Document edits not printing

Afternoon All,
Supporting a user using Acrobat 9.0 (Standard / Professional etc. unknown but this can be found out) who has received a PDF as an attachment in an email. When she opens it, the edits that were made by a previous user to the document show in the document. When she goes to print it, the preview does not show the edits, and if she prints it out, the edits do not print. This is not the same for all the documents she receives, some are fine, and the edits show up in the preview and print out correctly). They are all created by the same user and therefore software. There are 3 other users who receive the same email (they are all cc'd on the same email) and they all have the same symptoms. It is believed they are all using the same version of Acrobat.
Can anybody put a suggestion forward as to why some would be OK, and others not?

It will remain in the PDF, but is not part of the document. That is why they have the selection of document and markup for printing. If you are sending the PDF to others, that leads ot a problem of telling the reader how to print the document and markup. The flatten is under the tools>print production as I recall (sorry, at the wrong computer to give the full answer).

  • Adobr Reader XI: document will not print: premium presentation paper

I've had no problems with this before today. Adobe Reader XI gives me an error message that "document will not print". I tried it in draft, plain paper, and it printed, without a problem. I switched browsers, from Google Chrome, redownloaded the document (online labels) into IE8, then tried to reprint as premuim presentation paper, matte, color. Same error message. Yet, as a draft, no problem. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, updated drivers on Epson printer (WF2530), same error message. AShould I do a system restore to two days ago, since this is the last time there was no problem? I print product labels.

    Thanks Atul,
Th problem has recently been resolved when my new technician made some adjustmnents. The problem was not the fault of Acrobat. It goes back to my new high definition IPS monitor several weeks earlier. When using Windows Office 2007 I was seeeing green haloes mainly between letters such as" ll, ii, db" etc. where the vertical lines filled with green. In Adobe Bridge, the variable text in control boxes took on a red colour. My technician (at the time) sought help via the Microsoft Help site and found this was a common problem with professional high definition IPS monitors like my new one. The instructions (4 pages from the Microsoft site)  said to turn off the Clear Text Type and replace the font 'SEGOE' with Tahoma. As the technician workede his way through the steps, I watched as he marked them off as he went so as to ensure the changes were correctly made. This solved the problem but it wasn't until a week later when I tried to print a PDF file that my problems with Acrobat began. The PC was taken to another technican fora "second opinion" and this man fixed the problem within a short time by changing the font back to the Windows default, SEGOE. He may have done something else but when I saw the printer dialog panel on his workbench with no other problems either, I was anxious to try it with my new monitor. No more colour fringing/haloes etc and no further problems with Acrobat However, I was waiting a little longer before informing you of the outcome-just in case it didn't work.
It seems that Microsoft may be incorrect in their 'Fix' advice as the font SEGO may well be required for Acrobat to print a PDF file?
This case may now be closed with thanks for trying to help with a problem that in the end turned out to not your fault

  • Purchase order created by "Procurement Document" is not printed automatical

    Hi all experts,
After and upgrade to 8.81 (from 2005A)  some funcionality was lost.
In Print Preferences it is set that the document Purchase Order shall be printed automatically when adding document.
This works if you add the document directly in Purchase module.
But, if you add the document via a Sales Order
    - on the Logistics tab, mark the field Procurement Document to create the PO -
the Purchase order is not printed.
Has anyone seen any changes regarding this functionality or is it a bug?
    Thank you!
    Kind regards,
    Susanna

  • Pdf documents will not print properly

my imac running 10.5.8 will not print some pdf documents properly.  In particular sheet music will only print as horizontal and vertical lines - the symbols and notes do not print.  The 'print preview' shows all the symbols and notation correctly.
This occurs in both Adobe Acrobat (v10.1.3) and Preview (v 4.2 - 469.5).
Printer in use is a HP 2600n connected via USB cable.

Seems it's not sending the Font to the Printer, or the Font has a conflict & the Printer thinks it's another Font.
Open Font Book & Validate all Fonts & check for duplicates.

  • Document will not print correctly

I have a Photosmart 3210xi All-in-One. Have had it connected to a desktop and everything prints fine. Recently was provided a laptop (Dell Latitude D505). Connected this up to the printer. Tried printing a document. The print preview looks good, but the document when printed does not. It appears (what little I know) to print out the "computereze"--i.e., all the commands, etc. Yesterday, it printed 8 pages of this before I stopped it.
How do I get it to print the document correctly?

Hard Reset – While printer is powered ON, pull
the power cord from the printer then from the
wall. After 30 seconds reconnect power to
wall and printer. This will trigger a ‘dirty power
up’ and restore the printer to a known good
condition (if it is possible). No user settings
are lost with a ‘hard reset’.
This ‘Hard Reset’ is one of the most powerful
tools to use when the printer hardware is not
    functioning properly!
if not resolved, uninstall hp software &
reinstall using latest  hp software from hp
    website.

  • Documents are not printed in tray selected

    Hello all,
I met one problem to print some Spool Orders in one specific tray.
One phisical printer is created twice in SAP :
    - one printer for one tray (ex : tray2)
    - one printer for the other tray (ex : tray3)
    Tray1 is not used.
When i'm printing SmartForms documents, they are printing in the selected tray, but some others documents (ex: SAPScipt documents) are printing to the default tray of the phisical printer but not in one selected.
Did somebody met this problem and succeeded to resolve it, please ?
Many Thanks in advance for your help.

  • GR slip for PO created in Material document but not printed or in spool

    Hello Inventory Management Gurus,
I have a problem printing GR slip onto the printer.
I am able to create the output and can see in the material document but not in the spool or printer.
I configured GR slip printing in OMJ4, created condition record in MN21 configured in NACE etc., for the output type.
What is preventing from printing or appearing in the spool if it created the output in material document?
I have the setting "print immediately" enabled and "release after output" unchecked in OMJ4.
    What is missing?
    Please help.
    George

    Hi
Output for GR is Printed through T-code 'MB90".
Note - in GRN  Individual /Collective Slip and Print indicator should be selected.
Enter the GRN No,Select the Output type and Execute.

  • One document will not print in color - all other docs are printing fine

I just purchased an All Ine One Officejet Pro 8630. It will not print my proposal forms in color - although invoices and every other document that requires color seems to print just fine. The proposal form is formatted in in old Microsoft Access file.  Not sure that this would make a difference because I have had no problems with printing it in the past with color.  Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thank you.

So when you do print, does it come out in a grey scale with various shades of grey instead of the color or in just solid Black and White format? Also, on the PDF front, you can install either software I mentioned and that will allow you to "Print to a PDF File" and then you can at least view the PDF to see if your printing system from Access is outputing in color or not.  Just a troubleshotting idea.

  • Scanned documents do not print out correctly on forms.

I scanned a pdf file to my computer.  I opened the pdf file on my computer using Adobe Reader.  I printed the file using my printer.  The pdf file did not print out correctly.  The printed text was out of alignment with the form I was printing on.  The printer/scanner manufacturer troubleshot the problem and determined it is not a hardware issue, but an Adobe Reader software issue.  Please help.  Thank you.

Yes, the scanned PDF size is the same as the paper size in my printer.  Everything worked fine for the past year.  The only thing I had changed was I purchased a new wireless HP printer/scanner.  Before, I was using an USB cable.  While troubleshooting my issues, I have somehow caused Adobe Reader X to quit working.  I cannot open any PDF files.  I get a message about system configuration is not compatiable.

  • PDF Document will not print on wireless network

Recently purchased Fujitsu laptop with Vista Home Premium O/S, 2.4 Gig chip, 2 Gig Ram. Printer is Canon Image Class 880 multi-function printer. I am able to print Microsoft Word documents via the wireless network and can also print documents off of the web on the wireless network, except for downloaded PDF files.
When I try to print a PDF file, the print box will come up and show the correct printer. When I click OK in the print box, a "Progress" dialog box comes up and indicates "preparing" as a percentage of the total document the computer is trying to send to the printer. Then, the box turns grey, and a message comes up saying Adobe Reader had a problem and has shut down. Also, Windows Document Execution Prevention then comes up saying a problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
I'm not sure which version of Adobe reader came with the computer, but it was upgraded to 8.1.2 on 2/12/08.
Any helpful ideas will be appreciated.

  • Large Format Document will not print

Using Photoshop CS3 On IMac Intel Core Mac OS 10.4.1. Created a large format document using scanned photos and documents. I created a poster 20X40 but when attempting to export the "print" option is greyed out. Saved the document to my desktop, it is a huge file 3.4 GB. Saved it to a CD and took it to Kinkos to be printed. They say it crashed their system and they likewise cannot get it to print and cannot save it to a pdf or any other file. I am new to photoshop and my son set up the document, I just filled it in so not sure what I did wrong. Any suggestions?

    eileen,
    >I have a call into Kinkos on the color their Mac guy is not in.
You probably don't have to speak with a "Mac guy" as Photoshop files are platform-neutral. Speak to anyone in their "print shop" and ask what their file requirements are for "giant prints".
In addition to choices of media, mounting options and prices, you want to know:
    Format
    Recommended resolution
Maximum file size (pixels x pixels and file "weight"), if any
    Color mode
    Any specific "do's and don'ts"
