"Document Flow cannot be updated" warning msg in GR for STO

Hi All,
I get a warning when I try to do GR for a STO (Oub Deliver created for this STO and PGI done...and stock is in Stock in Transit).
What does this warning mean?

Hi,
I think you are trying Goods Receipt in receiving plant w.r.t. Stock Transport Order instead of Outbound Delivery.
As per SAP recommendation, GR in receiving plant should be done w.r.t. Outbound delivery not STPO so that it will update Sales Document Flow also along with PO History.
In MIGO, try Goods Receipt --> Outbound Delivery instead of Purchase Order and then check.

Dear Experts,
I am facing a problem in document flow.
I create order (for free goods order type ZFRE), do delivery and finally billing.Outbound delivery is showing as "Being Processed".While I have maintained "Update document flow" in item level in copy control.
For your information, this is free goods order type and the system has been configured in such a way that accounting docs are not generated after billing. (As it is for free goods.).Could this be because accounting docs are not being generated?

Pls see the copy control sales document to sales document T.Code VTAA
Go to the item category and see the document flow field is activated or not if is not activated pls activate and re run the scenario
pls check your correct defined Z item category the document flow is activated or not.

Document flow is not updated for Scheduling agreement

Hi Gurus,
Can you please advise on the below issue..
Some deliveries created with reference of schedule agreement are not displayed in scheduling agreement in forecast delivery schedule under delivery tab and as well as not updated in document flow for VBFA table.
There are two ways to create delivery with reference of Scheduling agreement , 1) Create Delivery order (Order Type : TAM) with reference of SA, then delivery for TAM order.
2) we can add the line item in existing TAM order with reference of SA .

Outbound delivery document flow is not updated after LT0G

Hello Gurus,
after executing LT0G Returd to stock from delivery, a document flow of outbound delivery is not updated. Still an OvrllPickStatus remains = C Fully picked and OverallWMStatus = C WM trsf ord confirmd. This though the goods result to be returned correctly from 916 into stock.. What can be the reason for this malfunctioning?

Many thank for your feedback. The transaction LT0G is executed succefully and a destination storage bin results a correct quantity. Anyway I checked SM13 and a log is empty.
The notes you mentioned seemed very promising, but unfortunately they are not relevant as a release in where I am working is SAP ECC 6.0 SAPKH60013.
I am still trying to find some possible other notes but without a success so far.

After completion of GR(MIGO) delivey document flow was not updated.

We have to move the stock from PlantA to PlantB . Purchase order and deliveries and PGI has been created and stock is picked out of PlantA . For that delivey goods reciept also completed, when i checked in Purchase order history system showing GR has been completed. but in delivey document flow system showing upto GI document. GR document was not updated.
When i checked in MB5T stock is showing under *Display purchase orders with delivery completed too*

Document flow is not updated in outbound delivery

Hi,
I have issue at my client side that We create Transfer order and it is not updating in outbound delivery document flow. Update without delay is check in shipping configuration. Can somebody please provide the reason, Configuration missing or some OSS note which can help us?

I am doing Order to cash Cycle, and iam using CIN also, when i am saving Billing document iam getting the following error

Ipod cannot be updated because all of playlists for syncing no longer exist

I think i delted the playlist for my ipod and now i get this message and my ipod wont update and i have no clue what to do

This problem arises when you use 'Sync Music - Selected playlists' to sync your iPod and then delete the playlist it has been updating from. Most people use this setting when the iPod is smaller than the iTunes library. If you haven't deliberately chosen this method, adding a smaller iPod to a larger library for the first time causes iTunes by default to make a new playlist called something along the lines of "Owner's iPod Selection". If you for any reason delete it, you will not be able to sync your iPod.
Open iTunes and create a playlist to update your iPod from, call it -iPod to make it the first playlist in the source list. You can make this a normal playlist and drag whatever you want to it or you can make it a random Smart playlist. If you are making a smart playlist limit it to just less than the size of your iPod (for example 3700MB for a 4G iPod Nano). Now connect your iPod and when it appears in the Source list click on the iPod icon to bring up the preference tabs in the main pane. Go to the Music tab and choose Sync Music and the Selected playlists radio button. Choose the playlist you just made from the selection and click Apply:

I cannot receive updates. When I check for available updates, it reads: "failed to check for updates."

Return to vendor Error - Document flow for delivery cannot be updated

Hi Expert,
we have a issue - can't post "return to vedor" by MIGO.
The steps are following:
1. It is an STO between 2 plant within different company code;
But the planner wrongly set this STO as CONFIRMATION KEY REQUIRED.
2. The issuing plant didn't create the outbound delivery for this STO. And at the same time, the receiving plant directly post the Good Receipt for this STO by creating an inbound delivery.
3. Then we found this error, we decided to reverse this Good receipt, and then ask the issuing plant to open an outbound delivery, and the receiving plant post good receipt for the outbound delivery.
We met error when we tried to use 122 - return to vendor:
Document flow for delivery cannot be updated
Message no. M7352
Diagnosis
Purchase order 753486 is assigned to a delivery. The current transaction cannot update the document flow for this delivery, because the system does not recognize the delivery number.
System response
When you post this goods movement, the document flow is not updated in the delivery. This can lead to problems later on when you process the delivery.
Procedure
You can post the goods movement using transactions MB0A or MIGO (Goods receipt for a delivery) after you enter the delivery number.
If you are currently posting a cancellation, a return delivery, or a subsequent delivery for the material document, it is not possible to enter the delivery number.

Unfortunately, when I use MB0A and I input the delivery number under Find POs for Preceeding Document, it errors out as well as the delivery does not exist.
Any other option to reverse the GR?

I have created a inter company Schedule agreement . Then supplying plant have done delivery and PGI against this after doing picking and transfer Order .
Now I am trying to do MIGO at receiving plant. While trying to save it's giving an warning message ''Delivery flow for delivery cannot be update'' .
1. Please expalin why document flow is not updated?
2. What I should do for updating the document flow?

Need no document flow update for sales order create with reference

Dear All.
We would like to have the ability to create a sales order with reference to another sales order, and have the document flow of the sales order not updated.
Unlike the case of a standard create with reference where the documents are linked, in this case there is no relationship between the documents. The first document is just acting like a template for the remaining documents, to save time during order entry.
We have turned off update of document flow at the line item level.
But I don't see a way for us to turn this off at the header (document level). So wondering if there's another way to turn this off, or possibly through user-exit or VOFM requirement?
Has anyone else done this?
I think that CRM has this functionality, but we're still entering orders through ERP-SD.

Hello Colleague;
The issue you have reported is SAP standard. The checkbox "Update Document Flow" (V_TVCPAAP-UPFLU) controls document flow at item level. If this checkbox is set to blank, there will be no document flow at item level.
However, the document flow cannot be completely turned off - if the 'update document flow' indicator is blank, you will still see an entry in the document flow, but there will be no update to table VBFA (Sales Document Flow) and the document flow of the predecessor will not be updated at item level (no record in VBFA at item level).
The reason is that the system checks VBAP (Sales Document: Item Data) for fields VGBEL (Document number of the reference document) and VGPOS (Item number of the reference item) for values. You will always have document flow information on header and item level in the successor because it stores this information in table VBAP.

BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE not updating document flow

I created a function to create an inbound delivery against a PUrchase Order and then Post the goods receipt against that inbound delivery. The inbound delivery and the material document are created correctly in the DEV environment.
The issue is that in our QA environment the document are created correctly but the document flow is not updated at all!! Any idea of where should I be looking at to see difference between these environments?
I'm using BAPI BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE to Post the Goods Receipt.

Material Document(mblnr) is getting populated but Document Flow of that inbound delivery is not getting updated.Its status is Open.
Can anyone knows how Document Flow can be updated using BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE??

Goto transaction SPRO, Go to Logistics Execution - Shipping - Basic shipping Functions - Configure Clobal Shipping Data, In this put a tick on Document Flow Update.

Document Flow not updated in CRM from ECC

We are having a scenario where we are creating Service Orders in CRM, which in turn creates a meterial reservation document in ECC for the spare part items. However, the material reservation number is not getting updated in the document flow of the service order in CRM. We are using CRM7.0. Any suggestions anyone?
