Document link broken when only coping freight to AR credit note
Scenario
1. Create an AR invoice (with item lines and header freight value of $10)
2. Open AR invoice and select 'copy to AR Credit note'. NOTE: Base document link in active in the window.
3. Delete right click each line and select 'delete line'. All lines have been deleted from the AR Credit note. NOTE: when the last line is been deleted the base document link changes to inactive. NOTE: the header freight value of $10 is still active in the credit note.
Can you please advise why this is happening? Should this be happening? 2007A SP01 PL 08

Even you can do that by booking a standalone invoice and Reconcilling the partial amount with the original invoice. Use BP Internal Reconcillation Window - Amount to Reconcile field

I have two lines specified in the AR Credit Note screen both with a tick under the 'Tax only' column.

Just to confirm you there is no option for this. If you have created the invoice(base document) for that then you cant change it in target document..
Other wise you can do one thing while copying it in target doc. just select customize option in copy from--> draw document wizard & select the right items you want.

FrameMaker 11 file link broken when published out to RoboHelp 10
Hello
I have the Adobe Technical Communication Suite 4 and am trying to test publish a FrameMaker 11 file out through
the FrameMaker publish button to WebHelp (by way of RoboHelp 10).
In the FrameMaker 11, file, I have a link to a PDF that sits down in a subfolder. I have used the following approach:
1. Highlighted text in a FrameMaker table.
2. Chose Special>Hyptertext
3. From the Hypertext panel, I selected Message Client from the Command drop down menu
and in the syntax field I entered: message openfile Foldouts/Foldout1.pdf
4. I then tested the link in FrameMaker by using ALT and CTRL and it works.
5. Next, I saved the FrameMaker file as a PDF (File>Save As PDF) and tested the PDF. The PDF links work.
So with all that said, how come I can't select File>Publish>WebHelp and have the link information carry through to the WebHelp HTM output?
I tried this Publish option straight out of the box and it did not work. I also tried creating a custom RoboHelp template (.XPJ file) and it did not work.
I believe there is a PgfId marker that is generated when the Hyptertext is created in FrameMaker (using the process stated above), but that marker is not getting
translated into an HREF, once it gets published out through RoboHelp 10.
I also tried saving the FrameMaker 11 file directly as an HTML file using the FrameMaker 11 - File>Save As HTML process, but no links carried through
using that process either.
I do not know if this is a FrameMaker issue or a RoboHelp issue, so I am now posting this in both forums.
If someone could point me in the right direction, I would really appreciate it.
Are there certain steps one must do to preserve FrameMaker Hypertext links that get published out through RoboHelp 10 to WebHelp?

Image links broken when creating a page from template
I have created a page in dw cs4 and saved it as a template. I have a navigation bar in a div tag. The image renders great in the template. I save the template. I go to File>New>PagefromTemplate and choose the template. I save the page as index.html. The links to the navbar images are broken. I can see the difference in the code, but I don't know why it's changing the code. I know it's just a simple link problem, but I don't know how to fix it and I don't understand why the code is changing. I have made the links relative to the document, and have gone through other settings and solutions on this forum and nothing fixes it. Any help would be most appreciated.

Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks.Ok, I figured this one out, finally. I had my navbar image files in a folder in the Templates folder. I found, buried deep in another thread about something else, that DW doesn't like anything else to be in the Templates folder except the Templates files. So I put the Navbar folder on the root level, out of the Templates folder, and the page is rendering perfectly in Firefox, Safari and IE on Mac and PC.

Invalid Account Code error when posting AP Credit Note
Dear Experts,
I hit this error message when posting an AP Credit Note based entirely on an existing AP Invoice (nothing was changed in the credit note).
Invalid Account Code [Message 173-9]
I have found 2 notes, but I dont think they're relevant

I found the solution!
In my AP Invoice, there was a Rounding amount, but when I copied over to AP Credit Note, the system unusually set the Rounding amount as $0.00 and copies the Rounding amount to the Discount field instead.
**The "Invalid Account Code" error happened because I did not set GL account determination for discounts scenario.
So what I did was I cleared the Discount field in the Credit Note, and enter the rounding figure into the Rounding field again. Then, the AP Credit Note was able to go in Successfully!

I have set hyperlinks within my ibook author document, they work perfectly until i export and view on the ipad, when only one or none work, (hyperlinks to website not working at all) what am i doing wrong?
An external hyperlink should handoff to Safari and leave iBooks.
If that's not happening, perhaps there is something misconfigured on your iPad? Have you manually confirmed those links work in Safari on your iPad? -
Not able to see document when I click Generate Document link in SSHR

I have created a 'Generate Document' link on 'Change Hours' page of SSHR.
But When I click on that link,I am seeing a blank screen and could not get the document.

Since I am not able to understand the specifics of the SSHR Page, its slightly difficult to suggest something. If you can share the technical details of the page, it might be easier to make a guess. Btw, in case this is standard page behaviour, Oracle Metalink might be a place to look out for resolution.

We are trying to use workflows to review and edit pdf files in sharepoint 2010. We are having a couple of issues and am hoping someone has the answer.....
1) When myself and coworkers click on the pdf document in the library, we get the check out option as expected. However when we click on the document
link in a workflow task (on the sharepoint site), the pdf opens as a temporary file and we do not get the check out option. Why does this happen?????
2) The same thing happens when we click on the document link in the workflow task email; HOWEVER, one of our co-workers does get the
check out option when clicking on the link in the email task. Why would she get the checkout option using the email and not when clicking on the link in the task list on the sharepoint site ???? We have compared our internet settings and adobe
settings to ours and found no differences.
We are using Sharepoint 2010, Windows 7, IE8, Adobe Reader X or XI. Some of us have Adobe Pro X and have the same issues.Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you could not get the checkout option for a pdf type document when clicking on the document link in the SharePoint workflow task.
I try to reproduce the issue, however, no matter when I click the pdf type document in the library or click on the pdf document link in the workflow task email, it download the pdf doucment and then I can open it.
It will be better if you can descript how you
get the check out option as expected when you click on the pdf document in the library.
Then I upload a
word type document to the library, no matter when I click the word type document in the library or click on the word document link in the workflow task email, I can open the word document directly and get the check out option as expected.
I recommend to use the other type docuemts to check whether the check out option works.

I am a pro photographer and I've never used iPhoto. I use a combination of Adobe's Bridge, Lightroom & Photoshop programmes. I've sent a disk of images to a client and they cannot see the file numbers of the images. Their version of iPhoto only displays the document title that I have embedded in the metadata when importing the images into Bridge.
When I ran a test and imported the same images into my version of iPhoto(7.1.5, since you ask) some of the thumbnails displayed the file number while others displayed the document title. Why does this happen? Can I make it stop? How do I make iPhoto display just the file number in thumbnail mode and not the document title?
When I view the images in Bridge, all I see is the file number but I can't convince the client to use the programme even though they have it. Any help/guidance will be very gratefuly received.

Select one of the affected photos in the iPhoto Window and right click on it. From the resulting menu select 'Show File...
In iPhoto 11:
Select one of the affected photos in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Reveal in Finder -> Original...

Can't log into BOE system using SAP Authentication when using Document Link
Hi all.
We are setting up our dev SBOP 4.0 SP2 system and are working on getting everything configured to our requirements.
What I am currently struggling with is the Document Link functionality.
If you browse to a document (WEBI or Crystal) in the folder view in the BI Launchpad and right click and select Document View, the system presents a static link to the report. The problem is, when I execute that link in another browser window, the system prompts me with the default login screen that consists of the User Name and Password which utilizes the Enterprise authentication by default. Our login authentication is set to SAP everywhere else.
I've already set the parameters for BILaunchpad.properties to allow us to log into the BOE server using our user IDs and that works without a problem. I've also configured the OpenDocument.properties file as well. Neither of these two files seem to have any impact on the screen I'm seeing when I try to use the Document Link. (And yes, I've restarted the tomcat server each time I've made a change to the config files.)
I'm running out of ideas - have any of you encountered this issue before and do you have any suggestions?

i saw this also a couple of times that the changes to the "custom" folder wont take affect.
Try the following:
1. Stop the Tomcat
2. Rename the properties file in the custom folder
3. take a backup of the properties file from the config folder
4. make the changes to the properties file in the config folder
5. start tomcat
Maybe this will solve the issue but if you deploy a new Fix Pack or Service Pack these Settings will get override.
If this solved your problem i would recommend you open a Support Message with the SAP Support.

We have looked at all kinds of settings, profile etc and nothing evident can be determined to explain the reason. However, one difference we did notice is that this person does not have a default web browser set and thus when clicking on items to open, it always pops up a dialog box asking which program to use to open it with. This person chooses Adobe Reader and it opens on the Sharepoint server as it should and she gets the checkout option in a dialog box just like clicking on the document in the library. My theory is that this step of choosing the program to open with is interrupting the typical way a pdf file is handled when clicking on URL links to the document, which is…. it is opened as temporary internet file rather than on the Sharepoint server. Hopefully someone can figure this out ☺

How to keep links from being broken when moved or file is later split
Which is the best way to make sure that a link to another pdf file is not broken when a file is emailed or moved to a new location off of the server? Should you link a destination or use the hyperlink feature?
If the links are created and the file then has to be split, will the links be retained in the split files?PDF moved —
PDF#1 has a link to PDF#2. To keep this link functional after putting PDF#1 elsewhere:
--| Relocate PDF#2 with PDF#1; maintaining the same path to the target of the link (which is PDF#2).
--| Or, use Acroat's link tool to modify the link in PDF#1 so that you establish a functional path to wherever PDF#2 is at.
For email, if PDF#1 & PDF#2 are adjacent to one another under some folder/directory & then linked you'd want to email both files together. Both PDFs can be saved &, provided they stay adjacent, the links will work.
PDF split —
PDF#3 has internal links (e.g., a link from PDF page 1 to some other PDF page in PDF#3).
You split PDF#3 by extracting the first 5 PDF pages & now have PDF#4.
Any links in PDF#4, to PDF#3 pages past page 5 will not function.
Use Acrobat's Link tool to modify the link such that it goes from PDF#4 to the desired page in PDF#4.
n.b., There are 3rd party plug-ins for Acrobat that can facilitate bookmark and link management.
A web search will provide a listing.

FM BDS_GOS_CONNECTIONS_GET is used to get the information when attachment are stored via 'Create attachment' .

Try with FM ARCHIVOBJECT_GET_URI or ARCHIV_GET_CONNECTIONS. With this FM you get the business documents attached to an object. You have to fill the object type and the object id.

I CANNOT MAKE THE ONLINE SUBSCRIPTION TO WORK
AND MSFT Billing is ignoring the Problem Report we have submitted!!!!! We submitted the problem report more than a week ago and MSFT Billing basically said
"it should work - but without a paid support plan, we cannot allocate someone to solve it"
Billing even forwarded it back to Azure Support, who then called me, walked me through the issue, took screen shots - forwarded it back to Billing.
And Billing's solution was to cancel the subscription we had registered on the other account
And DO NOTHING about our issue.
