we should be able to define the header style.
    The word file is a normal Word document file. You may wish it was designed for it to be easiest to edit. Acrobat is making a Word file to most reliably resemble the original pdf file. I have no trouble creating any header style I want. The text in the header frequently consists of text boxes. Acrobat does this to insure accurate representation of the pdf file.

    Oddly, when one enters text that is a paragraph string longer than the width of the the page, the text doesn't wrap. There seems to be something a bit wonky with the margins, but perhaps it's something else. I fiddled with styles to see if I could control it, but to no avail. I'm giving up and boing back to '09. Each time I think I'll switch to iWork 5, I encounter some other restrictive feature that sends me scurrying back to '09.

    We verify  and compare everything.  it's the same everywhere except the document type of the invoice
    first case, F.13 create conciliation fi document with header and no items
    invoice ( doc. type YB )
    payment ( doc type ZT)
    conciliation ( doc type XZ )
    2th case, F.13 create conciliation fi document with header   and none items
    invoice ( doc. type YT )
    payment ( doc type ZT )
    conciliation ( doc type XZ )
    We match / compare  every fields and value  between invoice of 1st and 2tch case,  every fields and value between payment  of 1st and 2th case.
    ( we create  tests case in own integration system for reproduce  )
    We alse match / compare customizing of invoice type document YB and YT and  they seems identical...
    The procedure is the same with F.13 to do conciliation in both cases.
    we got same amount, same currency etc etc.
    We still didn't understand why with invoice type YT the conciliation document created is not the same as invoice type YB ...
    Nobody have idea ?

    SAP has differenciated various sales scenarios into various salses documents.  basing on the scenario & circumstances you will be having a sales document to use.
    sales document header:which carries the properties of a sales document lie CMR MMR CMIR & Pricing  conditions etc...
    this will be applicable to entire sales document
    by sales document we mean the total data carried by a particular document - header; item & schedule line data.  each carries its own information to complete the sales document with out errors.
    VBBE-VBELN= VBAK-VBELN  stands for schedles in the sales order document & document header.

    I have a scenario, where based on the Net value of the document, Valid To date of the Quotation and Payment Terms should auto populate.
    Ex: If Net value is above 5lks, then payment terms should be 100% with in 20 days from current day and valid to date is also 20 days from now. Like wise, if Net value is below 5lks, then payment terms and valid to date should be 10 days.

  • How to print material document in header level?

    Hi Guys,
    How to print material document from header level. I can only print them in item level. But i want that in header level. For example, I have 4 movements inside a material document and I want to issue only one output from the header level.
    I can see the option Goto -> Additional Function -> output, but it is disabled. Please let me know hot to acheive this and if you need further info on this. Please throw some light on this.

      Your question is not clear.  What exactly you want to be.
    1.  To print material header in your smart form / Sap Script what is the problem. Itu2019s quite easy you can do it. Let me know what problem you are facing.
    2. The option is disables because of business functionality ask your functional guys to help you on the same.

    I tried Peggy's List > Select All > Copy > Paste into an AW spreadsheet suggestion.
    In my case, pasting into the spreadsheet lost all text formatting (mostly text set to bold). The results of formulas were pasted, and checkboxes were pasted as "on" or "off". The DB did not contain any pop-up menus or radio buttons, but I expect they would transfer as a number showing the list position of the chosen item.
    Pasting the copied List view data into a Numbers table gave a result similar to that with AppleWorks. I selected B2 as the target cell (for top left cell of the pasted data) to avoid any effects of posting into a header row or column. Bold and regular text formatting looked the same as it had in AW's List view.
    Based on that, I'd slip the 'paste into an AppleWorks Spreadsheet step, and paste directly into a Numbers Table.

    User has below problem :
    SAP FI Output type SAP19
    Payment Terms print "Payment Due Immediately" rather than actual terms.
    i.e. invoice 208615 - payment terms US02 - should print "Net 60" however prints "Payment Due Immediately".
    Is this hard coded and if so, can it be corrected and when?
    Please advise.

    Using fb12, I am selecting customer invoice
    then in new popup I am giving  invoice number and fiscal year.  then it is giving message on status bar as 'customer invoice requested'.
    Then i am going to F.61 and executing by giving  in pop up -->correpspondence, company code, document number and  fiscal year.
    Then a spool is getting created and I am able to see the form output in /nsp01 where the error is occuring .
    Could you please suggest me hwo to find out the form name and driver program name.

              All tag libraries used within the JSP document are represented in the
              root element through additional xmlns attributes."
              This to me implies that namespace declarations occurring elsewhere in
              the document are not interpreted as tag libs and therefore should be
              handled like regular tags.

              As far as i can remember, this doesn't restrict the namespaces in themselves
              i.e not attached to any taglibs. Given a namespace which is not resolved as
              a taglib, it will be considered a standard namespace no? .. Am i missing
              something. Also which section and which PFD version of the spec are you
              looking at? It would be great if you can give a little more detail about the
              issue so it can be fixed in the spec if possible..
              I would also be interested in knowing how you are using the Jsp documents
              (in xml format) in general. (since I'm trying to get an insight into the
              various ways in which jsp Docs are being used by customers)

  • Line item and header records in the same infopackage

    Gurus,
    I wanted to check how can I make sure that I get all the line item documents in the same package with the header document record in the same infopackage? Is there some setting for that? If I am writing a custom extractore how can I make sure of this in ABAP?

    Dear AKBW,
    This is not very clear why you want to use same infopackage for line-item as well as header data. Normally there are 2 different datasources for line item and for header data.
    Say you are woking with Sales Order Data in ECC.
    So Line-item datasource for sales order data - 2LIS_11_VAITM
    and Header datasource for sales order data - 2LIS_11_VAHDR.
    Now as they are 2 different datasource, so you must need 2 different infopackages.
    Now if you have created one custom datasource in ECC, then just check if its extracting line-item level or header level data. Normally when we create any custom datasource, we try to make it line-item level, to have all the itemwise detail. Though its not mandatory.
    So if you have 2 different datasources (SAP or Custom), you definitely need 2 different infopackages.
    Please let me know, if you still have any more doubt. You can also give me the other detail of the custom datsource you are creating.( type, fields, what it is supposed to extract etc)..

    So the material document should be linked to the delivery
    The document flow:
    Delivery->Outgoing moviment->Delivery->Bill->FI invoinces
    If you start from FI:
    - Get the bill number from header data: BKPF-AWKEY
    - get the delivery number from bill item VBRP-VGBEL
    - get the document flow for the delivery: VBFA: here you can find out the material document

    If you would like to delete multiple documents then it is not possible.  Check OSS note 849742.

    Symptom
    You want to delete several physical inventory documents, but this involves too much manual work, as the documents must be deleted individually in MI02.
    Other terms
    MI02, delete physical inventory documents, SHDB, recording
    Reason and Prerequisites
    In the standard version, you can only delete inventory documents individually using Transaction MI02. A mass transaction or BAPI currently does not exist, and none is currently planned.
    Solution
    You can use standard functions to create a program that can delete several physical inventory documents at once. To do this:
    1. In Transaction SHDB, create a new recording using MI02.
    2. Also in SHDB, create a function module from the recording.
    3. Create a program based on this function module. Define the selection screen based on your needs. You can also create your own transaction for the program, if necessary.
    And I see the only way to delete the documents as per my knowledge is just MI02
