Document atatchment to PO/PR/RFQ

Can any body please suggest on can we attach a document to PR or PO or RFQ ??
Buyer prefer attaching a pdf file to quotation if possible, if not at least in PR/PO,
If yes please suggest how?

Dear Sasibhushan,
Go to PO on the top left which you can see icon name of "service for object". Click that and pop up windows appear. There you can see create button where you can make the necessary attachment. If you have any problem doing so, please refer to abapers to make correct settings for you. Believe this would help your queries. TQ

  • Is there a way to automate the tax code assignation on non PO documents lik

I'm looking for a way to automate the tax code assignation on purchases, I'm aware of the condition techniques for POs, but I would like to understand if it can be also applied to the other document in purchases so we can have a totally automate process on tax code assignation.
Documents like: Contracts, Info records, RFQ, Scheduling agreements, Outline Agremments

What you need to do is to create condition tables & access sequences for condition type NAVS for purchasing documents like RFQ, Contract & Scheduling agreement. You can use the document types and document category to differentiate these. Obviously this is required only if your tax determination scenario is different between different document type, if the tax code to be determined is not linked to purchasing document type, then you only one access sequence which can have parameteris like PORG, vendor if required etc. which are common to all document types.
Once this configuration is done, then you need to maintain condition records using transaction MEK1 and maintain the tax codes as per the combination of parameters.
In case of Info-record, it is different as it is a master data and this automatic tax determination will not work there.

  • Solution for printing of Purchasing Documents in SAP with version managemen

    Hi experts,
We found that the standard solution does not meet the following requirements for purchasing document
    1)     The print for the latest version of the document does not contain items unaffected by change. It  requires printing of whole document with all items, but with version number and highlighted changes.
    2)     The standard solution cannot highlight some of the changes which are not captured by version management like text changes, target value and Contact (Purchasing Group) in header, text changes at item level, etc.
    3)     The standard solution can be used to reprint the whole PO without version management but that cannot highlight the changes specific to the version for which it is printed.
If any solution which can meet the requirements specified above, please let us know <removed by moderator>.
    Thanks in advance.
Edited by: Thomas Zloch on Mar 30, 2011 9:39 AM

    Ok.
I have already done with SPRO configuration.
    MM->Purchasing->Version management->
It has implemented ECC 6.0. The version management has been activated for Purchasing documents. The standard printing solution for printing of these documents (PO, Outline Agreements and RFQ) print these documents with changes made in the latest version. Any item which is not changed in the latest version does not get printed.

  • How to default info update ticked in RFQ and PO

    Dear SAP gurus,
In RFQ and PO we are having an indicator for info update. If we activate this indicator, when we create RFQ and PO, this will update the info record. Currently in my system the default is blanked/unticked. Is it possible to make it defaulted to filled/ticked?
Please help. Any helpful answer will be rewarded.
    Best regards,
    John.

  • RFQ Header consition inclusion

    Dear Experts,
I've created a pricing procedure for domestic, defined, respective schema determination.
While creating PO, all the conditions are flowing correctly. Also i can add condition values at header level also.
But while creating RFQ, if i tried to enter some condition value.. the system not allowing to enter conditions screen itself.. it is giving the error as
" Not possible to determine a condition type
    Message no. 06658
    Diagnosis
The system was not able to find a condition type for the item. Price determination is therefore not possible.
    Procedure
    Contact your system administrator.
The latter can maintain the calculation schema assigned to the purchasing document using the Implementation Guide (IMG): Define calculation schema '"
But i can able to enter conditions for item level.. please provide me the solution for the same.. for accessing conditions of RFQ at Header level.
FYI, i've checked RFQ in IDES, i can able to enter conditions.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
Since RFQ is a time-dependent purchasing document so it is not allowing you to enter the Header Condition types in ME47.
To cross-check it, go to SPRO > MM > Purchasing > RFQ/Quotation > Define Document Types > here for your RFQ Document Type, check "Time-dependent" indicator will be active. Just remove it once and then try by creating a completely new RFQ in ME41 and then maintain the Quotation in ME47. It will allow to enter the Header conditions.
But, it is not suggested to do so.

  • Condition records for RFQ outputs

    Hi
I have seperate output types for RFQ (ZPRS) and PO (ZROP).
I have created document types for PO and RFQ but both are having same code.
    Z007 - Hiring  Services PO (Category -F)..
    Z007 - Materials Req RFQ (Categ -A)
Now when i am maintaining condition records for output types of RFQ in T-Code MN01,
i select ZPRS as output type and trying to maintain the document type of RFQ (Z007), but
the system takes Doc type Z007 of PO.
Kindly let me know what is the issue. Because all the output type and document type has been maintained correctly for respective document category.
    Regards
    Madhesh Kumar

    Hi
At the time of maintaining condition records using MN01 , In the Purchasing document type selection, you can see that the Document types are always listed based on the Document category.
For RFQ the docuemnt category is A so select accordingly for the RFQ.
If you are doing a mass creation ensure that you uses the dcoument category as one of the key combination.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Number Range for Purchase Document

For example we have a document type for PR, PO, RFQ .
Lets say PO, we have a document type for service PO as ZSER (customized) where the document range is maintained as
460000000 - 469999999, now for last 3 years Po is being created and 1 lakh service PO has been created. One of the companies is using this PO range.
Now one more company in our group is planning to implement SAP. The company code different.
But the main issue is the server would be same. so we have to be careful while configuration.
Now this new company will also create Service PO. So instead of creating new PO document type for Service PO, can i use the same document type but give a separate Number range  like  470000000 - 479999999.
Can the above be achieved by some user exit.
    Please suggest.

    Hi,
Go for User Exit MM06E003 & M06B0004 for PO number range based on Comp. Code.

  • RFQ output types .

    Dear All,
We have  some RFQ types in SPRO - Purchasing - RFQ - define document types .But they are not coming while creating RFQ .Earlier these document types were coming while creating RFQ but now it is not showing .Can anybody let me know the reason for this ?
    Abhijit Das

    Hi,
If u defined ur own RFQ document type( copied from standard "AN" and done all steps) and now follow the path:
SPRO-> Material Management->Purchasing-> Define default value for Document type
Now assign new RFQ document type to ME41 T.code and save.
Now try creating RFQ, you can have ur new RFQ document type in ME41 t.code.

  • Regarding document flow

what is document flow in abap.
             could u plz explain clearly,.

    Hi,
Document flow is not in ABAP, it is with respect to a Functional Module like SD, MM ,FI or PP or PM etc.
In each module there will be business flow, means which document comes first and which document comes late.
    For example If take SD:
Inquiry, quotation, sales Order, Delivery (PGI) and billing is the document flow
    In MM:
PR, RFQ, PO, GR and Invoice Verification is the document flow
    Hope this helps,
    regards,

  • RFQ with reference to PR

When I am creating RFQ with reference to Requisition- the inormation from requisition is not getting copied on to RFQ. What am I missing in config?
    Thanks
    Raj

    Hi,
    Try this -
    SPRO>Materials Management>Purchasing>RFQ/Quotation>Define Document Types
Then, select the RFQ document type that you are using.  Then, select "Allowed Item categories node on the left.  Select the Item category that you are using in your RFQ.  If the one that you are trying to refer from PReq to RFQ doesn't exist here, make the new entry.  Then, select the item category and select the subnode Link purchase requisition - document type on the left.
Do you see the combination of PReq document type and RFQ doc type that you are using? (with item categories)

context object is nothing but a simple representation of XPATH.
In your case as mentioned earlier go for xpath in the condition editor and achieve your result.
