Fix you contact resolution to your LDAP and you'll get just that, what you're seeing right now is expected as the fact you get JID and not the friendly username, means you're not looking at LDAP.
Right now you're also unable to dial, assuming you have softphone or deskphone control, from jabber as the DNs for the contact, are also brought over with the contact resolution from LDAP.
Make sure you have SRVs, or manually configure the integration in jabber-config.xml.

Reverse document for check voided with FCH9

I voided a manual check that was created by using FCH9. I want to be able to reverse the document, but when I tried to reverse, I got an error that the document was already cleared and could not be reversed. Is there a way to reverse the payment document?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If no other new check has been issued for the payment document in FCHN, than you have to use FBRA to reverse the payment document. You should use the option reverse and reset

Exact Material document for particular material with serial number

One serial number is assigned to material
and this matreial is having more than one material document numbers. How do i know exact material document assigned for material and serial number combination.

Try MASE. it hold the last serial number.

The first line of UploadJar.bat is call setEnv
Are you variables set correctly in this file? Make sure all the directories are set correctly. You can also add an echo into the UploadJars.bat file that contains all of the last line to see what is being output in the command:

How to find document for WebSphere Portal Server and OIM Integration?

Last time, I used WebSphere Portal Server and OAM that works well. Herein the document for integration http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/B28196_01/idmanage.1014/b25347/websphr.htm.
Now, I would like to use OIM to integrate with WebSphere Portal Server. Is there any document like above? If yes, please let me know where I can find it or give me a link.

Problem in integrating xMII with VC

hi Experts,
My xMII server Version is 11.5
I followed this document:

System Alias: XMII_JDBC
Connection test is successful, after configured System.
I am getting error while FindData Seach in VC,
Inputs given are,
System: XMII_JDBC (this is my system)
Look for: Look for a table
the error is, Error-2305 Cannot retrive catalogs and schemas; check the connection to the selected systems Cannot access JDBC metadata 
I think i made mistake in connectionURL, but connection test is successful.
Please guide me, where i made mistake.

F110 - One payment document for numerous vendors

Hi,
I know it is possible to create in F110 one document for all payments for one vendor.
Recently I was askedy by Finance to allow to create in F110 one document that combines payments all vendors open items that have the same payment method. I have never had such requirement before.
Is it possible and if yes how can I set it up?

Hi,
The requirement is not feasible practically, as if you create only one payment document for all vendors with same payment method, how will you pass on the payment data to bank for making payment to different vendors. (as each vendor would be having different bank details.)
In case you do not want to pass on the payment data to bank, and just want to make posting in FI for payment, then you can link all the vendors to a head office vendor (Head Office - Branch Concept) and can then make a single payment document for all the vendors linked to the main vendor.

Integrating Apex with Cocoon (does it make pdf from taking data from DB)

Friends,
I integrated Apex with appache with cocoon. Its working fine with reports but i want it to work with form on a table or view.The steps below which i have followed for integrating Apex with Cocoon
Steps of pdf Printing of Report with cocoon:
1) Download and unzip the following needed files in D:\Apex_fop directory.
2) Open your command prompt .
Change the directory to D:\Apex_fop\cocoon-2.1.11.
Set the Java_Home environment variable as: set JAVA_HOME= C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_21
then type build war
3) After getting the prompt back as D:>Apex_fop>cocoon-2.1.11>
Copy coocon.war file from the folder D:\Apex_fop\cocoon-2.1.11\build\cocoon.
Paste this file into webapps subdirectory in main tomcat directory having path as D:\APEX_FOP\apache-tomcat-6.0.26\webapps.....place it in the top
level of webapps directory.
4) Now just startup tomcat as D:>APEX_FOP>apache-tomcat-6.0.26>bin>startup.bat
The cocoon.war file will automatically uncompressed as directory.
5) To change the port of apache tomcat , edit apache-tomcat-6.0.26\conf\server.xml & change port attribute of Connector element from 8080 to 8181.
Just check whether Tomcat is running or not as http://localhost:8181/
& to check cocoon type http://localhost:8181/cocoon/
6) Now copy fop_post directory & paste it undes new cocoon directory in webapps having path as D:\APEX_FOP\apache-tomcat-6.0.26\webapps
\cocoon.
7) Now you need to do some apex settings as follows:
In APEX, just log in as ADMIN into apex/apex_admin and went to Instance Settings and did the following:
- Print Serverr: Standard Support
- Print Server Protocol: HTTP
- Print Server Host Address:localhost
- Print Server Port: 8181
- Print Server Script: /cocoon/fop_post
In your APEX application, in the Regions section, Click on the Print link next to your report and do the following settings:
- Enable Report Printing: Yes
- Link Label: Print
- Response Header: Report Settings
- View File As: Attachment
- Output Format: PDF
- Report Layout: Default Report Layout
- Print URL: f?p=&APP_ID.:1:&SESSION.:FLOW_XMLP_OUTPUT_R1063230002781575
8) Open up the Report Page and click Print , You will get the pdf report.
But my requirement is bit different. I have made form on a table or view , so when i am submitting my form the record is getting updated in my database and at the same time a new button is appearing at same page as i have branched it in same page. The new button name is print. I want when i click this print button it should print the record which submitted recently. How can i enable the print functionality on form. Its simple in report but how can it be done on form?
Looking forward for this to know wthr it is achievable or not and if yes what all are the ways?

You could redirect to a report page instead of to the form page. Then simply print the report.
This makes sense. You would have one page for entering the data and another page for displaying and printing it.

There are so many software's available in the market and certified by SAP for Integration Primavera with SAP.
If you want to develop your own interface between SAP and Primavera,it is tedious and time consuming so better is to go for a ready made software certified by SAP which will ease you work.
