Document got deleted and i didn't save
While I was writing a document on the new Pages, my computer froze and the document got deleted. Is there any way that I can recover the document?
In the Finder, press shift+command+G. Clear any existing content in the Go to folder content input area.
Triple-click the following content, copy and paste it into the Go to folder input window. Edit the viking part with your short user name.
/Users/viking/Library/Containers/
Once you are in the Containers directory, look for the file named com.apple.iWork.Pages. Right-click on this file and choose Show Package Contents.
Now, double-click the Data folder. Double-click the Library folder. Double-click the Autosave Information folder. If you find an Unsaved Pages Document in this location, understand that this is the display name, and it has a hidden .pages file extension. Double-click this document, and if you are lucky, it will open in the default version of Pages and you may be able to recover some of the content you thought was lost. If so, immediatey press the option key and choose File > Save As... and name and save the document in your login directory/Documents folder.

Regardless of application, the first step that I take is to save and name the current document — even if it has no content yet. With Pages, this good habit enables autosave. As you add content, your document revision history is restorable via the File Revert To menu. The delete key has the same document foreboding as only teaching a pet raven to speak "Nevermore."

Yes, any work that didn't save from the built-in saves of the program (if any were turned on). You should regularly save documents you modify before working with them live. Since this question is related to Keynote, I've asked this thread be moved to:

Where more people might know if there are workarounds or temporary file locations that might save information that you can recover.
It may vary by version, as Apple started making a new feature called Versions available that saves every change as it is made. -

I am using a program that opens a document in adobe and I need to save it back in the program. I get this message: this document is trying to connet to: fill://index.cfm?event=vendorsonly.submiteventform. Help
Have you contacted the people who make the program? It sounds like something special from that program.

You are on Windows 2000, you do not have a "Firefox" button, and should consider yourself to be fortunate in that you still have menus and don't have to do anything to get the menus back instead of the "Firefox" button. (The same applies to Windows XP users).
Use the "File" menu to get to Import. You are not on Windows 7 or Vista, and don't have to put up with the nonsense added for Aero.
If you want the "Firefox" button you can get it with View -> toolbars -> (uncheck) Menu Bar. The menu bar and the "Firefox" button were supposed to be mutually exclusive (which is impossible in some cases without being incompatible).
Once you are using the "Firefox" button ...
Use the "Alt" key to view the menu bar (temporarily) containing File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, and Help. On Windows 7 and Vista, the menu bar was hidden by default in Firefox 4 and above. These menu items are more or less available under the "Firefox" button which has the most used of the built-in Firefox menu items available in a different format.
To get back to having menus again. "Firefox" button -> Options (second column) -> (check) Menu Bar

all my pictures in iPhoto got deleted and i don't know how to get them back so could anyone help me with that ??
We do need more information to help. Are the images gone from your iPhoto library, or is the iPhoto Library missing? How and when did this happen?
If images are missing from the library: Did you check for hidden photos? Did you check the iPhoto Trash?
If the pictures are still in the iPhoto Trash, open the Trash, select the images and and press the liitle arrow in the lower right corner - select "Put back".
If the pictures are still in an "iPhoto" folder in the system Trash (with sub folders named by date), import these folders to your iPhoto library.
Have you checked, if you have opened the correct iPhoto Library? Launch iPhoto with the options key held down, to select another Library.
If the entire Library is missing, have you searched for ".photolibrary" with spotlight?
Do have a backup?
If none of these easy measures helps, report back with more details - your iPhoto version, and anything else that might be helpful to find out, what the problem is. Don't do anything that changes the contents of your hard drive for now.

I plugged in my phone to my macbook to transfer images. I pulled ou the usb cord without ejecting it properly and all the pictures from my phone got deleted and didint get transfered. Is there any way I can recover my photos They are really important.

Move your curring iPhoto app to the Trash (don't empty) and then try purchasing again. If you're still having problems with the App Store you might try this:
1 - enable the Debug menu in App Store:
open the Terminal application.
copy the command below and paste into the Terminal window:
defaults write com.apple.appstore ShowDebugMenu -bool true
followed by Enter.
launch App Store, login.
2 - select the Debug ➙ Reset Application option:

copy your fla.
rename the copy to a dot rar file and use winrar to repair it. then unrar to see if you can get a uncorrupted copy.
otherwise, rename your fla to a zip, unzip it and recover whatever assets you can.
or if you have a good swf, try a decompiler (like sothink's) to see if you can recreate your fla.
and, in the future, save versions of your work so you never have to go through this learning experience with flash or any other document creation tool.

CS5 instant crash when I try to invert a selection
