Document not printing full size

I am a new pages user, and I am creating a magazine for an english class. Two out of four of my articles do not print full size, even though the paper size is set up and everything else seems to be full size. When I look at print preview, the article is shrunk down and I have no idea how to go about fixing this.

Kurt,
I'm not implying it's a bug. I recognize that it's a "feature." But I'd like to be able to print my doc without having to first turn the Comments feature off. It would make a good Preference selection. But I also like your idea about the warning.

  • Jewel case inserts are not printing full size

    Hi all,
This might be a more appropriate topic to one of the general forums, but I thought I'd try here first...
I have a color printer (Lexmark z23) hooked up to an old PC, and wanted to print out a color copy of a jewel case insert. (I only have a b/w laser printer hooked up to the Mac.) So I used the print command in iTunes but saved it to PDF instead of printing. I then emailed the file to myself to get it to the PC... but when I printed the PDF, the jewel case insert was "shrunk" slightly. It's not the right size for a jewel case anymore. I even tried "printing" (to PDF) on the Mac at 105%, but then it gets cut off at the edge of the page.
Is this a printer problem or an iTunes problem? Or a problem caused by the backasswards way I have to print the things? I really don't want to have to buy another program just to print darn jewel case inserts. I don't need anything fancy, and the iTunes printing options would suit my needs just fine.
    Any help much appreciated!
    Erin

Yes, Apple have done it YET AGAIN. Stuffed up the printing like they did in 11.0 and recified in 11.1. It is the coding error they had before, and fixed but now must have put the old coding back. Great customer service yet again (NOT!) - clearly programmed by a genius???!!

  • Not printing full size document page

Hi!  Yesterday I learned how to scan a document to my computer, and maybe that is why this glitch happened, I don't know.
Ever since when I try to print on my HP 1512 all-in-one, the page comes out a tiny size (about 2"by3") instead of a regular full page document.  Any help?
    Thanks!  Rosalie

  • How do I get slides to print full size? They are currently printing with speaker notes

Trying to print my keynote presentation and the slide printouts are being shrunk to appropriate size when using speaker notes. Can someone help me get the settings resized to print full size?

When you select 'print', a dialog box should open & one of the options under 'print' should be 'individual slides'.  This should print the slide as a whole page.

  • MY printer officejet7000 DOES NOT PRINT FULL A3 SIZE PAPER LIKE my prin cut for botam

MY printer officejet7000 DOES NOT PRINT FULL A3 SIZE PAPER my print cut for botam & top side, Same printout give in my old model printer like k7108  this printer printour full printing, but I newly purchase printer not printour full a3 size print

Those '''user_pref("print.printer_Artisan_837 ....''' preferences are what needs to be deleted, with Firefox closed.
I think that "ding-dong" error sound might be due to an old print job stuck in the print cache, though. Open the Windows Control Panel > Printers and Faxes and check the '''Status''' for that printer.

  • F2480 will not print A4 size pictures,

My F2480 will not print A4 size pictures (210 x 295mm) the largest it will print is 200 x 265 mm Help needed please

    Hi,
I assume you are using a Photo Paper, Please clarify if I am wrong.
Be aware that while the Maximum size for plain paper is 210 x 297mm,
The largest supported Photo Paper is 203.2 x 254 mm, as you may find listed within the product specification's Paper Types and Sizes section:
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01758526&tmp_task=prodinfoCategory&cc=us&dlc=en...
Additionally, your printer support borderless printing up to 100 x 300 mm and not full A4 size

  • How To Print Full Size 8x11 on officejet 6500

I just bought an officejet 6500. I want to print a picture full size. It's 8x10.5in. I select 8x11 paper. Best resolution and all just like I did on my old hp, but when I print, it resizes to 3x5 (my guess). Why is it doing this? How do I get it to stop. This should be simple. The resolution is about 97dpi. Does that have anything to do with it? I printed the same photos the way I wanted on my old printer. If I printed this exact printer on my old printer, it would print full size. And how I get it to use the printer as the default and not the fax. I'm not even using the fax. I have to select the printer every time. I'm on Vista by the way.

It turns out that I can't seem to print the way I want from Photoshop CS3. Other applications seem to print OK. I can print without any issue if I use Corel PhotoPaint. But if I try to use Photoshop, it prints a small picture no matter what setting I seem to pick. Unfortunately I mostly use Photoshop to print. I could print using HP Essentials, but there doesn't appear to be any way to custom size what I want to print in that program.

  • PDF 1st page prints full size but not the rest

I have one PC that has the following issue when printing PDF's. The first page prints full 8 1/2 by 11, but subsequent pages are scaled down to about 1/3 of the page.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Acrobat Reader, but to no avail.
This is the only PC it is happening to.

I also have this problem printing photos from an iPad to an Epson WF-2540 printer. It prints only 4x6 and without border (so print starts at extreme top left corner of paper). Borderless printing is not selected on printer. Printing a square photo just crops to 4x6 size.

  • Not getting full size prints from scans

Using Windows 7 and Acrobat X to scan documents on a Brother MFC 420CN.  Prints from scans come out at about 80% of full size.  Would prefer to have prints at full size.  Is there a setting in Acrobat for this?

You can try this to see if it gives you the proper page size:
In Acrobat, choose File > Create > PDF from Scanner > Custom Scan.
Click the Options button to the right of the scanner name.
In the Scanner Options dialog, choose Show Scanner's Native Interface from the pop-up menu.
In the scanner's interface, choose the correct page size.

  • Size in document not same as size in printout

I am laying out an 8 inch by 5 inch area in Keynote all within a rectangle that I gave an explicit size of 8 inch by 5 inch. Within the keynote document the sizes all are correct.
When I print, everything is scaled down by about 70%
I tried both portrait and landscape in page setup (portrait scaled things down even more)
I looked to make sure there was nothing in the print dialog that was scaling.
Any ideas? Is it possible to make objects of absolute size in Keynote or is everything just relative?

OK..that's ok I can live with that; I know ID on-screen even high quality is not the full, true quality.
shooting for a no-brains workflow here...I guess I did my part with the no-brains end of it!
thank you for your brains-based help, Peter!

  • How do I print a complete document in PRINT ACTUAL SIZE setting?

When I select PRINT ACTUAL SIZE for a document spanning 3 A4 pages it only selects, displays and prints ONE A4 page...see screenshot below

I don't see the screen shot. Screenshots can only be uploaded when you are using the forum version here and not via email.
It's also helpful to supply your version of Adobe Reader, OS, and any other info that might be important.

  • Why Hp2800 Inkjet not printing full colour. Have replaced cartridge and heads

My old HP 2800 suddenly began printing not in full colour - I replaced the colour cartridges, still not full colour printing - then replaced printer heads - still not full colour printing - everything is in black and shades of blue. Please help

    Hi melissaccss,
I see you have replaced a cartridge and can no longer print black ink. I appreciate the troubleshooting you have done so far, but please take a look at the following document to see if you have done all that can be done; Fixing Ink Streaks, Faded Prints, and Other Common Print Quality Problems.
If the issue persists, I recommend calling HP and letting the know the issue as well as the steps you have already completed. It may be helpful to even let them know you completed all of the steps in HP document #c01957673.

  • 6830 Not Printing Full Page

Installed my new printer this morning using a wireless network.  Finally got that to work after 2 hours, but now it does not print a full page from Word, Excel, or web (only applications I tried).  It cancels the print about half-way down the page. Thanks.

Update After getting NO help from HP and on this forum and being unable to scan or print a document on this piece of crap for a month.
It has given me great pleasure to smash the printer into pieces the sound of breaking glass was music to my ears ( we have recently moved house and the receipt is lost so no refund available from the 5 month old printer.
Over the last 3 years I have bought a HP desktop / Ext hard drive/ 2 laptops and this printer only the ext hard drive had not required a repair.  the two laptops both has factory faults thankfully under European law I was given a full refund  the desktop failed requiring a return and free repair and now this.... I am not a violent man but we all know to get anything repaired when its not your fault is a nightmare of paperwork taking up to 6 months.
A hammer is SO MUCH MORE EFFICIENT.
I declare I will NEVER buy HP ever again!
