Document editor

Anyone know of a way to download an application/rtf document to a browser and then have the documented resubmitted to the server for update? I know this is not specifically a jsf question BUT I am using jsf/myfaces to do file downloads at present...
Thanks.

  • Is B2B document editor  necessary in SOA suite 11g environment?

    Hi All,
In my server, SOA suite 11g is installed, which include B2B engine also. For devoloping a POC in B2B environment, document editor is necessary or not?. Without document editor, is it posible to devolop a simple POC? I am completely new to this B2B environment.

  • Unable to use B2B Document Editor tool to create guideline from data file

Does anyone successfully used the B2B Document Editor tool to generate the guideline doc from an HL7 data file ?
I attempted to use the SpecGenerator feature of this tool to create a guideline from the "a01.xml" sample file in the HL7 tutorials (came with the B2B installation" and the wizard kept on giving me "parsing errors" message below
"The data in the file could not be parsed. Please check the file to verify that it is valid and formatted correctly. This error can occur for one of the following reasons: A) The data file may be a Word document or have some other binary format. B) The envelope data may not be formatted properly. If this is an X12 data file, please verify that the ISA segment is the correct size (exactly 106 characters). If this is an EDIFACT data file, it must have either a UNA or begin with UNB. For other standards, verify that the envelope segments conform to the specified rules. C) The segment/record delimiters in the file are incorrect."
Any idea why ? I did not alter the sample file in anyway -- its format is exactly the same as when it was installed.
    Any helps are appreciate !!

    Hi,
I would suggest that you learn the B2B product starting with the HL7 tutorial. Start by importing the export files and follow the instructions to make the system work end to end.
Next, you want to configure for the HL7 tutorial manually using the ecs and xsd files provided in the HL7 tutorial directory. Again, ensure that the system work end to end after you have done the manual configuration.
Next, you create a new ecs and xsd file using the Document Editor from scratch and use them in your manual configuration. You can use the same doctype and version as in the tutorial so that you can be familiar with the Document Editor and at the end of this exercise, you know you have done things properly if the system works end to end. The documentation for Document Editor is mainly in the Windows Help section.
After the incremental steps above, you will have the knowledge to implement the document type and version of your project. Going straight into the requirements in your project makes it difficult to debug because they are too many moving parts.
    Hope this helps,
    Eng

  • Unable to import gentran DDF file in B2B Document Editor

I am trying to import DDF file (available from a Gentran Integration Server) in to B2B Document editor (11.1.1.6 or 11.1.1.7). The DDF file has no external reference to a DTD file (and hence the first line resembles <!DOCTYPE GENTRANDDF> and not <!DOCTYPE GENTRANDDF SYSTEM "something.dtd">). While importing, I get an error "The element GENTRANDDF is used but not declared in the DTD/Schema".
Presuming the missing DTD for the above error, I created my own DTD (using Stylus or IntelliJ etc...), but that results in a variety of different errors.
Can anyone advise what type of DDF can actually be imported in to Oracle B2B ? The document is not very clear on this topic. There is a very old OTN community thread Import Gentran DDF but that also has no solution explained.

please help me..First help yourself by posting a clear question
You have far to much code posted and without the use of the correct code tags its almost unreadable.
You have a question about uplaoding files with Struts then get rid of all the junk in your code thats not related to uploading files.
If you have an error then post the relevant information on the error
    like
    org.apache.commons.beanutils.ConversionException:
Cannot assign value of type 'org.apache.struts.upload.CommonsMultipartRequestHandler$CommonsFormFile' to property 'file' of type 'java.lang.String'
org.apache.struts.action.DynaActionForm.set(DynaActionForm.java:424)If you had posted only that you would have given enough information, that error says it all you are trying to put your file into a String and its not working.
reread the tutorial/documentation provided and try again

  • Regards B2B Document Editor download

    hi,
Im currently working on SOA Suite (11.1.1.3.0)version on windows XP platform.I extented JDeveloper into 11.1.1.3 by adding composite editor in order to work with soa suite 11g.
I want to download B2B Document editor. In Oracle Fusion middleware Runtime download section, i found B2B document editor download place where there will be three files namely disk1, disk2 and disk3 which approximatly 4 GB capacity. is it required to download all three disk files or dowload any specific disk according to patch set?
    regards

    Hi Ashok,
All three disks are required for installation. It is not based on release. For any question related to Oracle B2B or Oracle B2B document editor, raise a thread in Oracle B2B forum -

  • B2B Document Editor License Key Issue

    Hi,
I have downloaded Oracle B2B Document Editor from OTN and installed the same without any error but while trying to use it to generate B2B guideline files (ecs and xsd files), at the very first step we are getting the error saying -
*"This feature is not available with the current type of license. Please contact [email protected] to obtain an upgraded license key."*
As a result, it is not allowing further to create the guideline files i.e. we cannot use the software.
Have anybody faced this issue? Any idea about is it expected or why this is coming or how to get rid of this?
Note: Buying a license is not an option for me as I just want to evaluate the software.
Download link I have used: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/downloads/fmw-11-download-092893.html
    Thanks
    Satyaki

    Satyaki,
But as I understand installing b2b doc editor does not have any dependency with SOA installation as such and it can be installed at any Standard Windows machine with no SOA in it. So, has this concept changed in case of this latest version? Should the latest doc editor version can be installed only where soa is installed? Your understanding is correct. B2B Doc Editor is independent of SOA and that patch should be applied into SOA environment(SOA Suite 11g R1 (11.1.1.5.0)) release to use complete health care features in SOA which are already available in Doc Editor 11.1.1.5.0
Moreover, will the guideline files generated using this doc editor NOT work if used with soa suite version 11.1.1.3? You are not supposed to use B2B Doc Editor 11.1.1.5.0 version with SOA Suite 11.1.1.3.0
I will personally suggest you to use SOA 11.1.1.4.0 and B2B Doc editor 11.1.1.4.0 if you are working on any evaluation.
    Regards,
    Anuj

  • Document Editor For Nokia N97 mini Should be Intro...

    Hi,
I would really like nokia to introduce a document editor for the nokia n97 mini, since that phone has a good keyboard and the features are good, the document editor will complete the phone and it would surely be the complete multipurpose phone.

    Hi Abhishek23,
As the N97mini is an older model, its software development and maintenance cycle has ended a number of years ago. There will be no more firmware updates for this device, and every other Symbian device produced in the last few years.....as Symbian is now in maintenance mode and the focus is on the Asha line and the Windows Phone platform of which Lumia is part of.
Nokia should have brought the same improvements to N97 mini which were included in the 41.x.xxx and 42.x.xxx software versions for the C6-00. After all, apart from the camera the C6-00 is the same device as the N97 mini, so it should have been fairly trivial. They are not major changes by no means, but useful.
Unfortunately there is at least one major bug left even in the latest C6-00 firmware: http://www.developer.nokia.com/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=153
It also affects N97 mini with 30.0.004, but it appears Nokia is not going to fix it on either device.

I am running a Palm IIIxe with Palm OS 3.5 on a Vista 32 bit laptop with Palm Desktop 7.2 with HOTSYNCSTETUP patch.

I'm not sure if they made a version for the Palm IIIxe but you can look into Docs to Go. If that is not compatible or does not work browse around www.freewarepalm.com for a bit and you might find what you need.
I hope this information is useful.

  • Newbe Q: Where do I find B2B Document Editor documentation?

    Hello.
    A Newbe Question.
I find myself in need of modifying a HL7 ADT A01 Spec file in such a way that PV1 Visit Number field is greater then the 20 characters the spec allows (which is strange since the components of that field are all larger then the field length - up to 64K per component).
Where can I find the Oracle B2B Document Editor (EDIFECS SpecBuilder) documentation which discusses how to modify spec files (I can't change the value of PV1-9 Visit Number for some reason (I think it is 9 0 I don't have teh SpecBuilder open at the moment) .
    Thanks in avdvance

    Thanks Nitesh and Anuj.
The only thing I have seen so far is the B2B User's Guide, to which Anuj prvided the link.
I am looking for something more comprehensive.
We are useing the EDIFECS SpecBuilder. Is there EDIFECS SpecBuilder documentation and is it more comprehensive then teh B2b User's Guide Chapte 3 and the SpecBuilder on-line Help system?
    Thanks for your help

  • Regular expression in B2B Document editor

    Hi All,
i intent to parse a file coming into B2B with record entry starting as ' 88'. And i want to use this value 88 to differentiate it from other records. I have set a rule (^[ \t]+88) on the field to pick this entry and set the value of the tag field as 88.
but it is not getting picked up properly and is jumping over this record itself completely. could you please suggest how this regular expression rules work when used with tag.. i have to use only the rule but still the record is not getting properly picked up...
kindly share any assistance in this regards
    thanks
    Rakesh

    Hi Datla,
Yes, there is a de-identification support in Data Editor of B2B Document Editor. Once you open a EDI or HL7 doc with data editor, it will ask you to "Choose De-Identification and specify rule file". You may create a separate file for your use. Data Replacement Rule file is actually a XML which holds the separator information along with the data to be replaced. You may define your own DRR file.
To know more, just open the Data Editor from Document Editor, go to Help --> Content -->Data Replace and De-Identify section.
